Thank for the Info, What do i need to replace in order for the Reverse to be as fast and responsive as Foward? Thats the only thing i dont like about this truck so far, Reverse is too sluggish when it comes to doing jumps and Flips…
I have a brand new hyper go 14th scale and shame issues all over YT so they have shipped it with dumbo tx but still the same delay and janky steering. This should work just the same on the hyper go 14209 ?
changed my receiver as well, but it's a different model than yours. Still, i went into a shop to buy it and the guy changed it for me on the spot. He told me that it's gonna work standard (without other functions such as switching the lights on/off) until we find the ESC manual so we can calibrate it to the new receiver. So let's spam MJX for a manual or a tutorial on how to configure their E45A ESC so we can get our lights working, brother
Can you please measure the opening length of your steering linkage arms? Just received my hyper go and seems to be too much toe out. But the manual doesn't have the default measurements. Thank you!
With the OE radio it cogs at low speed and as soon as you try to get past that it goes too fast, there is no smooth progression to full speed. Replacing the OE receiver asap with a Dumbo X6FG receiver.
I put the wheel extension adapter on mine..made a huge difference. I had to drill the wheel to 6mm and the brass nut in the kit that goes inside wheel and against axel I drilled to 6mm fit perfectly
Hey i started with the brush mjx with the gps but that remote works way better idk y they didnt just keep selling that remote with the bl models cause u just have to bind it to bl but once in awsile ill use the lil remote but ya it sucks if u switch the red wire with the signal wire for lights then it will work with the remote👍
You need a new transmitter. But you should be fine for now. I am happy to here this your first rc car. My first rc was only brushed not brushless so your on a great start. It's around $35 to get a new transmitter but after that you will be doing great because that rc truck is built to last
Ok this receiver/controller has some kool features the old one doesn’t but I had to switch back. Backing up only works good in the reverse setting but still sometimes doesn’t work so I had to flick it a bunch of times and even when it does respond it’s very slow even in the high setting. And my biggest issues was I lost speed, with the old one I needed the wheelie bar and old ladies were impressed 😂 but the new one gets chased by toddlers. 😅 I still like it and will use it to trick people who wants to race me.
You can use the transmitter in the video it's sold on Amazon. Remember every transmitter can be used with any RC car and every transmitter comes with its own receiver but you have to pair it to the transmitter yourself and it's not hard at all you just need to follow the directions provided in the box. So you could buy any transmitter you like and it will come with a receiver
Love your videos. Thank you! I have the same RC coming this week. Can you direct me/us on a good upgrade transmitter? The link you had posted is no longer available..
HYPER GO H16BM 1:16 4X4 RTR Brushless HELP!!!! I bought this car for my husband, but ordered the wrong batteries. Could you please tell me what batteries he needs to get. I purchased the Zeee 3S Lipo Battery 2200mAh 11.1V 50C Shorty Pack Battery with Deans Plug for RC Car Truck, but the piece to lock the battery in is not large enough. What size does he need to order. Any help would be deeply appreciated!
Remember everything about RC-ing is difficult very difficult because you have know how to solder a new connection like did you can't just order a battery with everything your looking for. They sell a 3s for this rc but you have to put time into looking for it
Hello again, I ordered the same transmitter/receiver as yours. I can't get the transmitter and receiver to communicate with each other. I couldn't quite understand the procedure in the manual. Can you share how you were able to get your's to function?
Put the binding plug in channel 3 then put the ESC in channel 2 you will see the Receiver blinking then hold the bind button down Well turning on the transmitter and they will connect. After put the servo in channel 1 and put the lights in channel 3
I followed your instructions to the T and it connected/worked perfectly! Thank you again for your videos and advice. Being new to the RC game I appreciate your guidance 😎
Connect the receiver as if you already have it paired. Then put the binding plug that came with the transmitter in channel 3... Put servo in channel 1 and the ESC in channel 2 turn on the RC and when you turn on the transmitter hold the bind button on top of the transmitter and we'll holding the bind button down turn on the transmitter and it will pair. Then put the light in channel 3 and done
I don't know what transmitter and receiver you have. But it should come with instructions and a bind plug so you have to read your instructions. If you still don't understand how to just look up what transmitter you have on TH-cam someone should have a video on how to
You should not need to calibrate the esc to the new trasmitter. JUst make sure that the throttle is at nutral when you turn on the car and it should be fine. Im using a higher end FLYSKY NB2 with mine and its perfect. With the NB2 you can also adjust steering curve or ad a mix so that the faster the car goes the tamer the steering becomes. The car is amazing and the stock radio is horrible......It deserves a quality transmitter to unlock its full potential.
If yours is all in one then it's Definitely not this rc so if you want to upgrade then you must change out EVERYTHING so you need a independent ESC and servo and Transmitter and receiver so that's a lot to buy
Hey I started following you a couple years ago with the Losi mini b. Love the videos good detailed content.
Thank you I really appreciate you saying those kind words

I will when I get home from work.... But try to tighten the linkage or untighting
Can you tell me if i need a new esc, or did you just changed the receever and it fits to the stock esc?
Yes the esc will work fine if you bought a new transformer. But only for the brushless version

Radiolink makes a great inexpensive tx/rx. Rcgs3 is mint. A better rx will fix the twitching

The ESC is crap, best to swap it out. I put in a Quicrun 30a ESC and it's response is waaayyyy better

You hold the bind button down well you turn on the transmitter
As soon as it binds the light on the receiver will stop blinking. Then take out the bind plug
Good thing I checked here because I bought the same transmitter and thought it would be a simple connection. Thanks!
You didn't have to change the transmitter there is a adjustment nob turn it down all the way
Amazon have them?
Yes
It has all metal gears in the drive train no plastic
Yes because it's the brushless version also shows it on the box and in the Amazon add

😂🤣I’m over here trying to master the horrible steering on this RC car. But it is way to fast for the quick steering and yeah that lag sucks.
How come mine the steering is now making it go and the throttle is steering
Remember servo is ALWAYS CHANNEL 1 then the ESC is channel 2 just change them and problem solving
Switch your cables on esc. You put motor on channel 1 and servo on 2. It should servo on ch1 and motor on ch2

On the new version on mjx 16208 i have throttle trim an the lag it’s gone
