How close is Norris to making your top 10 list? I know injuries are a big part of the reason why he's struggled and he's barely played over the past 2 seasons so it's hard to evaluate where he's at but that's similar to a couple other players on the list
Doesn't Vlasic get on this list each year? He's still got 2 years left somehow. Karlsson also makes 10m for another 3 years and that can't go well, can it?
On paper Jones’s contract is a top 3 worst contract but tbh again as a Hawks fan idrc because it literally is going to affect the team to zero extent and he’s still a very good player. Like by the time we’re up against the cap/done with the rebuild it’s gonna be up and then he should slot in as a dope #3 d man for us behind Lesh and Korch, hopefully at a discount too considering he’ll be older/have made his money. So I’m actually hyped to have him as a Hawks fan atm
Tim Wilson being a captain makes me want to puke. The couturier signing was a combination of bad foresight and bad timing. Coming off a selke and kept growing offensively…then had a bunch of back injuries that might plague him for the rest of his career. But that length and AAV was a bit brutal for his age. Flyers also have Ryan ellis for the next 4y (plus the last 3) at 6.25 per…he played 4 really good games before his career ending injury. Thank god for the LTIR
@@MikeBartner Def a deserved rating now though on your list. I hope he gets back to 2020 level, but expect average maybe even below avg 2nd line center..
How is Gallagher not here but ANDERSON is??? Recentsy bias. Anderson still is a 20+ Goal 30-40 point power forward who was just very unlucky this year with his shooting. And you get major physicality from him. Gallagher isnt really close to that offense no more with less physicality, more money and just more leadership as his #1 Trait

But he and Logan Couture are like the only players left from the 2010/2011 Conference Finals and maybe the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals as well. They are like the Sharks' version of Kopitar and Doughty in a way, but probably a little weaker than those two
@@jameskingscomicsandenterta3504 a LITTLE WEAKER than those 2. Gee bro, that might be the understatement of the year on a NHL take. Vlasic as well as Logan are near the end of their rope. Vlasic could easily be a 7th dman at this point, and Couture had some great years but is just a walking injury now a days. Kopitar is still a top 6 guy and plays a great 2 way game while adding close enough to a point per game. Doughty is still top pairing and will still run the Kings PP this upcoming season unless Clarke goes nuts.
@@aronbrown9411 Kopi and Doughty can definitely carry a team on their own. I don’t really watch the Sharks as much as the Kings, so I may not have as much knowledge on Vlasic and Couture as Kopi and Doughty- perhaps they needed the Joes and Patrick Marleau to carry them. But as players that made it through the prime of the team, and that management chose to not trade them after all these years, I believe they should probably be at least a little better than the newer players in the Sharks

Very biased Jackets fan here. Gaudreau is definitely overpaid, but he needs talent around him. If you watched him all season you could tell he definitely had a down year, but you can tell he still plays very well, he just hasn't had any consistent line mates or anyone good enough to match with him really. Also how is Gaudreau above PLD.
Sorokin will be on here next season
no way
Lmfaoooooo chill chill
@@MikeBartner he’s speaking facts
He won't. Top 5 goalie in NHL and world
As a canucks fan, its refreshing to not see them on worst contract lists
Crazy how just a few years ago Huberdeau was an 100+ pt winger being projected in team Canada’s top 6. Really hope he finds some form.

He just doesn’t play bc he’s always hurt. So paying him 7.5 mil is crazy for a player that’s always hurt.
It depends if he can't stay healthy again/doesn't return to prior form then he'd be on this next time
Spot on. Honorable mention could be Burakovsky with Seattle: 3 more years at $5.5M
Oof, that's an awful one that gets forgotten
He's just gotta stay healthy I think he can bounce back and be a 4-5 mill player
You don’t think Andre Burakovsky is a 5.5 million dollar player?
49 games, 7 goals, 5.5M - uh, no
That's not bad
Honorable mention to Ondrej Palat as well
Yea that's a solid pick he'd be 11-20 probably
Same with his ol buddy Killorn.
Love this channel keep up the good work bro
Thanks!
Friggin Love ya Bartner. Unreal Channel keep er rollin!! Do a video on the Tampa Bay Lightning

Karlsson also makes 10m for another 3 years and that can't go well, can it?
I get Vlasics contract is terrible, but at the end of the day it still helps the Sharks get to the top floor. On a competitive team, that changes.
It happens so much 😂 so many bad contracts

Yea that's fair when you factor in team it's not that bad, just was looking at the player and contract in this though.
@@MikeBartner oh ya no I get that. Just happy we aren’t the Oilers in a pretty similar situation with Nurse in their best years to win
Brady Skjei should be there
Oooooo decent pick

1 Nurse 💯
2 Skjei
3 Huberdeau
4 Jones
5 Gaudreau
6 Stephenson
7 Dubois
8 Couturier
9 Anderson
10 Krug
Much better than the athletics
Thank you!
I would take Nurse over Seth Jones and Gaudreau. Just saying
Honestly I’m surprised Gallagher isn’t on this list
Could put him instead of Anderson
It's not 10 Worst Level, but Rickard Rakell is low-key pretty putrid (5 Mil * 4 years left), plus he's already 31
That's a solid pick, I think he may turn it around
As a flames fan Huberdeau is too low
HAHAAHAHAHA
😂 pretty much 1 million dollars per goal
I'd rather have Nurse than Jones. At least he can play a better physical game, but 2 or 3 , I guess it doesn't really matter.
How is Tavares not top 3?
Not having Gallagher on this list makes any sense I love this channel but Gallagher should be there

Too early for Couts to be on here yet. He could bounce back a bit and score 55 poinys
How is Daniel Sprong not on the list???
Because his contract is a steal
Lmao what? He makes like 900k for 1 year. That’s a steal for a back to back 20 goal guy lol
Josh Anderson in the best two way d-man in the world
Amen

Huberdeau is so lucky he gets to sit on the bench and make 10.5 mil
Jeff Skinner.
