    Hi brandon. I wonder if u could have shown some videos like importing half of the subdivision parcel of land with roads to the one i have already in my file and how could it be connect to other half with the same scale. Note that the import half parcel of subd drawing has some lines of power, and sewer and telephone line etc and i want that these stuff shall be removed to have the same with my original file which only shown the parcel and the roads..
    thank you very much. awesome video and very easy to follow.

    Awesome Brandon! Great Job. My only question is that is it still possible to edit the title block words in the layout?

    • @Cadintentions
      @Cadintentions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Kenneth!
      Yes you can edit title blocks in your layout, they edits will affect all of the layouts in your particular drawing if you are editing text that is part of the Block itself, like headings or say the work Project or Title. If you're editing the various attributes or individual text objects like the specific date, project name, initials etc then they are also editable in the layout but they will be specific to each layout sheet.
      Hopefully that helps! But just let me know if had any other questions.
      Cheers,
      Brandon

    Brandon I follow all your steps on how to insert a title block on paper space. What happen when you don't see your title block when you insert it. Question, how can I plot a drawing on a 11 x 17 paper and keep the same size of my drawing when using a view port. Every time I plot my drawing and scale it, the drawing is smaller. Thank you for your help.

    that's a great tutorial..
    btw, do you know how to set more than 1 view port?
    let say I have a very big drawing, so I need to separate it into 3 drawings.. it means in 1 drawing will need 3 viewports.. 1 for the grid line on top side, 1 for the grid line on the left side, the last for the main drawing... and how to align the main drawing with the grid line?
    thx..

    I'm fairly new to title blocks so forgive me if I seem thick but keep getting lost when scaling the title block. I must be doing something wrong or missing something as after I do scale and pinpoint left bottom corner after typing "R" and stretching across it does not allow me to go back to my actual page corner to make it fit. what am i doing wrong?

    Help! My plot-to-file (pdf) previews show everything ultra pixelated . Only when I zoom way into my layout can I get a clear unpixelated plot preview. When zoom extents and plot preview everything is pixelated again.
    --I've tried different plot styles and all of which have no effect and all layers are default lineweights, (which is .25)
    --PDF resolution is normal (600dpi)

      First have a title block saved onto your computer. Then go to Insert as the video explained and instead of choosing your title block, select "More Options..." and you will see a dialog box pop up. You will see the Name field near the top of this dialog box. Select the Browse button to right of that Name field and locate your saved title block.

    I open a new drawing with my title block in the layout 2 position and draw in model space but it will not "view" the drawing on the title block when I place a viewport there. Can anyone explain why? Is there some setting that Im not turning on or off on the tile block to see the drawing appear? I can put the viewport on layout 2 and it will appear, but not on my title block.

    • @golfer0422
      @golfer0422 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I figured it out...I think. I watched another video that said to type MVIEW as a command once the viewport is drawn...magically it appeared. I thought thats what was supposed to happen immediately after you draw the rectangle. I guess not, or some setting is off/on that disallows it from appearing then. Now I just need to figure out how to dimension after changing the scale to make the drawing fit on the title block via the viewport on that page.
