Just picked up one on sale at BB for 399.00. Hope the sell the new self emptying base separately soon. Set up was seamless with the app. Did a mapping run before the first clean. I have a Peleton bike on a rubber mat in my living room. That was the only area that gave it trouble on the first clean. I have hardwood floors and one area rug in my living room. It did a great job on the floors and the edges cleaning is perfect. The rug could have used another pass. Really glad it doesn’t have the llidar bump on top. It was able to fit under locally my furniture. Took a few minutes to get the dividers on all my rooms. Pretty easy to set the no go and clean zones. I took 32 minutes to clean my whole apartment. The bin was full but I had dust bunnies under my bed. Happy with this one. Mapping, no go zones and excellent edge cleaning make up for any negatives.

It mapped everything out great, and while setting it up I used the mapping run with a decluttered house, and it did it flawlessly. I have no complaints!
I really don’t understand how iRobot gets goods reviews considering the price and the competition. I had it, and I’ve hated the noise level, and the navigation, not to mention it is the only robot that my dog was scared of. I had roborocks, Xiaomi, and finally a Dreame. I’m keeping the dreame, which cost the same, but does a lot more, in a more capable way.
What about the iRobot Roomba j6+ ? are these the same? iRobot Roomba j6+ is 50% off on amazon and want to know. I cant find anything online about the differences. HELP! ha
my J7 plus is not showing obstacles in the app after a run, in the area that they should appear it says "something went wrong" I have rebooted several times as well as doing 3 factory resets to no avail, any ideas?
I would contact iRobot directly. If their customer service can't help you fix the problem, they will be able to repair or replace the robot if it's still under warranty - which it should be since it comes with a one year warranty and it's still less than a year since the robot's release.
All relevant comments but you failed to show how to change the rollers - it is easy to get the 1st one in, then when the second one goes in, it is impossible to get it to lie flat. Makes the whole value of a robot pointless.

Maybe standup and either use a broom or a Dyson; five minutes later. Done
Basically like most Roomba's. besides the S9, they are useless without the dual brush.
