    Sir great video, well explained. Sir I was about to begin my preparation for CAPM. Now what do I consider 7th edition or 6th edition.I need your guidance for my CAPM preparation

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately we do not have expertise in CAPM, as far as PMP is concern as of now more and more material coming from PMBOK 6

    Hi Sir, As you are saying that ATP will get special guidelines on what knowledge range should one PMP certification candidate should be trained. I have a silly question here. If suppose, someone have just managed a scrum team and never was in a professional capacity of project management. If that person just does not refer any PMBOK 6 or 7 or anything else and strictly just follow your sessions as the guidelines provided to you are based on PMP certification. Would that be enough to pass the certification?

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes 100% they will be enough materials in our sessions, we also have 50+ hours of pre recorded video content to clarify if someone lacks in project management fundamentals. So our videos, live classes and practice tests are more than enough to score above target in all three domains.

    hello sir,
    am preparing for my pmp exam and am rushed in time as I only have 30 days, however I have master in project management which may help. I am studying pmbok 6th and 7th as well as Rita and agile is that good enough or I must enroll in a course? as I have limited budget .

      All the best!!! In general this prepares is good. Please make sure that you do check PMI's Exam Content Outline well and take at least 3 full length mock tests based in PMI's recommended questions.

    Sir do you conduct mock exams for PMP? If yes, then can I attempt more than twice?

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We have complete PMP preparation program, which includes mock and they can be taken multiple time. As of now we do not sell just mock questions , you can find details of our program here : www.izenbridge.com/pmp/online-course/

    Do we have only PMBOK guide for 6th edition or is there any other book named PMBOK alone?? While trying to buy one it shows a lot of books, i am really confused if PMBOK and PMBOK guide is different

    Sir I need very basic information, i am planning to do the PMP course but don't have much idea ,so I should get started this from scratch and how can I get certified, is there any book which can help me to understand the fundamentals of it first ,then i can go for some courses to sharpen my knowledge

    Now exam based on pmbok7? All these days I'm preparing pmbok6

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      PMI clarifies that exam is based on PMP exam Content outline, and if someone understand PMBOK 6 well the 50% preparation is done, for rest 50% one needs to understand agile ways of working.

    Hi Sir. I wanted to take the PMP Exam in February but could not. I have read the PMBO6. I'm planning to take the exam by August end. Please suggest what should be the right pattern. Should I read again PMBO6 along with PMBOK7? OR re-reading PMBOK 6 (Focusing on Agile part) with questions bank will be enough? Please help.

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since you have given the exam, you get detailed report from PMI telling you which task areas were weak, better you make your study plan based on the weak area. Just PMBOKs are not enough. PMBOK 6 can take care of process part of the exam but for people part you need to develop PM Leadership mindset. Look for questions for the ECO Tasks and make your study plan. Its about Agile , Leadership and PMBOK.

  • @surajlingadhal3572

    So even after a year or 6months from now should one read PMBOK 6 and agile guide with PMBOK exam prep guide to clear pmp ? doesn't seem logical as why would PMI release PMBOK 7th edition if that's the case. To my guess it should eventually replace 6th edition, also in first page they have mentioned they ll have change frm process based approach to principle based and performance based.

    • @surajlingadhal3572
      @surajlingadhal3572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      and please don't say we have to read both PMBOK 6 and 7 they don't seem to compliment each other in approach and would be very hard to implement the way one must approach pmp exam questions.
      So that's y I feel 7th edition should and must replace PMBOK 6. Offcourse 7th edition should be read with PMP exam content to clear the exam. And 6th will be redundant in coming months, PMI should say at what point would that happen . As people cannot read all guides with eco and go clear exam.

      In the last 5 mins for the above video I shared my view on the PMP exam preparation approach. My recommendation remains the same, follow PMI's PMP Study Material which you get as part of your training. This you get when you take training from any PMI's Approved Education provider. PMBOK is not made for PMP exam, PMI has separate material for PMP exam.

    • @izenbridge

      As soon as you become member with PMI, paid member, which will cost you around 129 USD. you can download 6th and 7th version PDF files as part of your membership.

    If we want to start studying now and plan to give exam in Dec 2021 shall we only study pmbok 7 from now on?

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      PMBOK 7 is not designed to support PMP exam , PMI has other material called PMI Exam Prep Guide for that. That guide is available the reference you use for PMP exam preparation. Once you work with PMI's Authorized education provider, you will get this guide.

    I am working on oil and gas services. The project does not take the same shape of the PMBOK guide 6 edition. Will it be highly feasible to read the 7th edition knowing that I am already PMP?

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a good idea to read PMBOK 7 since it will give an approach to think which leads o finding your own solutions.

      Last 5 mins of the above videos are explaining the approach. PMBOK 6 alone is not sufficient now since 50% is agile & hybrid questions. Best is to work with some good training provider. We do have our program on PMP, you can check details here:

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      PMBOK Guide 6th Edition + Agile is good enough along with PMI's Preparation Material. PMBOK 7 can help in developing better understanding of how in new world project manager should think. This thinking part is already covered in PMI's Exam Prep material.
