I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion, and was nodding my head in agreement with most of what you three were saying. Jamie made some very perceptive remarks about how we as individuals are what we are as a result of the times and the culture we lived in. I was a teenager in the sixties in Australia, and every Elvis film that was released here was the highlight of our year. Elvis fans are all over the world, span three generations, have different religious beliefs, different tastes in music. No wonder there are so many variations of an "Elvis Fan", and the worst thing we can do is argue among ourselves. We need to present a united front to preserve the Elvis legacy, and the EAP society does this so well.
Ryan, Pocketful of Rainbows worked a treat for my kids too when they were little. Puppet on a String was the other big fave - Take 10 from TT&F to be precise! Lol. They both love Elvis' music today as young adults. I honestly didn't indoctrinate them consciously. ha! Thank you for all that you guys do. I've made a couple of purchases based on your recommendations that I can afford. I hope to join up one day soon.
Love hearing personal recollections of becoming a fan ..thanks Ryan! Hey Jamie if you and John hook up with Those Elvis girls channel it would be great…they are 3 young very dedicated Elvis fans ( think in their 20’s) whose channel is so fun…they’ve managed to connect and interview people in Elvis’s life that I never would’ve imagined considering their channel is pretty new..think 2022. very much like EAP in that they’re preserving the legacy by interviewing these people while they’re still with us. Would be a great to see you all interact. Collaboration ! Looking fwd to see Ryan again and Justin and the elusive Gurdeep!
@@Allen-vl7zq agree with you Allen...I watched Girls Girls Girls the other night and was surprised that I enjoyed it so much. Much more so than Easy Come, Easy Go, or Double Trouble...mind you, there was one scene that only female fans love, the guys probably get a bit embarrassed
@@Allen-vl7zq Yeah, I’d say the most “slapped together” movie (in terms of being the poorest from a quality perspective) is Paradise Hawaiian Style and it’s not really close.
@@Allen-vl7zq Oh yeah. The problem with the film is that Norman Taurog had a medical issue that kept him from directing it, so his cinematographer, Michael D Moore, took over despite the fact that he'd never directed a film before. It shows. lol

Good movie that was negotiated with 1968 Singer Comeback show
Wonderfull!😀
'Girls, Girls, Girls' is perhaps the most slapped together Elvis movie.
Nah... Unfortunately, there were a handful of Elvis movies that were more slapped-together than 'Girls, Girls, Girls'
