What are your top 3?!? I want to know!
Custom Fx, masters, and ergos...in no particular order. Still love the seniors, JRL, magic clips, and cordless fast feeds. I just feel the others are more all around clippers that have the power to debulk and fade really well. Did just order the instinct though so we'll see about those.
Also I would love to get those rebels from recommendation from you and you told me that they are twice greater than the Alfa I have been using and those are on my list now as well.
Still loving those sabers and I only used them for a day and that was my best experience they were able to keep up with my fading hands and lay down cuts like they were made for me and I told the guy that I wish I could get them all for my self LOL I am broke and I’m all paid off with school only 15 more $ I would have to pay to schedule my exam once I get that email from DOS

not to be a hypebeast but im really loving the instinct, love the gold faper blade. I got so used to the weight and power i cant go back to anything else might even double up so when im using one the other is charging but things have been dropping like crazy so i might hold off super happy the game has evolved from magic clips really you cant go wrong with anything nowadays its whatever your comfortable with all these options are GREAT.

my JRL's are my Go-Tos for flat tops! ...the blades absolutely refuse to get hot & u can hold em like a giant pencil! perfect for flat tops or similar cuts... absolutely love em! ...& while i wouldnt reccomend the wahl staggertooth blade for flat tops, u can swap the beloved wahl magic clip staggered tooth cuting blade on em for some great fades... thanx man

Absolute Alfa is my go to the Swiss Army knife clipper 😅 ❤it and does not die and drills through everything and does everything else any other clipper can do and I always grab them before any other clipper I have and switch up only to debulk and they even do that just to not use 1machine for everything I pick up my gold magic clip I would love to have a big selection like you do it’s not my time and it will be one day and your content is inspiring and educational for our industry and me ❤it 😅 would like to see you in an expo one day.

Ah man you’re gonna be hype!
Instinct is cool but super different shape. Boosted is that traditional shape as a magic clip or senior but supercharged!
@@Seancutshair it says the Rebel comes with the Faper blade, but the Boosted comes with a Fade blade. Since I don't want to be buying multiple things, is a fade blade vs faper blade a deal changer? Same thought with the SC Saber, I was leaning towards the Rebel over the Saber mainly because it comes with that Faper blade, but if it didn't have that, I liked the Saber's quietness and longer battery. tough choices in a really competitive market!

JRL’s 4 hour run time is unmatched. Not to mention so quiet. Blades are elite, Perfect weight also. Nothing compares bro. Especially not those old noisy seniors or bulky heavy babyliss FX 😂 good vid bro 💯

The JRL definitely can't debulk like a senior or rebel. They are great for fading and they are I think the quietest in the collection. Don't sleep on the seniors though because barbers with seniors have probably had the same clipper for YEARS and I will say my FX clipper fades just as good as the 2020c but also debulks better imo

Im still dealing with the power switch problem of the Rebels, im from Mexico and everytime that the switch brokes i have to ordered to a friends house on the US, and be paying 30 dlls for just a switch+shipping just for a switch its to much considering that we charge 8dlls per cut.🫠
I am now just looking into influencer clippers. Got spme corded Fast Feeds some years ago recommended for thick coarse hair. Ceramic blades and magnetic guards. Sure beats the $20 Wahl clips I kept rebuying for a decade and a half

The top two are both skeletons so easy to get to the blade to clean and don’t have to take it apart

I am just starting and I wanted to ask which clipper should I buy ? I deciding between frsh fade JRL 2020c , Babyliss low pro and Stylecraft rebel. I heard a lot of people that complain about the switch click and about the guards of rebel. So which would you recommend?
Rebel is definitely my favorite of the three but some people think it’s too loud. Then the lo pro. JRL last based on the shape.
What do you think of the caliber 9mm? I feel like it is better then the magic clip for way cheaper.
Never used it. Don’t know anybody that uses caliber so never really even held one

Compliments as in go with the rebel? No need for any really but maybe the instinct for the vector motors help with bulk 🤷🏻♂️ rebel does it all though

Hey Sean, I’m in barber school in Iceland and will work in a shop in a few months, I only have some cheap no brand clipper and trimmer I bought on Amazon and I need to replace them for some solid ones, I was wanting to get Rebel clipper and Saber trimmer but they are out of stock until march and I need to get some asap to start learning on, can you recommend me clipper and trimmer that are solid and good to learn on? budget does not matter, just want something solid.
Dang that’s rough. For a trimmer my other go to is definitely any of the Babyliss skeletons. They’re all pretty much the same with minor differences in the blades. Clipper wise I think maybe the gamma x ergo is what I would recommend. Definitely sucks you can’t get the rebel or boosted thiugh

I’d much rather use the fx but the magic clip is more standard size. Lots of people think the fx is hard to get used to

Hi Sean, what would you recommend me for a beard? My barbed told me that I should go for a clipper because it's thick and my hair has strong root. I don't let it grow too much, maybe to 1cm max sometimes when I am home for a longer period, but I cut it to 3mm, and some parts to 1.5 or 2.5. But I don't know if I should buy both clipper and trimmer or if I can do everything with a clipper, and which blade would be best...Or maybe I need only a trimmer? (lot of questions I have xD).
I don't make style lines, and wouldn't need trimmer for that, only a little bit around nose, lips... apple cheeks and neck I shave with a razor.
Gamma+ is available to me, but I don't know which one to choose (boosted, skin, x-ergo...), hope you can help me.

Just get a magic clip. It’ll come with every guard you need and it’s powerful enough for home use IMO but if you want something with POWER. Get a rebel
@@Giovanyblendz Thanks for the reply. US products are very expensive in my country. Magic is over 200$, so I don't know if it's a good deal. My barber recommended me andis, but it's over 300$ in shops here, so I ignored that. Gamma+ prices are normal, so that's why I am considering it.

thinking about buying a senior, couldn’t help but notice the drastic difference in price between the corded and non corded clipper, is this due to the convenience of not having a chord, or because of how drastically better the non chorded is in terms of overall cutting?
Main difference is just the cord/cordless. They’re pretty much the same other than that. Just paying for the convenience of no cord
My dude! You need to snag the .50 cal from caliber! The slive/black carbon fiber OG are better I'm my opinion then there new version but it's still nice.
It's the quietest clipper in the shop by far (the 1st version) and so powerful. The blade is ridiculously sharp. Che k it out I promise it'll be worth it. Caliber has some awesome products.

I almost got a huge collection myself! Been using the Boosted Gamma+ clipper and i gotta say its the best clipper ive used hands down, beats WAHL gold magic clip and senior for me. Only 1 exception. All my GAMMA+ blades get loose and feels flimsy, this is where american clippers beat italian clippers, in construction, never broke american clipper, but my two XErgo and Boosted are having shitty loose blades… so ive been searching for my next clipper and so far im going for the JRL, reviews are unbeatable, and ofcourse you didnt mention much of them but so many videos do hahaha 👍🫶🏻 great vid

It’s not a lot different. The rubber grip is a big upgrade and obviously the custom colors are cool but still pretty much the same clipper

Hey Sean, i have a general question: Do i really need clipper with high rpm (7000 up)? I still see barbers using Wahl clippers today, and they are not the most powerful (rpm level) and they work with them and are happy with the result. Do you know what I mean?
You can cut with any of them. I wouldn’t say you need it. With that being said no way I could use an old magic clip with how powerful some of the clippers I have today are

The senior just aint doing it compared to all the innovation out there now. Them sabers are up there. Was caught off guard with how much i like those clippers and trimmers. All i really pick up anymore. The saber has to be the most slept on clipper in the game right now.
Saber is solid the weight was the only thing I didn’t love
Yes 1 question why not the absolute Alfas by style craft 4 hour run time fusion blade with many other mods for it and covers levers and two cutting blades to choose from and pick a style and if it wasn’t in your video then why??
The rebel is a giant leap up from the alpha but pretty much the same. Twice as good as the alpha in the same body

Magic clip is more standard shape but the lithium is more bang for your buck

Fast feeds are kind of in a league of their own. Don’t know much about the cordless but haven’t heard much good

@@Seancutshair thanks, I bought a brand new Rebel off eBay, and it looks like it's covered in hair. Supplier said it's hair like rope from stylecraft when they test new clippers..... But to me, being new to clippers, it just looks gross and like human hair. Nevertheless, I'm going to return it. Thanks for giving me your feedback.

As soon as I tried it the first time! Always used taper blades before that
Try getting a senior and pimp it out to see if it changes anything like your beast modes put a fusion blade, ceramic, and tomb45 battery 😴😴 that would be dope 💯 the senior alone just won’t compare …

@@Seancutshair do all of that and for the ceramic use a 3versince ceramic blade for the extra blur. Got two seniors modded out exactly the same with the different ceramic blades 3versince offers and all i gotta say is i havent touched other clippers in a year

These days they all cut well. Quietest is probably the jrl 2020c

It just opens up slightly further to offset how short the blade is
Your opinion on the X ergo vs new rebels.
X ergo is solid but rebel/boosted are some of my favorites. Really comes down to the shape of the clipper
I got magic clips which clippers would make a good duo with the magic clips
Something with a different blade maybe a rebel or fx clipper
