    Did you know they make a big bore kit to bring these to 212ccs & 24 horsepower? I think we need one.

    I once modified a similar bulb with the same problem. The fitting ring was soldered on and I used a plumbing heat torch to remove it and solder it back on a 12 v bulb. It worked a treat.

    • @Simplytanner
      @Simplytanner 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just mentioned the same idea, been doing it for years and it has never failed me! I typically use an iron instead of torch just to limit the heat.

    Wheel bearing...it happened to me one time while doing around 70km/h i felt some strange wiggle on rear wheel in my motoscooter called "Hulajstopa" but after stopping and checking if anything is alright i haven't noticed any problems so I continued the ride. After getting to home I felt again this wiggle and then noticed rear wheel moving from side to side so I dissasambled the axle and found out that my rear left bearing (on the sprocket side) wasn't existing any more, bunch of metal shavings where in hub and axle was almost cut in half because of ball bearings, so if the axle snapped while doing 70km/h, I would end worse than Ike on 670cc mower. Thanks Ike and John for mentioning how importand wheel bearings are!!!

    My brother and I both had Mini Trail 50’s around 1969. A buddy down the street hit a Trail 70 and I was so jealous. The mini trail would only go like 32 mph flat out whereas the Trail 70 FLEW down the street at about 45 MPH. I can only imagine one with a 190cc! Kinda like when another friend in the mid 70’s put a Suzuki 250 cc two stroke twin on a Honda US90 three wheel ATV. That thing was beyond scary. No one wanted to ride that thing!

    You can weld that plastic fuel tank easily. Empty it fill it with water. But leave about a half inch space below the water. Now use a flat screw diver you don't mind heating up with a torch. Find a some black plastic that you cut into some small pieces to use as a filler. Heat the screw diver with the torch and do some practice with melting the plastic and melting in your filler. You may have to reheat the screw driver several times to get the results you need. I kid you not this works and it'll be fine. Heat the screw driver blade up just enough to get the plastic to melt on it's surface and not obliterate it into a puddle. So go slow until you get the hang of it. Once you master this technique you will be amazed at the plastic parts you can repair. Have a great day gentlemen.

    For the tank, get as much of the fuel out as possible and try plastic welding it. I've done it before on plastic 3 wheeler tanks and have had good results. Done it on 3 wheeler plastics too! And in your case it would be hidden if it doesn't come out as pretty as you would like.

    Don't throw away the bulbs. My dad has figured out how to remove the glass part and keep the brass. Then you mount LESs in the old brass case. You need to source high voltage ones or tack on a regulator. It takes a bit to explain and I don't want to east too much space. But its is a conversions you can do to any older system. We started with the big industrial flashlights on the farm.

    Take the lawn mower. Put one of your 440 2 strokes on it mounted like a streight 6 on a ford. make a driveshaft going to the rear axle attached to a magic box. Simaler to what you did with the rat rod wagon but This would be awesome. Like if you agree. Yall said you wanted more 2 strokes. so lets make this happon. Also take it out to your new hq. get tank boat out there with sand tires for your pond.
