How to install a Burly Brand Fairing on a Sportster XL

Front fairing install on a 2001 Harley Sportster 883 from Burly Brand! This was the first time installing an aftermarket fairing for me and it wasn’t to difficult. Fool around with the brackets and figure out what fits best for your bike set up. Thank you to Burly Brand for providing this fairing for the video!

Thanks for the guidance. Using a flat head screwdriver on hose clamps is a royal pain with it slipping out and maybe scratching your bike. A small socket works soooo much better! Ride Safe!

Do you think that the Harley quick detach clamps could be used instead of the hose clamps? I have one coming this week and ive wondering if that would be a option?

easier way is to (not by instructions, but by the factory in China):
1). mount the clamps loosely first with rubber protections,
2). then mount the clamps that will line up with fairing loosely,
3). Lastly then fairing - and you can progressively tighten things down - make sure your cables are tugged in clean with zip ties.

Why didn’t you show how to put the adjustment brackets on?? That’s literally the only part I need help with lol smh

It’s pretty simple actually. Every bike will be different in how you adjust the the brackets.
