We in our lives many times come across a huge thing we want to do but give up because it doesn't seem viable. The thing is while doing such insane things you can't calculate you just got to do it.
There were people on the highway who did not even own a cycle who completed the ride and people who had cycled thousands of kms and were not able to finish. In the end we are humble creatures in front of mother nature.
I have no words! I was browsing through to see cycle reviews and got lost in your journey!!! Crazy stuff!!!

Somewhat gutted as was to mark my 60th year but heart goes out to all in India suffering at the moment. I should be out there now but travel company offered crossing the Andes (x2) in October. I have transferred my deposit but may well cancel - There's only one Himalayas!!

As someone who works in TH-cam content, I think this video captures rawness in a way that many youtubers miss. They're all trying to be stars and portray themselves and their trips/travels in a certain way.... which is why I can really appreciate the honesty of this video. I feel like more people need to post videos like this.... doing stuff/living life, and letting the camera capture things the way they are. In terms of artistry, this video would be rated low but in terms of storytelling, it gets full marks. Great job, man.

I cannot imagine how thrilling this bike ride was! Not a lot of people can say that they rode from Manali to Leh on a bicycle. The video was sensational to watch and more motivation than anything I've ever seen!

I love cycling, but after school I didn't really got chance to do a lot of cycling, watching you guys doing these insane climbs really got me pumped. I might have to start cycling from the beginning but one day I will definitely going to do this. Hi Prithviraj... I am also planning a bike trip and was thinking of going alone... But I guess, it's better if you have 2-3 buddies with you just for the emergency reasons... I bought Firefox MTB last month and riding that these days in Delhi to prepare myself for the leh trip.... If you r interested, I can give you more details .. and maybe we can both go on the trip together. .. let me knwo
You can go self supported and best to do this with a group.

Hey man people do use them. But the roads are not very suitable for roads bikes. You will definitely need thicker tires

Neeraj Rigvedi so the last day it was raining heavily and just the previous day we got stuck in the hail storm. So many cyclist decided to take a bus to leh for the last day only few of us cycled. But if you gave up in the middle you have to go back to Manali or leh. Most people choose leh

MTBs over 25k would fit into your needs... For indian brands u can go for Firefox, just like one of the guy in the video had... I also have recently bought Firefox bike of 27k for the eventual reason to manali leh trip....
U can go for trek or Merida, if you have budget of 30-35 k.... Trek, Scott, Merida are international brands
