Em HATES being admired.. But it is impossible not to admire this man. He has fucked up many times, did horrible mistakes, suffered from drug abuse and alcohol abuse, lost his best friend and his uncle,Ronnie, the only man who cared about him when he was young, he was bullied, his mother treated him like shit, his wife cheated on him.. and the list goes on and on. He had an awful life and he was strong enough to move on. He raised 3 girls. He is considered to be one of the biggest artist of all time. His music insipires tons and tons of people out there. He has a foundation. It's just, im so proud of him. When Recovery came out, and I listened to it for the first time, I cried so much. Because he finally showed his real self, because he finally stopped doing things that poisoned him. This man is the strongest man in earth, and I love him way too much. Man this song seen me thru some tough times.. Very slept on song and album. When an artist can make you feel like you wrote the song personally to tackle your own issues and what you're going thru, thats pure genius and i will always revisit this classic
This is honestly why i love EM The only one who makes music about your true feelings and pain that anyone one can relate to not pussy money weed bullshit
My favorite Eminem song. To those of us who have ever gone through an addiction, it's even more amazing. We can truly understand and relate to what he's saying. This song speaks to me so profoundly it's almost frightening.
So many different walks of life this song can apply to. Anyone who has ever struggled , dealth with pain , depression anxiety etc it's such a diverse song as far as the message as a whole. Everyone goes through ups and downs we are only human.
My opinion is that it's shit. If anything I think Em was so fucking off tempo in this that I couldn't even believe it was him when I heard it. I get he was trying to say sorry but could've done better than that.
I love how eminem only disses people when they start it. The fact that he respects Lil Wayne and Kanye enough to say that he thinks he would have his ass handed to him if he dissed him is awesome. Even though we all know Em would destroy them both if that did happen.
He's saying if he went after them all drugged up he would have had his ass handed to him.. Honestly on his worse day without saying a word nether of them could touch him.

I mean give Evil Twin to many other rap artists in the game right now and that’s easily their best (or at least most lyrical) song. But for Eminem it’s lost in the shuffle. Just shows how great of a career he’s had.
Biggest complaint I've heard is too many pop hooks and honestly the beats on that album ain't up to standard for an EM record. Lyrically though is honestly one of his best.

Let me just clear something up here alright, Eminem is one of the greatest, if not the greatest songwriter of all times. Just go and listen to his song "Lose Yourself" and pay good attention to the first bit of the song, every single word except for 1 rhymes with something, and I dont know about anybody else here but I've yet to see someone else than Eminem pull that shit off.
Marcel a bit, bro? This song not even exist in mainstream's ears... So sad, probably if Kobe had boobs it would be more famous... This track kick the ass to LTWYL!
Honestley when eminem passes away that will be the darkest day for rap, dont get me wrong tupac biggie and all of them are legends but eminem put out so many music,so many people, black white listen to him its insane,i fck with all of oldschool rap but eminem is and forever will be the GOAT and nobody can tell me otherwise, the way rhis man pulls his emotions in this is just insane
I’m sorry but not many people can ever compare to this guy man, he’s on another level that only the greatest of the greats will ever touch. The lyrics, the emotion, the realism & the passion he put into all his songs is what made Eminem who he is. No one stays on top forever, but he will never lose the title he’s made for himself over all these years.
Em is showing a grown up sense of modesty. If he had invited Kanye and Wayne to a cypher it would have been embarrassing. Kanye knows it, Wayne knows it, and most of all Em knows it. Shady is always playing chess with his opponents. Once again he won.
I have been feeling like him for the last months, deepression because my best friends dont even talk to me anymore and we hang out almost every day of the month. I have been getting jealous of their success latley. I tought they were the problem but when i listen to this song i know i have to work with my self and treat them better. Now i am going to find myself and stop living in anger and be myself like i was.

@terique mcclymont how is this even a debate lol ffs... Em is a lyrical rapper, battle rapper, has destroyed other rappers in disses. 5% of his discography dwarfs the rest out there. Just weird people force these pointless debates. Em is obsessed with Rap, he has been in it for over 3 decades... this is his thing. Sure opinions on subjective shit can be talked about in a way, but there is no reasonable debate that Em isn't the best at this shit.
Em confessing and accepting his flaws incredibly, being motivational for others...damn that's some sick shit🔥.. Listening to this from years never get tired
The most honest song from any artist out there, and they look down on it. People look down on you when your honest with your feeling. Being real gets you hated on, it's sad. Shout out too the real ones, be real, even if it means standing alone.
@@JustAPokemonCommentingOnVideos Relapse was lyrical masterpiece. The flows, rhyme schemes, and production were unbelievable .People were just turned off by the fucked up serial killer vibe and the rape lyrics. It's a much more palatable album if you approach it like a horror movie.
Im sorry but hes got me through so many tough times! I have to admire the truth he tells and the help and motivation he gives to so many! I love you i always will. Please keep going!
I just do NOT understand how anyone could dislike his music... ESPECIALLY a great & GOLDEN song like this one!!! ABSOLUTELY BAAAAFFLING!!! SMFH RIGHT NOW!!! LIIIIKE, BRUUUUH!!! Lmfaooo. Ridiculous. Straight UP RIDICULOUS!!!!
Recovery got me through a break up, helped me with confidence, and was the album that got me through so much, these songs are super personal and show so much vulnerability.
Eminem is the greatest pure lyricist of all time. He delivers his content and his message with absolute precision. Now is all of his music good? Well honestly I think there are quite a few songs that are not up to par, but 90% of his songs are pure rap genius. I have suffered from addiction. Not on his level as if I had as much money as he I would probably be dead from it, but I understand. He says Encore and Relapse were not good, and I call bullshit. Those are not his best material but definitely worthy of a listen and do not deserve the hate they get. Also he talks about dissing Lil Wayne because of his mental state and that he is glad he didnt because he would have gotten ripped and I call bullshit again. Eminem is a way better rapper than Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne has changed so much over the years and his music from a pure rap lyrical standard is garbage. Lil Wayne has lost his heart and his drive and forgot where he came from. Lil Wayne from 1998-2005 might have destroyed Eminem, but if a heavily drugged Eminem would have done a diss song during that time period he would have killed Wayne. A 50% Eminem is way better than Wayne post 2005. And I wish he would have done it. I wish Eminem would have put Wayne in his place as that might have made Wayne wake up and return to the style that put him on the map. I am glad Eminem has not changed his style, he knows what he is good at and he is no sellout. This song is without a doubt one of his finest.
+TombstoneChris I totally Agree with you. Today Rap is total shit. They talk about girls.sex, drugs, money etc. It make no sense. But still they get really good reviews and get great appreciation.
+Hetanshu Malik I call Bullshit. There is some good hip-hop/rap being made almost everyday. It might not go beast mode on lyricism but it has some lyricism to it.
Djthunder PSN lol he was being sarcastic. there's subliminal beef between him and Wayne any song they are together in they take shots at each other. Drop the world nd forever remix are prime examples
I think he meant he would’ve gotten a ton of criticism for it. Not that he wouldn’t have won the battle or wouldn’t have dissed them better than they could’ve dissed him.
still think he subliminally dissed all 3 in forever, dissed wayne in no love, dissed drake in the despicable rap, only person he hasnt had a go at is kayne probably because he is mates with jay
An Le Quy I agree in his state where he was in at that time period, and what weezy and Kanye were putting out, he wouldn't have competed. Now though, anyone who will even try will get destroyed. Em is at that level now that he doesn't even have to put anything out, but if he does it'll be fire.
Eminem is the best even better when english isnt your mother tongue i was 8 when i tought i felt this man idk shit im 21 now and as i relisten the songs over en over again i hear and feel lines i never understood or felt making each song better and better every time i listen to them (em yo ass prob will never read this but thx for the songs that kept me going trough life as it is and was and facing it like a real slim shady *stands up*

@@JustAPokemonCommentingOnVideos I'm not a big relapse fan either but it has gained a cult following and cult classic status
Relapse and recovery are good but I didn’t like MMLP2, I find it boring and forced
Please keep going!
he's so beautifully self-aware lmao i love it
Love the chorus. I can feel the emotion in this song.
I just do NOT understand how anyone could dislike his music... ESPECIALLY a great & GOLDEN song like this one!!! ABSOLUTELY BAAAAFFLING!!! SMFH RIGHT NOW!!! LIIIIKE, BRUUUUH!!! Lmfaooo. Ridiculous. Straight UP RIDICULOUS!!!!
couldn't agree more Billy
Recovery got me through a break up, helped me with confidence, and was the album that got me through so much, these songs are super personal and show so much vulnerability.
Kobe Bryants a good singer!
Lol
+Matthew Czirjak :D hahahaah u make my day
Aww :)
that's exactly what I thought when this came out lol
he is
Eminem is the greatest pure lyricist of all time.
Eminems style has changed. But he is still a dope mc.
BIG L?
🤖 👌
19 million people feel alone, you are not alone if you are here, keep fighting, thanks Em.
*Great song and Recovery is my 3rd favorite Eminem album.* 💪🏽
We love you Em!!!!
I'm replying to you just to remember to love him
Aww! Eminem called us "baby" ^_^
Shia Evans u shut
Where did he say that!?
Shia Evans right, that's it dawg, im getting my AK as we speak, ill come down with my crew, then we will see whos laughing
JUST DO IT
Just be yourself
Best rapper that has ever been in the game, he relates to a lot of people, explains the struggle, and motivates, #RESPECT
This song gave me the motivation to kick a 6 year painkiller addiction!! Eminem saved me
that one verse where Eminem admits to being on drugs and rushing out encore and relapse is the most powerful, you can tell he really means his apology
I got clean to this song. 10 years sober now 😊
@@check4v when I got sober landed a solid job and now it has allowed me to do custom work for Disney and many more companies. Love my work.
em would NOT got his ass handed
Djthunder PSN sarcasm
Djthunder PSN lol he was being sarcastic. there's subliminal beef between him and Wayne any song they are together in they take shots at each other. Drop the world nd forever remix are prime examples
when he said that he was talking about Kanye, not Wayne.
Dan Conner Kanye couldn't touch him tho..
I think he meant he would’ve gotten a ton of criticism for it. Not that he wouldn’t have won the battle or wouldn’t have dissed them better than they could’ve dissed him.
im just right here.. listening always.. thanku for continuing to share ur story u have helped me overcome allot
Eminem living legend the gretest of all time 🐐👑
u are not alone eminem ..i feel alone too :((
Forever alone
Ya got no friends
lolz...not in that way ..
Effy Stonem friends are alot though... but no one feel what struggles I am going through.
yeah in than way.. yasmeen :((
50% of me wishs em did go on kayne, wayne and drake just to see what would of happened, imo he would of bodied them all lol
still think he subliminally dissed all 3 in forever, dissed wayne in no love, dissed drake in the despicable rap, only person he hasnt had a go at is kayne probably because he is mates with jay
No doubt!
slim shady would but em had gone throught some addictions problems midlife crisis but em did go at drake but drake tapped out need shady back
An Le Quy I agree in his state where he was in at that time period, and what weezy and Kanye were putting out, he wouldn't have competed. Now though, anyone who will even try will get destroyed. Em is at that level now that he doesn't even have to put anything out, but if he does it'll be fire.
*****
his ryhmes have always been simple but clever, his flow back when he was on drugs is alot better to his flow off them.
amazinggggggg !!!!
ive been looking for this for a whole day
Em is the only rapper alive who have the balls to expose and diss himself in front of so many people, thats why he is a legend..
Like if you're still rocking this in 2015!
iSerb LOL.This song is actually pretty new according to his long career,
The song was released in 2010, so 5 years have passed. Half a decade my friend :)

I wanna say thank you for the owner of this account. I live in a hood here in Brazil and i remember i've used listen to this song over and over back when i was 13 i guess, now i'm 22, and this nostalgic feeling punched me in the time i hit the play button. I didn't remembered this song until now. Thank you man, and thank Eminem, and sorry for my not so good english, i'm training this shit
