@@PrettyWell - the bible is totally wrong. It incorrectly refers to Nigella sativa as 'black cumin'. If you look at cumin and compare it to black seed, then you will see that cumin looks nothing like black seed. I will tell you why. It is because they do not belong to the same family. Ask any botanist. I am aware of these bible verses referring to 'black cumin' and there is nothing in these verses which states the medicinal properties of 'Habaa Sawdaa' and 'Habaat Al Baraka' (Arabic names for Nigella sativa). Instead, those bible verses just mention different types of crops to harvest. That is it. Conversely, there are a vast number of scriptures in Islamic medicine which details the medicinal properties and uses for black seed (including Ibn Taymiyah's book of 811 medicines).

@@billmartin5890 You would be correct with some of the products being sold today. But there are many plant based food sources such as herbs which are effective in helping to relieve many symptoms of which some doctors "have no clue" what may be the cause of. Doctors prescribe medication which offer temporary relief of many symptoms but which also cause many negative side effects. In fact, there are publicly accessible reports of prescription drugs which have had to be recalled after they had been approved for human use for causing severe health complications and even death, and which resulted in million dollar settlements to the victims and their families. I'm of the belief that when in doubt, always trust mother nature first. When nature doesn't provide the best result, then one should seek out medical attention, but not exclusively for one's own relief and recovery, and usually best in emergency cases.

    Thanks Dr. Kim...
Took my first tsp 3 hours ago so I haven't any healing anecdotes yet but I'm very hopeful. I CAN comment on the taste, though. Tastes just like turpentine smells.
Just don't breath through your nose for 30 to 60 seconds during or after taking it. By then, the aftertaste has pretty much disappeared. Small price to pay if it does even 10% of the healing it claims. Excited for my second tsp before bed.

A few years ago I started having some rather intense digestive issues. It was chronic. Every day was the same. About a year ago I started adding two teaspoons a day of Black seed oil into my daily routine. The problems went away almost overnight! Since then I have started adding about 4 drops of oregano oil to the black seed dosages, and have been pretty much cold free, and sickness free since then!

Bahtshebah Yisrael please don't put it on your juice it taste is extremly strongggg. Black seed will make your drink taste like black seed. I would say chase it with juice. I chase mine with raw apple cider vinegar or raw cranberry juice. The bitter taste help get rid of the taste of black seed. Lol. Enjoy hun

I've been taking Black Seed Oil for about one year, and I have noticed a huge improvement with my allergies and joint pain, and Hashimoto symptom relief. This morning I thought I'd mix with it in with my smoothie, rather than taking it by teaspoon (like medicine) as usual, and this was a HUGE mistake for me, Uggh, lol! I ruined the flavor of my smoothie, but I tried to save it with cinnamon (which helped a bit) and drank it anyway, because I did't want to waste the other beneficial ingredients by dumping it down the drain. For me, it's better to take Black Seed Oil as medicine, then quickly eat or drink something else to take the taste away. :)

I take mine with green tea it kills the kerosene taste the second cup as we all usually have from one teabag still has the benefits. I have noticed my eye sight better I had itchy dry skin from winter weather a little in bath water cured that moisturize with it for face and hair has helped with 10 yrs chronic pain.
