I've always wanted to tackle this figure, but the cost of replacing it if I messed up always scared me. Love the new style of filming, and what you did with this figure, it looks great!
I liked the new filming style. It does make it easier to see what you're doing. Loved the final result. Wish I knew how to dry brush silver details like that :) As for the prepping of the figure I would at least wash it with soap. At the very least it would remove dust and any finger grease. I do different prepping for different figures: if it's just a easy repaint I would just wash, if a more detailed repaint I would use a sponge sander (don't know what they're called it's used for fine sanding) but if it is a full custom I do disassemble and sand down and dremel the joints too. Like you said, different styles, do what works for you :)
I’ve always been curious why you never use actual metallic paints and opt for a gloss coat instead? Not judging, I still think your work is awesome I was just curious.
The dollar stores only have gold and silver metallic paints. One time I was testing the varnish and realized it gives a similar effect + sealing the paint so it stuck with me 😅😅
I will say Ken, you should definitely at least wash the figures with soap and water. They spray figures with this release agent before it gets set into packaging in order to ensure the figure won't stick to its plastic tray. The release agent does tend to resist paint so this simple step really could save you a lot of trouble and make your paint apps stronger.
Congrats to the winners of the Black and White Spider-Man giveaway! Please send me a message on Instagram. Thank you again for all your support 💪💪💪
The fixing makes Hulkbuster look heavier and more powerful. Good work!
Awesome! He looks so much better
WOW this might actually be your best work
AWESOME!!! Once again!!!👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
The photos of the fight between Hulkbuster and Hulk are awesome. How can you make figures have human emotions and attitudes in the photos?
One Marvel Legends that has been in desperate dire need of a repaint!! Great work as always!
Wow you did awesome!
looks great!
Level of detail is insane well done my dude 💯💪
Looks so much better.. I have both versions of this hulkbuster and I just might attempt this too.. thanks for the inspiration
Hulkbuster looks awesome with metallic feel after the repaint. The new dark red is so much better than the original orange red. Great work!

Looks Awesome!
Fantastic tutorial! I have the same misgivings about the coloring on mine. You make it seem possible - if I get some practice first, of course!

Same! Finally had the courage haha
You should redo all of the MCU figures from Iron Man - present.
I wash my figures in hot sopy water and disassembly my figures
Hello👋👋😁
This is Ken
This was soo cool!
But, you don't want make star wars toys? For example darth vader or somebody else?
Will you ever paint other brands or other types of figures like sh figurearts or maybe paint Star Wars?
This custom is awesome. By the way, do you know if it's possible to get that varnish in stores instead of just online?
I believe so! I think I’ve seen it in arts and crafts stores
@@KenIMakeIt Thank you. Is there one in specific that you would recommend me check out?
You should try to make the mc farlon action figure look better lol

Great tips! I am going to start washing my figures! One day I’ll disassemble the figures too
Hello, it looks fantastic on you, Ken I Make it, could you do a makkari repaint of the eternals?

@@KenIMakeIt I see, whatever works then. As I said still looks awesome!
Go to sleep! Go to sleep! Go to sleep! 😂
The fact that it's a massive figure and not a skin tight suit really helps with the whole diaper problem that some figures have.
The colours of the original Hulkbuster are too sharp. It is like a novice Hulkbuster. The fixed one is an experienced and confident Hulkbuster.
It looks like a hot toys figure now.
