The concept of jizya is mentioned in the Quran. Jizya is a tax that was historically imposed on non-Muslims living in Muslim-ruled territories. The Quran mentions jizya in several verses, including:
"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizya willingly while they are humbled." (Quran 9:29)
In this verse, it is stated that non-Muslims who do not adopt the religion of Islam should pay jizya as a sign of submission to the Muslim rulers.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love how these guys talk about murder, beheading, blinding, homosexual sex etc like their giving a presentation to a company about the importance of diversity at the work place.

Homosexual relationships in India has only been condemned after British came here. And if that is the case we must blast Khajuraho temple and remove it off the face of India.

Are you trying to whitewash Alauddin Khilji? Given below a conversation between Alauddin and his Qazi:
Alauddin: How are Hindus designated in the law, as payers of tribute (kharja-guzar) or givers of tribute (kharja-dih)?
Qazi: They are called payers of tribute, and when the revenue officer demands silver from them, they should, without question and with all humility and respect, tender gold. If the officer spits into their mouths, Hindus must without reluctance open their mouths wide to receive it. By doing so they show their respect for the officer. The due subordination of the zimmi is exhibited in this humble payment and by this spitting into their mouths. The glorification of Islam is a duty, and contempt of the religion is vain. God holds them in contempt, for he says, ‘keep them under subjugation’. To keep the Hindus in abasement is especially a religious duty, because they are the most inveterate enemies of the Prophet, and because the Prophet has commanded us to slay them, plunder them, and make them captive, saying ‘Convert them to Islam or kill them, enslave them and spoil their wealth and property’. No doctor but the great doctor (Hanifa), to whose school we belong, has assented to the imposition of the jizya on Hindus. Doctors of other schools allow no other alternative but ‘Death or Islam’.
Alauddin: What you have said in accordance with the book, I have discovered all that by my own endeavours, and I have treated the Hindus accordingly.
A history written in blood cannot be unwritten by lies written in ink. Have the guts to speak the truth.

Why the power always goes to psychos.
And here comes the andh bhakts always defending hindus😂😂.
History is never binary. While khilji was destroying few temples for gold.. I am pretty sure in most of the Indian places hindu dharma thrived. Hindu dharma and it’s school of thoughts never tied to few mere temples.
And people comparing to British are blind. Indian civilisations became poor and starving under British rules.. that has never happened with any kingdom in India before.
Plz stop being haters and judgy and blind.

Few temples? You'll hardly find any ancient temples in North India. Most of what you see is Maratha and Rajput architecture constructed 200-300 years ago.

Civilizations never are rich when the own people don't get the chance to rule it.
We South Indians are suffering today due to the policies of North India.
