    Wow this is the most informative vodeo ive ever seen on here. I have just got my first 10 wat and theres no one in my area doing engraving or these kinda things. I could really do with some in depth help if you can. 😬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

    They look great, I love the idea of making bookmarks. Especially personalized ones.
    Just a question: What wood do you ise? Which thickness would you suggest is best?

      The wood I use is a 2 to 3mm plywood. I prefer plywood as the layers overlap, creating a strong, thin blank. You can also stin plywood to a variety of different colours. I do like using hardwoods, but as the grain runs in one direction, they can be liable to breaking so I tend to engrave on them rather than cutting through them depending on the design.

    Just out of curiousity, and love your video. Can this be done the same way in Creative Space for the Xtool M1 10W or as I have found out would it be restricted to those lasers that accept Lightburn? I am asking as to use Lightburn you need another peripheral in your computer in order to transfer the design to Creative Space to use them.

      Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have never used xtools creative space, so I can't say for definite, but if you are able to draw shapes and have similar tools as lightburn, you'll be able to follow along.
      Let me know how you get on. If someone asks me a similar question, I'll be able to give them a definite answer.

      @@MadeBetterWithKnowledge Thank you for replying. I will most definitely see if I can do the same or similar in Creative Space. I will attempt to record it at the same time, and upload it to my channel. I will tag you in the headline.

      @@MadeBetterWithKnowledge Hi again, Hmm interesting. Firstly, you cannot change the width of a shape without it changing the height, and you cannot change the height without it changing the wiidth. Also you can color the lines, but the last line you color becomes the first one to cut. Even if you change that color again it does not change the position. There doesnt appear to any manual way of changing the cut sequence either. So I will do a short for you, but honestly attempting to do my own designs for a bookmark is pretty much a no go. You cant even delete the bottom of a shape that you put on top. You can only move it to the back or the front, but it still remains as a cut line. I am going to do some research on Creative Space tomorrow, but it is not looking good and I cannot find an external software for doing this that is compatible with the XTool M1.....to restrictive in my books. What do you think?

    Did you take into account the outrageous fees Etsy charges sellers as well as other costly policies?

    • @richardcarter9749
      @richardcarter9749 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If your business doesn't need traffic driven to its site in order to make sales, then simply sell from your website and eliminate their fees.

      @@richardcarter9749 this does not help with the question I asked.

    • @MadeBetterWithKnowledge
      @MadeBetterWithKnowledge  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No the fees are not included in revenue. You can take off 23.1% on all revenue figures if that helps. Although Richardcarter9749 doesn't speak on my behalf, I do agree with what he is saying. If you can drive sales to your business without using an Etsy shop you can eliminate those fees.
