I knew Dennis had a bit of an anger issue. For months when I watched his videos, I found his constant mentioning, insulting, berating of Keemstar to be a little uncomfortable. Not because I disagreed with what he said about Keem, (I highly dislike Keemstar) but because the way Dennis went about it wasn’t entertaining or funny. It felt like I was watching a man have a mental breakdown and I was forced to be some bystander/therapist. After a few months of back-to-back videos where any mention of Keemstar lead to Dennis bringing up Twitter and then going on a 5-10 minute rant that took up half of the video over something that was imo not newsworthy, I checked out. At worst I thought Dennis had a really bad problem with holding grudges and not being able to contain his emotions publicly in regard to that. But this? After seeing this it is very clear that Dennis just has some very deeprooted anger issues and is not at all equipped to have a large audience watching him, let alone an audience that he garnered through placating to cancel/twitter culture. I honestly think he needs a permanent break from the DefNoodles channel, and indefinite break from the internet in its entirety. He needs to see a therapist for his anger problems, find healthy coping mechanisms that work for him, gather himself and then he can decide for himself what he’d like to make of his life/career. Personally, I don’t think he has a sustainable life/career with DefNoodles, simply because when someone has a breakdown to this stature online, whatever community they’re apart of will just fuel that. And it’s clear the community he created has just allowed him to be the worst possible version of himself he can be. It’s annoying and infuriating, but mostly just sad.

Sue him for what? If it’s defamation you’re doing to have to prove damages, you haven’t lost subs or money over this. That’s one of the reasons Def’s lawsuit isn’t going to go anywhere with Keem, during that time he was gaining subs. I think the best avenue is a restraining order for harassment if you want anything done.
Because of the way the Def is so clearly and actively trying to affect Papa Gut and his reputation Papa can at least team up with Keemstar and actually get Def’s play button taken from him, and at this point he has every right. A cease and decist might be a good idea.

Drama channels thrive off of beef between creators and that's what he thinks he needs to survive. Unfortunately for him, when you take a look at Papa Gut's videos you see a completely rational person that thoughtfully breaks down situations and stands up for survivors. You quickly see that a drama channel is going after a smaller channel that is trying to make a difference with the platform they've grown and it looks terrible for Def. My recommendation would be to no longer give the guy the attention he clearly is desperately seeking. You can say your piece as needed, but without directly engaging with him on twitter etc. And no matter what, always keep your calm like you usually do, otherwise he'll feed off your emotions cause he has nothing else to use. That’s one of the reasons Def’s lawsuit isn’t going to go anywhere with Keem, during that time he was gaining subs. Drama channels thrive off of beef between creators and that's what he thinks he needs to survive. Unfortunately for him, when you take a look at Papa Gut's videos you see a completely rational person that thoughtfully breaks down situations and stands up for survivors. You quickly see that a drama channel is going after a smaller channel that is trying to make a difference with the platform they've grown and it looks terrible for Def.
The original "debate" between Papa and Def was very eye opening and the fact that Def didn't lean from it is disappointing. I've never seen him as a comedian and in the two years I've watched him, I've never laughed once.

My recommendation would be to no longer give the guy the attention he clearly is desperately seeking. You can say your piece as needed, but without directly engaging with him on twitter etc. And no matter what, always keep your calm like you usually do, otherwise he'll feed off your emotions cause he has nothing else to use.
