Thank you so much, this was incredibly helpful! My fiance and I just bought our first RV and Hanna park will be our first time using it. We live in the area but this helped us pick the perfect spot to have some privacy trying to back up and set up for our first night .
Just remember greenery can change over time. This campground last time we went had pot holes and limbs that needed trimming. But a short walk to the beach, the lake, trails is worth it. Enjoy. And make sure to share with your RV friends 🤗

@@BrittneyyT we went two weeks ago in row B and they were plenty of dogs around. Such a great campground especially for the price you pay. We are planning to go back for Father’s Day. Spring break in March filled up with the quickness lol.

Be sure to check on website for slideouts, some will accommodate one or none. Also it will tell if site is level. Just poke the campsite for info. This is a great campground, we love it. Also close to Mayo Clinic which is how we ended up here. I may be wrong but it won’t show available if not available for all days you want so it doesn’t show flexibility but if you call campground they are very helpful.

I have a 10x6 custom V bike trailer and a truck tent for my Ram1500 Sport Crew Cab which is very comfortable to sleep in and for those very hot day I could sleep in my bike trailer which has a overhead AC and 43" Flatscreen. The closest dirt bike track that I know of is in palm coast about 40 min away. If you want to trail ride I would heat to the Ocala National forest, lots of trails and forest roads but the bike must have a tag, hope that helps. Larry

We would love to try this place and have family that loves this place. But they are letting trees overgrow the roads and it's very hard to drive in sometimes not to mention some sites are really tight. It's great to have access to this video to select a suitable site. I was so close to booking till i saw their booking policy.... No refunds at all and must be paid all to front. Really bad policy when Disney Fort wilderness, state parks and then national parks have a cancellation policy. Thanks again for this video.

Quick question... I have a site reserved for 35'. We were going to tent camp next to friends but decided to rent an RV. The RV is 35.4. Will they make a fuss about that or should I move to an accommodating site? PS it's not about the extra money. It's about planning all year long to be next door to friends. At this point I would rather rent smaller to be next door.
It’s not about how the site is labeled. They won’t notice. Just look at that site on the video because we had one site that was a tight squeeze for our 35’ and Larry is a great parker. Then we had another site with lots of room. Last time we were there, they didn’t trim. I’d be more concerned with how wide you are. Is this a Class A,B,C or are you towing?

We camp there often. We have the month of February and May booked for the month. We are local. So we setup. And stay a few nights. And then go home for a day or two. And then go back. I bok way in advanced. So I get to choose the sites we want.
For the holidays, we want pretty specific parks to be near our kids. So we booked 11 months out. But we also grab cancellations sometimes a week before the reservation date. It’s gotten harder and harder to get in Florida state parks. Alice

@@RicG. I was asking if it's directly on the beach like once you walk right out of there is on the beach I live in Daytona Beach and yeah it's huge and you could have to walk 8 miles to get to the beach and still live in Daytona Beach so the name does not tell me anything.
Hey Gail, the best feature of the Park is that it is on 1.5 mile of beautiful Florida beaches. The campground is about a 5 min walk to the beach. There are no sites with an ocean view, the campground is back in the woods. It is great to get up every morning and take the dogs for a walk on this awesome beach.

That’s interesting that they allow booking a month and leaving the RV unattended.
