Hey Sisters. I'm a 20 y.o woman from South Africa. In my pubescent years, my older sisters would blatantly say ,"All men cheat. You are lucky if you never find out because that means he respects you." This belief would annoy me big time. However, even my mother and aunts hold the same sentiment. I do not disregard the possibility of this sentiment being prompted by personal experience; however, I think more should be demanded from men. Cheating is an active decision to prioritize one's own short-term pleasure over your partner's sanity, peace, lifestyle, and possibly health. You don't just stumble in it. I mean, I have many brothers in my life. This rhetoric is harmful and deceptive.

Society enables men's bad behavior and its so sickening! Whatever you do, don't accept that nonsense in your relationships. No to emotional abuse. We cannot be subjecting ourselves to diseases because "all men cheat".

I get it but the elder women and to an extent men, groom young women to be good wives to one man but the elder men do not groom young men to be good husbands

Exactly. Even if you convince yourself that it's "natural", we owe it to ourselves supposedly being part of a civilized society to evolve past our primitive urges. If you can't, then don't drag somebody who is trying down with you.

In regards to the dilemma, I've found that many married men in the workplace engage in flirtatious relationships with their coworkers for entertainment. Some engage in entire work situationships apart from their marriage. Many of them want the attention and adoration of someone else, and they get it from their coworkers.

To be honest I'm not entirely sure where this battle of the genders came from, I know there are systemic issues and gripes on both sides but I feel like there's a genuine hatred between sexes being fuelled by social media now, and I think the normalising cheating is kind of an extension of this that I pray we overcome as a generation. I think we need more mature men willing to stand up and speak out for our sisters and less tolerance for this as a society.

I feel like now that women are less disenfranchised, hundreds of years worth of frustration and anger stemming from oppression under misogyny is coming to the surface. Women cannot be silenced as easily now and now enjoy more freedoms so we are finally in a position to be honest about how we feel. Whereas men still haven’t adjusted to our updated status and feel a resentment that they cannot treat us the way their forefathers treated women. Social media does play a part in spreading information and allowing people to form communities which can become echo chambers further strengthening one’s beliefs. But make no mistake, this is not a new “battle”, it’s just one side has finally been allowed to yield weapons.

I agree on multiple aspects but I want to point out the mentality of “boys will be boys” is something that not only some men perpetuate but also some women. There are men who have been coddled by their mothers for example or their friends and have been given a free pass for these types of behaviors. So I will not say men are solely responsible for this situation but they do play a large role for continuing to normalizing it.

It's important to realize that cheating is not the same problem all the time. In a way it's like getting an F on a test. That's not one problem. It might be that you're a slow learner who needs a tutor. Or maybe you're actually really smart, but you have no discipline. Or maybe you're a fine student, but you're careless, so you left a section blank by accident. Those are three different problems, and each one is going to require a different approach. The same is true with cheating. You have to pay attention to the thing behind the cheating. And attack that

56:54 ehh ehh. They are currently doing research on the impact of degrading sperm as men age on the health of a baby because the number of babies that are premature May be linked to elder men having kids later in life.

The same thing happened to me in the workplace. This man had a wife and children. I didn't even know until one day I made a joke in front of another coworker about him being forever a bachelor, she dropped the bomb and I laughed it off. I don't know why but I was hurt and confused.

I read the dilemma completely different the girl assumed too much before asking questions. The guy never told her he liked her, never saw her outside of work and never even WhatsApp her he used instagram which makes me wonder if he asked for her phone number. He didn’t hide the fact he was married she never asked. She created a fantasy in her head and got upset when he said oh I’m married 😂Bless her. I would feel different if he was chasing her, calling her outside of work etc men are very deliberate when they want to date you.
