I would suggest a Simulator if it's your first drone. It will save you time and money. Hope it goes well, enjoy! It is a great hobby! If you haven't spent yet. I would suggest Iflight Nazgul5 v2. Flies great, and super durable. Props out!

I remember 3 years ago when I discovered your channel, there was already a lot of clutter in the background. now you have to build a studio in the garden soon. Or you can let Colin Furze build you an underground tunnel. 👍😀
6:23 - I've been told it has to do with the way the drone is balanced. The center of mass is too high, and so if you get it in the right conditions, it tumbles. Someone said shifting the center of mass downward by attaching a weight to the bottom of it helps, but I have no actual experience with it. The only DJI drone I've ever had hands on is a Mini 1.

Terrific recap Steve. I have really enjoyed your videos over the past few years, and I have learned so much about the incredible world of RC vehicles as well as prosumer cameras. I started with many less expensive drones, then a Tello, Mavic Mini, Mini 2, Mavic Air, Hubsan Zino Mini SE and finally the Mini 3 Pro fly more plus kit. I am in love with the world of drones! I started to open the small envelope and spied some red & black colors. My mind went to Captain Drone stickers. I got the CAPTAIN DRONE stickers today. They are very nice and well worth the cost ;). Thank you. The content in your videos is incredibly helpful. I currently have the Fimi x8se 2020. Once I get my part 107 license, I will most likely upgrade to the 2022 v2 with the tx 10 controller. Thanks for the help and keep flying.
I bought an Inspire 2 X5S kit a few years ago for wedding filming. I used it twice because it took 10 mins to set up and 10 mins to pack down and was too big for the boot of the car with all my other gear. I use the DJI Mini Mavics now. Perfect for everything I need and takes less than 1 minute to be out the box and in the air.
A lot of great stuff, but I really enjoyed watching the Coast Guard helicopter? That's an awesome one. The sound, the looks? Truly a great looking helicopter. Thanks for sharing Steve. Till the next video, see you then. 👍👍👍

Ha ha, thanks. In the FPV hobby, there are not many pilots out there that are overly ANAL about one brand unless they are under the age of 25 (kid mentality). Now in the GPS Camera Drone hobby, people are very much in the DJI Camp against everyone else.

In 2022 I did not review any new RC Boats. I reviewed lots of RC Trucks/Cars and many were great. My favorite was the one shown in the video, the ARRMA Fireteam.
This video is an awesome review of the products of 2022 that you use but you missed one product that you use in your videos and that is your video editing software.
Absolutely awesome video I fly helis and airplanes I love and have the fw450 and the whole eachine line up and the whole E-flight line up for planes so much fun all my planes I are connected to the nx8 love it. Again awesome video 👍👍👍👍👍

I can only buy budget drones as of the moment, and I'm torn between Bugs 18 pro, SJRC F11s, and KF101 Max. All three have 3km range. Which one should I get?

Recently I bought the Mini 3 apro, wanted thevMatrice 30T but can’t afford or need it. Settled on the Mavic 3 classic. Was thinking of selling the FPV but I still love it but I’m not real active besides I’m in a wheelchair. I can’t find anyone to fly with. I am currently studying for Part 107. ‘Thanks
Hi Steve. Thanks for the 2022 recap. I want to get into the drone hobby but have a fear that I’d be sued for crashing into someone’s car or house or what ever. Do you have Drone Flight Insurance, and if I might also ask, have you ever been glad you did? Then there is the U.S. FAA license I’d be required to get, as I’d hope to make a little coin from my drone photos. I’ve watch many of your videos and don’t recall any that mention the insurance options to pay per flight or pay for a year of coverage, or address any new rules.
I’m in Canada and insurance is only available if you are a commercial drone operator. GPS camera Drones are very safe which is why you don’t hear weekly news stories of drones damaging personal property.
When I shoot videos, I use all kinds of cameras and drones. If the drone can be seen in the video, then I point it out. I think I’d need an assistant to keep track of everything I use for each vid and write it down.

Hubsan Drones are no longer sold in North America (EXO Drones now sells them under the EXO drones brand name).

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'll be 55 in August, fly my first-edition Mavic Mini, ride my Mongoose Juneau Fat Bike, have a gaming PC, and play electric football.There is a kid up the street here in Dallas that has one haha. I am jealous, as I have been looking at them for a couple years or so hahaha.I love the fact that they are all-terrain!

I can only buy budget drones as of the moment, and I'm torn between Bugs 18 pro, SJRC F11s, and KF101 Max. All three have 3km range. Which one should I get?

I easily spend ten to twenty grand per year. But I also sell much of my items so that I can continue to buy newer items.

Recently I bought the Mini 3 apro, wanted thevMatrice 30T but can’t afford or need it. Settled on the Mavic 3 classic.
Was thinking of selling the FPV but I still love it but I’m not real active besides I’m in a wheelchair. I can’t find anyone to fly with. I am currently studying for Part 107. ‘Thanks

Hi Steve. Thanks for the 2022 recap. I want to get into the drone hobby but have a fear that I’d be sued for crashing into someone’s car or house or what ever. Do you have Drone Flight Insurance, and if I might also ask, have you ever been glad you did? Then there is the U.S. FAA license I’d be required to get, as I’d hope to make a little coin from my drone photos. I’ve watch many of your videos and don’t recall any that mention the insurance options to pay per flight or pay for a year of coverage, or address any new rules.
I’m in Canada and insurance is only available if you are a commercial drone operator. GPS camera Drones are very safe which is why you don’t hear weekly news stories of drones damaging personal property.

When I shoot videos, I use all kinds of cameras and drones. If the drone can be seen in the video, then I point it out. I think I’d need an assistant to keep track of everything I use for each vid and write it down.
