Great spot in an area full of interesting spots. Love the carved arm chairs. Hope you got to visit the Nine Ladies and Robin Hood's Stride while you were in the area. Blessed be. 🙏
Yes I did in fact I have a short vid coming when I visit Robin hoods stride and the hermits cave. I love walking round stanton on the moors and the 9 ladies circle too. Beautiful area full of legends x
@@AdventuresWithLilu The Nine Ladies has been one of my favourite places for nearly 40 years. About the same length of time that the farmer has been telling me off for camping at the Stride.🤣 Happy travels.
Great film - and a real blast from the past for me, I used to live round there and sprained my ankle clambering over Rowtor Rocks 😂! There's so much cool stuff in that area Dol Tor, Robin Hood's stride, the Hermit's cave, Nine Stones close... atb, Andy
Wow! Thank you so much! I had a lot if fun filming, this one, and trying to add a bit of adventure to it! Glad you enjoyed it... more adventures in the coming weeks, so I hope you'll stop by again with your review 😊
I sort of grew up round this area and I've never heard of this place before! How have I missed it when I know the stone circle nearby? Very weird, thank you 😊
I hope you don't mind but happy algorithm means I am binge watching you at the moment. "Do we go in"? Of course we do, we're homo sapiens. Our curse and our deliverance. I am having so much fun watching your videos. I have put you on my list of hobbits most likekly to carry a ring to Mordor. I would sign that Gandalf but I shaved for the first time in a fortnight this morning. A wizard without a beard is either an apprentice or a charlatan. I hope you equally don't mind but I have suggested your site to my friend Peter and his wife as one they should follow. " She has a drone you know". They are avid hikers but content themselves mostly with the Downs. And why not. With best wishes. Thank you.
I am an old and trained PHD in history.. We are accustomed to speak well of those who travel unusually Madam I appreciate what you do. Really appreciate what you do. I myself am an off piste early 20th century Protestant, German, philosopher or theologian. To be honest if you could walk half a mile and advertise crisps, they'd give you a doctorate in my day. I have no doubt this will come in useful. I enjoy what you do. Thank you. I am walking with a canny lass on hills I have rarely seen. There are worse things. And stranger hills.
