Would not have guessed Atiu is known for coffee, interesting. Nice that they did a 'luau' just for y'all. Renting mopeds sounds like fun--crab & pig traffic, haha!
They have really good coffee. The coffee likes the soil there but the island is so small that it’s hard to find their coffee. Have a good week
We have our own version of luau. Although atiuans and hawaiians are close cousins.
What a delightful video. For me, special as I lived in New Zealand for 35 odd years and had quite a number of friends and neighbours who came from the Cook Islands. The music and customs familiar to me. Great flash back. I can tell you still hold warm and fond memories of your time there. Haera Ra! 👍 🎥 🌷 🙋♀️
New Zealand is a beautiful country. Over the years we’d end up flying through Auckland to get to those South Pacific islands so I’ve spent some time in New Zealand.
