Yonkers PD in NY uses these on their new ESU trucks, they look amazing! I've seen them responding multiple times, really catches your eye with the intensity and old school look! Great video!
ASMR Rounds Oh people will still make that excuse and “well I didn’t hear your siren either.” They just need that one extra minute to hide their gun or other drugs somewhere in their vehicle before actually pulling over that’s the real reason lol. I’ve never actually personally seen anyone get pulled over and use that excuse and NOT have any narcotics or firearms in the vehicle or on their person. .
Glad to see they are trying to keep the classic rotating lights around making them brighter with LEDs. Very smart to just keep the concept as a lightbar rotating.
I'm really addicted flashing lights. its of the main reasons I went into the Private Security business, I can build a vehicle that needs to be seen with bright lights when out patrolling property or a shopping center
When I was there about a week ago, this lightbar was in the showroom, and it was BLINDING. Like Stewart said, I really think this might go somewhere. It almost EXACTLY emulated the look of my old code 3 LP6000. This is a very bright and cool lightbar.
I like this lightbar much more than what is currently on the market, if there was a similar technology or even the capability to replace the current linear LEDs with the Rota-Beam ,for Code 3's MX7000 or Excalibur lightbars or even the Federal Signal Vision SLR lightbar, and have an automatic dimming feature using ambient light so that it would not blind other drivers as they approach, I would be a big fan of Emergency Vehicle Lighting again.
This is the standard issue for the Sûreté du Québec vehicles (Provincial highway patrol) though there are mostly the older halogen ones in service. Very interesting and unusual "dog bone" shape.
Lovely bar!!! Reminds me a lot of a Code 3 360 in terms of its shape and split level lighting. Sûreté du Québec/Quebec Provincial Police has used Deltas for a good while and only recently and partially replaced them with Legacies, IIRC.
I would pay any price to be able to add one of these to my collection and that is not a joke I have hunted for one of these and I can't find one anywhere
So bummed out this bar isn't available anymore... it was stupid expensive in its day, which I think was its demise.. but I'd 100% buy one now if they still made them.
Federal Signal came out with the Navigator bar which is kinda like this, but I think an even better one would be a Valor based model with SLR Vision heads on top. Like a hybrid Valor-SLR.
Sadly this platform has been taken off Whelen's Lightbar menu. Have you seen their Freedom IV Series bars? These can incorporate the Rota-Beam modules in both the corner and inboard positions.
I would love to see a video like this of PowerArcs XT series lightbars, if at all possible. I have also been able to find this lightbar on Whelen's website it just takes a lot of searching to find it. It is listed as the delta DS super led series lightbar.
I like the idea of angled crisscross whites. If I could've programmed it, I would have the white crisscrosses, take downs, and alleys all synced, flashing opposite the colored 500 series. I would also include the opposite side white 500 series steady burn with the alley lights, so to give an even larger spread of white light to the sides, and steady burn the front two whites with the takedowns as well, again to help illuminate the corners instead of strictly straight ahead.
The phrase, Too Much, comes to mind. LEDs are blindingly bright so now let's add more & rotate them. Oy! No wonder fewer of us want to drive after dark.
I haven't seen this bar on Whelen's website or yours for that matter. Is Whelen not heavily advertising it yet? Looks like an awesome lightbar. I loved the old halogen rotators and this seems like a good way to give that rotating look. The bar itself may not be long term successful (the look leaves something to be desired) but I got a feeling the Rotobeam is going to be around for a long time.
Mike L It's a very, very specialized Light-bar with a long list of options. It is something that we can offer if a client has a request. The size, options, colors, modules, levels would all come into play for configuring it. It something that will be seen in large Fire & Rescue Apparatus as the Truck Builders start using them. Its a modern day Delta Bar really.
Good Morning. The Delta RB Light-bar platform is available. It has a wide variety of options and module configurations that in can be arranged in. Our Sales Team will be glad to help you with any questions you have. Emailing them would be great. They can be reached at- info@sirennet.com. Thank You :)
I would prefer this style to be on most patrol cars. The instant flashing makes me tense (when im not even being pulled over). Something about the rotor makes it seam more calm.
+Mark Morris Good Morning Mark. For Pricing information, please email our Sales Team at: info@sirennet.com. They'll be able to put together a proper Quotation for you. Thank You.
Do you guys take your products that you sell and do any alterations to them or do you just sell them and out fit vehicles? Im not all on board with these LED lightbars. During the day time hours they just aren't as visible on our city and highway patrol vehicles when running on a call versus the old school Code3 LP6000 or any lightbar with the traditional halogen rotators. At night the LED lightbars are great, but dangerously obnoxious blinding even to the sober drivers on any highway or road. Im working on a project with a couple of my old Code3 SlickStik interior lightbars which in my opinion had so much potential for today's market, but killed before their time. I think with what Im going to do with one of them is by retaining the end sweeping lights and Im going to take it up with some of the new LED technology from Code3 by placing them where the strobes and halogen flashers would be in the middle, then maybe it would make a come back for under cover work or marked units all together again?
Don't mean to start a fight here, but are they using older LED lights? These new Generations within the past few years are just as good in my opinion. We have both on our dept and I would rather have the LED. Less to maintain and just as bright, if not brighter, with the new tech.
No they're using current Code3 LEDx technology mixed with the rotator combination lightbars and the rotators are more noticeable than the LEDs than during the day. Phoenix FD Fire Engines are a different story all together... Theirs are very noticeable and are made by Tomar and those lightbars are four inches tall and packed with the large LED filaments versus the smaller LED filaments on regular other brand lightbars.
aznative78 Code 3 LED X modules are terrible (in my opinion). They are considered Gen 2 lights, and my old agency went to the 2100 lighters when they first came out (around 2003'ish if I remember correctly). About four to five years ago, they transitioned to the new Defender bars. No comparison and a night and day difference. Compared to halogen rotators and the brightest strobe bars ever built (like the Edge Ultra), the current LED's blow them out of the water during the daytime. Even current Whelen Liberty II bars compared to Liberty bars from five to seven years ago are a night and day difference in brightness and effectiveness. I hated the LED X bars (terrible intersection and side 90-degree coverage), and the Optix 2100's were only a slight improvement. The defenders are a completely different story. So are products such as current generation Freedom, Liberty, Liberty II, and Legacy bars.
aznative78 Without seeing what exactly your talking about I would venture to guess that the lightbars are not hooked up properly. Even gen 1 led heads are much more visible during daylight hours than standard halogen / strobe lights. Maybe the installers hooked up the low power by accident or maybe the agency is running a knockoff lightbar. Many knockoff's are copycats of the big lightbar companies and look exactly like their legit counterparts. Code 3 makes really good, really high quality products as does Whelen and Federal Signal. I would check to make sure the light bar is in fact a Code 3 and not a knock off and that it installed properly.
They took it off their Light-bar menu in late 2015. The Freedom IV Rota-Beam platform may interest you: www.whelen.com/auto/product?head_id=4&cat_id=173&prod_id=724
Puts off a lot of light but it physically looks like a light bar from 25 years ago. For police you need to mix light output, stealth, and wind resistance. This thing is like putting a sail on your car.Today you can put of a lot of light with vert low profile LED bars. I just don't see a need for this. Very cool but I don't think there's a big enough market.
Once I'm on a stop or at a scene where warning is needed, I just go down to two front and two rear flashers on my bar. At night, I put them on low power. Too much light can be dangerous. This bar is cool, but too tall and bulky. I hate to say, but it's got too many lights.
This lightbar looks really cool. Very attention grabbing. Did anybody else hear that guy yell at 3:25 in? I busted out laughing. In any case, you guys do a great job.
SIRENNET oh yeah it's effective! And probably very high quality, I just don't care for the appearance I didn't like the original model either but I like that rotator style LEDs are coming around I'll be watching closely
Perfect light bar for LEO’s that do ASPCA work in large metro areas, because of the neat dog bone design plus it’s incredibly bright. One of Sire-net videos outfitted a patrol vehicle for ASPCA cops & it also was loaded with a enormous amount of lights, so this would have been perfect.
They need a dam night mode and day mode . I passed a cop at night a couldn't see a god dam thing !! Absolutely hate the new bars !!😠 Maybe a lawsuit will fix the issue?
I wish this was an industry norm. This or the FedSig SLR rotator are highly effective and still give that "pop" effect of classic rotators. The newer LED lights are not as effective IMO.
They need to bring this bar back. I’d love to get one.
Yonkers PD in NY uses these on their new ESU trucks, they look amazing! I've seen them responding multiple times, really catches your eye with the intensity and old school look! Great video!
+Brandon Danuff Thank You :)
unreasonably bright- love it
Good thing it has a Low setting :)
Best lightbar I've seen to date... awesome pop from those lights
Thanks for watching :)
Best light bar I've seen come out of Whelen.
Pretty unique and powerful :)
well u cant ever say "i didn't see you behind me officer"
ASMR Rounds Oh people will still make that excuse and “well I didn’t hear your siren either.” They just need that one extra minute to hide their gun or other drugs somewhere in their vehicle before actually pulling over that’s the real reason lol. I’ve never actually personally seen anyone get pulled over and use that excuse and NOT have any narcotics or firearms in the vehicle or on their person. .
Glad to see they are trying to keep the classic rotating lights around making them brighter with LEDs. Very smart to just keep the concept as a lightbar rotating.
This is the most amazing light bar ever.
you and Chris are living my dream. I love lights and am so jealous Everytime I watch videos of lights.
We appreciate that. :) Thank you very much for watching and following. :)
luther berge Same here, I'm pretty much addicted to them, lol
luther berge The lights, not Stewart and Chris, that came out wrong, sorry
I'm really addicted flashing lights. its of the main reasons I went into the Private Security business, I can build a vehicle that needs to be seen with bright lights when out patrolling property or a shopping center
If I were in charge of a fleet of emergency vehicles I’d use these bars! Super cool
Having seen this lightbar, I can now die in peace. For my eyes have seen but can see no more.
I don't know know how I missed this... truly amazing
that is awesome looking . More departments should use this type of lightbar. great visibility
When I was there about a week ago, this lightbar was in the showroom, and it was BLINDING. Like Stewart said, I really think this might go somewhere. It almost EXACTLY emulated the look of my old code 3 LP6000. This is a very bright and cool lightbar.

Well...I've just gone blind for 10 minutes
SomeBloke8895 well the video isn't even 10 min. Hahah
This is the standard issue for the Sûreté du Québec vehicles (Provincial highway patrol) though there are mostly the older halogen ones in service. Very interesting and unusual "dog bone" shape.
Chargèro
Lovely bar!!! Reminds me a lot of a Code 3 360 in terms of its shape and split level lighting. Sûreté du Québec/Quebec Provincial Police has used Deltas for a good while and only recently and partially replaced them with Legacies, IIRC.
Just plain SICK🤯🤯👍
Now That Is an AWESOME LIGHT BAR ... Sweeeeet
Reminds me of the delta bar.. Very nice. I could see the Sûreté du Québec changing to this bar.
Put those in a classic aerodynic or jetsonic light bar with all blue on one side and red on the other would look sweet.
I would pay any price to be able to add one of these to my collection and that is not a joke I have hunted for one of these and I can't find one anywhere
@SECPD The next time we have one of the Rota-Beam Beacon's come in, we'll try to get come Application/Video of it in action.
So bummed out this bar isn't available anymore... it was stupid expensive in its day, which I think was its demise.. but I'd 100% buy one now if they still made them.
I can imagine what it costed. A heavy speced out whelen freedom 48” was nearly 6000 dollars for us
The overall surface area of this bar in the LED setup os ideal. And is still better than anything today here in 2020
Was it just me or did it look like the roto beams on the far ends of the light bar we’re never activated throughout the entire video ??
Federal Signal came out with the Navigator bar which is kinda like this, but I think an even better one would be a Valor based model with SLR Vision heads on top. Like a hybrid Valor-SLR.
its so much eye catching than conventional non rotating LED
Thanks for watching😀
*Wow.* I'd like to purchase a few sets of these for my department.
Sadly this platform has been taken off Whelen's Lightbar menu. Have you seen their Freedom IV Series bars? These can incorporate the Rota-Beam modules in both the corner and inboard positions.
PERFECT for STATE TROOPERS ! 💪
I wish you guys still had this bar I'd be willing to pay full price for it
kinda fun that they're still making "rotary" lightbars
It's come full circle, back to rotating just using LED technology. Whelen Engineering's Rota-Beam series products are brilliant!
Did you see this Lightbar? th-cam.com/video/KSJ03uVBe84/w-d-xo.html
Ok, now this is pretty cool.
I would love to see a video like this of PowerArcs XT series lightbars, if at all possible. I have also been able to find this lightbar on Whelen's website it just takes a lot of searching to find it. It is listed as the delta DS super led series lightbar.
We're not a Power Arc dealer. Unfortunately we won't be able to help with a Sirennet Presentation on their Lightbars.
Where are my sunglasses, I can't see anything. LoL.
Nice. I would love to see the departments go back to a rotatry style light bar.
love this, but can't find it anywhere.
Unfortunately Whelen Engineering no longer offers this platform.
The phrase, Too Much, comes to mind. LEDs are blindingly bright so now let's add more & rotate them. Oy! No wonder fewer of us want to drive after dark.

SIRENNET Ah, that makes sense. It is a very cool looking light bar though. I have always preferred the rotating look.
I've never been a ran of led rotator imitators, but this is very effective i do like it
Hi , I tried to find this product in sirennet site but could't find it, is it available ?
Good Morning. The Delta RB Light-bar platform is available. It has a wide variety of options and module configurations that in can be arranged in. Our Sales Team will be glad to help you with any questions you have. Emailing them would be great. They can be reached at- info@sirennet.com. Thank You :)
+SIRENNET thanks for help . I will send an email to sales department ,btw I'm a big Sirennet Fan .
That's great to hear :) Thank You :)
Great Video and Product!
Hillo how can it get one like it
Im from Lebanon
We'd love to help - but... unfortunately the Delta Rota-Beam's not available anymore.
Incredibly bright which could creat visibility issues for passing traffic.
I wonder why these werent more popular
I would prefer this style to be on most patrol cars. The instant flashing makes me tense (when im not even being pulled over). Something about the rotor makes it seam more calm.
Makes me want to get pulled over. Can't wait.
Nice.
Wow 😮
Thanks for watching😀
I like that light bar needs to be in blue Amber and white what's the price on it
These have since been taken off the Whelen menu of light-bar offerings.
Very impressive!
We're glad you like it. Impressive is the perfect way to describe it.
couldn't find a price on this light bar how much is the msrp
Good Morning... For pricing information, please email our Sales Team at: info@sirennet.com. Thank You :)
How much? Can't find these for sale anywhere
They don't make them anymore
Actually looks like the old police bars as opposed to just LED blinkers.
Love it ..
How much?
We hate to say; but unfortunately the Delta Rota-beam platform is no longer available for ordering.
I like these roto type bars much MUCH more that the flat led bars..... the simulated rotating action is much better than just flat flashing IMO
Why do they think they must blind you?
Reminds me of the vision slr from federal signal. Are these still being made??
Sure are.
He himself says that they are blinding. Like a sound man, if loud is good, painful is better!
does it come in green?
The lower-level 500 series Modules can come in Green. The top Rota-Beam Modules unfortunately are not offered in Green.
how much for a 60in all Amber white to front and and red Amber to back I live in Arizona and that's what we r aloud on our tow trucks
+Mark Morris Good Morning Mark. For Pricing information, please email our Sales Team at: info@sirennet.com. They'll be able to put together a proper Quotation for you. Thank You.
That's a nice bar
Pretty nice!!
+Rod Heinze Thank You :)

Where are you from originally Stewart ?
Here & there; Ireland and South Africa.
With an english accent haha

Bigger vehicles would complement it best. Next time we'll try to get a 2018 F-350 for display :)

Yeah, exactly. It's also way too bright.
Would be great for the Fire Trucks in Ontario, Canada!
I want one for my utv
wow
Exactly :)
Stuart: let me turn it on...
Every viewer: ARGGGHHH...MY EYESSS!!!
Stuart: oops, sorry..😰
No cameras we're melted... correction- harmed in the making :) Haha :)
I don't like the bone shape but other than that it is awesome.
Can you get the heads for the whelen freedom light bar for the corners? I've seen them on them, but not alot.
+RGMerkel Good Morning. We may be able to assist you with the Freedom Module's. Please email our Sales Team at- info@sirennet.com. Thank You.
This lightbar looks really cool. Very attention grabbing. Did anybody else hear that guy yell at 3:25 in? I busted out laughing. In any case, you guys do a great job.
We appreciate it :) Thank you for watching. With the school next door we get some amusing background noises :)
Still no answer on whether you will sell this bar to me or not considering you just did a video of it two days ago I know you still have it
Sorry but the murrican red and blue combination just makes it pink...
3:20 "And believe me it's incredibly powerful"
Meanwhile a quarter of a mile away a cyclist yells out as he is blinded!
Frankenstein light
I don't like it but I'm Impressed by it
It's more appropriate for bigger Vehicles. :) The light stretches on forever though with all of the diodes.
SIRENNET oh yeah it's effective! And probably very high quality, I just don't care for the appearance I didn't like the original model either but I like that rotator style LEDs are coming around I'll be watching closely
