The figure looks much natural and cool after removing the distracting red over the body. The new silver coating has done a good job to give a metallic feel. Marvellous! 👍👍👍
Oh wow, love what you did here! The gunmetal in the recessed areas worked wonders! Also love the little improvements you make to your videos, like showing the paint before you start, and showing yourself painting each section up close and more slowly. Love your channel Ken! Hopefully you know that considering how long I've been subscribed and the fact I keep coming back 😁
You don’t have to use Acetone/Nail Polish remover. Especially if you’re a Beginner to that method. It can melt the plastic if you apply too much. You can use Rubbing Alcohol to rub off away the Paint.
I don't think the acetone needs to be a specific one, but if you have trouble finding it, it can also go by nail polish remover. I would recommend rubbing alcohol though, because it's less harsh on plastic.
Amazing job! Also, it can be any kind of acetone but try not to overuse! Too much will melt the plastic and make sure to give at least an hour in between heating (to remove parts) and acetone, it will be a terrifying result. Anyway, just nail polish remover would work as long as acetone is in it.
@@KenIMakeIt If you use too much acetone, it can rub off the new paint you added. To control how much acetone you use, I'd recommend Q-tips since they're small and thin. Oh and use a face mask in a well ventilated area, it doesn't smell good.
Acetone removes all the paint on figures. Whether it be what you add, or what was there in the box. In the case of a painted figure I'd recommend leaving it how it is, unless you're prepared to repaint. (I used it on the 'Starforce Captain Marvel' to paint it silver for an 838 CM custom [maybe a new idea 👀]
To answer your question about acetone, I don't recommend the gel type. In my personal experience, it did little to nothing in removing paint from figures. I would recommend liquid acetone, it's honestly up to you which one you want. Sorry if this doesn't help much.
@@KenIMakeIt Okay, good to know. By the way, will you be fixing DC figures somewhere along the line? Like maybe DC multiverse figures that don't look great can be fixed. It's just a suggestion though.
Don't use acetone!!! try to avoid acetone as much as you can with plastic figures, especially with the ones that have a lot of tiny sculpted details and thin lines, cause acetone is going to make the smallest sculpted details disappear, acetone basically dissolves plastic, so I highly recommend using break fluid with plastic figures, but it takes more of a learning process, so first watch some videos about how to use it, btw I'm a big fan of your videos since the very first one.

The silver is more metallic and this makes Ultron look more powerful. Good job!
The photo shots are awesome. Ultron looks very cool in the photos.
Looks 1000% better! Well done Ken!! The original red was so distracting and fake looking. This looks good! Go for the display!
💪💪💪
I do like how you brought out the details with just a simple black wash in the deep crevices. This looks so much better than before.
He looks really Cool, Thanks for Sharing.
Loving this Age Of Ultron wave
I think the original Ultron is helpless as it is not attractive to me. But, you have saved Ulton and made it like a heroic robot now.
I think this repaint looks 10x better especially the face.
Nice shine i love the color great job as always. 💪

I use Pronto brand acetone with a q tip. Just make sure to switch out the q tip often.

Awsome so shiny
Please see if you can do anything with the deadpool figure
I use cutex nail polish remover as it's way cheaper than pure acetone, works exactly the same, and smells nicer.
You are inspiring! I've been following you for some time now and I don't get it. You should be getting more subs! Keep up the good work!
Thank you!! 💪💪
make a diorama for age of ultron! ❤️

🙌 Thanks for the tips! In gonna go get some! In this case for Ultron, would the acetone rub off the silver paint too?

Nick Fury: "Just try not to bring it to life"
Ken: (casually reaches for paint brush)
🤣🤣
You should apply for a role in the next Saw
Will you improve the moon knight figures? Also amazing job on ultron
please consider the same process for Infinity Ultron. That figures potential has yet to be unlocked
.. I didn’t get the whole wave ☹️ but I ordered the Moon Knight figures!
How do you paint joints and keep them from rubbing paint off?
Love your video Ken Hope You can Fix Marvel legend Moon Knight Mcu

Ultron looks concerned because he has to pay his taxes
In the movie He’s all Chrome Silver
Also, missed opportunity for when you said he was calling to you, for an insert of him saying, “I was meant to be beautiful.”
