As soon as the flying beast ascended and vanished into the sky, the citizens resumed their normal everyday activities like it had never been there at all.
Thanks David Attenborough

For US users: its free ride for emergency patients
i like how all continue living after take off, thats life... nothing happend, past, already forgoten.........
With zero forward airspeed would an autorotate even be possible or would it fall like a rock?
yo look at that dude chilling in the window ha
AMAZING
That was normal but Epic >:D
Some people's definition of amazing are very different than the textbook definition...
You're right, they actually did do an 'amazingly' textbook (and perfect) max performance take-off.... That was the literal and exact safest and most trained way to fly out of that hoverhole. They seemed to have a patient on-board as well. Was probably amazing to the person on board if it saved their life though lol
Does it have technology to vertical fly like nowadays drones?
nice looking city
Dvo rak Munich is always beautiful
That was amazing....a helicopter took off.........Incredible.....
It is actually pretty amazing helicopters are very bad at such hi vertical take offs they need forward momentum to gain altitude and it’s actually quiet hard to go straight up like that. I assume it was using all available power
That's how we do it. vertical lift until clear
EC-135?
Everyone’s watching... to see what you will do....
What's an Austrian registered Chopper doing in Munich? Seems a bit far to fly. Are there no local Air Ambulances?
bmused55 well, sometimes there‘s border crossing help from neighbouring emergency services necessary, in this case from Austria
I'd rather think that the Austrian helicopter transported a patient to a specialist Munich hospital rather than providing asistance to the local EMS. Munich has two air ambulances based in its area of responsibility. Usually those support the surrounding countys, not the other way around.
The Austrians transported a patient to the Munich central hospital. FAt that time the Götheplatz was the heli landing site for the Munich central hospital as the usual landing site cannot be used because of a construction site. So each time a heli is landing the fire department and the police have been clearing the crossing. It was always a traffic nightmare but there is no other nearby place in central munich.
Serious Question .. why not the Theresienwiese? This would avoid the traffic nightmare and its right ums Eck? :)
Blueeagle why should an austrian emergencies helicopter transferring a patient to Munich land at a street crossing in Munich- should suppose that there would be anykind of heliport at the hospital!
Schönes Video, schöne Maschine ( glaube eine Ec-135 ? )

Ok cool 😀
München ist also Fluglinie gleich ums Eck.
was macht ein ec135 von Österreich hier in Deutschland?

No rush mate, just do another lap round the chopper
its called checking if everything works... its not that great when you takeoff just to realise that something flew into the engine and blocking it...
Why has the firemen WWII military helmet (in white)?
Because it's the standard Aluminium helmet which many german fire departments still use. In most cases they are painted yellow or beige. But recently, more and more fire departments are changing to more modern helmets.
This what happens when camera frame rate is matching with the helicopter blate's spin rate
Der ist aus Österreich oder?
Vlogger 01 steht darauf Munich!!
Name of that helicopter please

That's one sassy helicopter pilot. Anyone know the story behind this landing?
In usually the despatcher center of ambulance services send helicopter for very serious patient, when the ambulance car is "not enough" and the aim is to transport the patient to hospital as soon as possible.
Something like this happens in Germany almost every day.
What was amazing about this?
MAVERICK WATCH REVIEWS for me I never experienced a heli in the middle of the street.
I can see that but it's not "amazing". Odd and interesting but not "amazing".

Was ist da Amazing
did the germans have a lot of helmet left over from WW2
not really. WW2 helmets were from steel and therefore rarely made it for 73 years since the end of war.
Firefighters use helmets with a similar shape, but of course it is different from WW helmets.
ahhh, what they say about the germans and humor is indeed true.
Hope you are very happy while laughing. Did not see so much humor in the original post. Enjoy the joke.
I was being sarcastic. but it wasn't meant to be disrespectful to all the germans who suffered during these times
Yeah a lot of Germans suffered in WW2...

Urgent enough to land a helicopter in a city
Not urgent enough to walk quickly
thats germany :/
The video shows the takeoff _after_ they dropped a patient off for one of the nearly university hospitals. After unloading the patient, there's no urgency.
