True. And also, even though it says alert, it should still have a yellow strobe so ppl don’t get confused. Also, at the Philadelphia airport, there are simplex truealert combination strobes. The fire strobe is on the bottom, and the alert strobe is on the top. The fire strobe is clear, and the alert strobe is yellow.
Exactly and thats how the voice should sound like not like those other alarms that sound like toys from China. A emergency alarm should sound intense and stressed because well its a real emergency.
And what I mean by pull station or pull stations, it’s the pull thing for the alarm. So that’s good to know. There are also push stations where you push them to sound the alarm.
Nice to see Simplex is taking the danger of carbon monoxide into account as well as fire, (their panels would have to have a CO zone type and a CO message for you to be able to do this, same for the smoke detector having a CO sensor) can't say I've ever seen a Truealert speaker/strobe with "ALERT" lettering though.
The woman you hear at the airport is the same woman who does the NYC subway announcements. She also does code blue alarms at some hospitals. th-cam.com/video/wQUOSXhZUUs/w-d-xo.html
Is this the same building that you did the dark video on? You mentioned you did test the CO detectors in either the description or the comments section of the video
I think they should've played the real CO code 4 on the household detectors and alarms that come with it instead of whatever the heck kind of signal that was.
it probably has different signals for different problems, so what if it sounds odd, it has a message telling you what it means, It would certainly get my attention.
Or if the pull station was yellow and the alarm was blue, or if the pull station was yellow and so was the alarm, or, if the pull station was blue and the alarm device was blue.

I think it's going to be had for him to find a building that has all of its electromechanical horns intact. Sadly they have moving parts and they wear and as other fire alarm techs have stated they don't get reconditioned they usually get replaced. Brettman has a video on here of a fire alarm inspection at a high school where 90% of the horns are electromechanical but the dead ones in the auditorium were replaced with EST Genesis horn strobes and one of the horns in the hallway was replaced with a SpectrAlert Advance.
Riding a elevator during a co emergency can be dangerous because carbon monoxide is odorless and tastless and unseenable gas which is called the silent killer and riding a elevator during co situation can kill people in the elevator because there might be co inside of the elevator
This one is Non-Fire Activation, The Speakers Have the "Alert" Label on them because They are not Just Used for Fires, Its used for Mass Notification also(I.e, Severe Weather Alerts, Fire Alarm Activation, CO Messages - Seen here, and Lockdown Emergencies.).
When it makes that alert sound it supposed to do a 520 hz *PIP PIP PIP PIP* sound like other low frequency Sounders that does a 520 hz carbon monoxide warning sound that basically that we was not expecting.
If that’s going to be a co alarm then wouldn’t it be cool if the pull station or pull stations were blue and the alarm device was blue? That would actually make sense. Because a red pull station or pull stations and a red alarm device was red for carbon monoxide well usually that kind of stuff would be fore fire. But if it’s going to be a carbon monoxide alarm, then it makes sense for it to be blue so it’s not really for a fire.
May I have your attention please? May I have your attention please? Will the real Slim Shady please stand up? I repeat, will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
When she says “Detected in the building!” She sounds urgent.
A really good message. However the simplex speaker strobe should use a yellow strobe for alert, just a thought.

th-cam.com/video/6d69V-xC-yw/w-d-xo.html
As you can see, in that video that I posted in that last reply, that is the combination strobe I’m talking abt.
I have one on Roblox where the speaker strobe is on an alert strobe plate to make it a combo. I haven’t seen one in real life tho. :/
The system probably pulls double duty as a fire alarm too so the strobes have to be clear
That woman’s voice is enough to put absolute fear into anyone
