If possible, could you do a frame test in The Great Desert? Mainly in the Buried Ruins area, I have a PS5 Pro, with VRR, and play on the "Pro Mode" and get tons of stuttering in that area and throughout The Great Desert, I am worried my PS5 Pro is faulty but have no idea if its happening for others. D:
I get stuttering there as well. Its an Unreal Engine issue. I have played this game back on the OG PS5. And open area's such as Xion and Great desert cause a lot of stuttering. Basically, whenever a new area is being loaded, it cause a stutter. And the great desert is notorious for that. But Xion does it too, which I showed at the beginning of the video. Constant spikes. Even at the regular frame rate mode, it does exact same thing. So, its obviously an engine issue. You're PS5 Pro is fine ;)
@@DeadPhoenix86DP That is reassuring, although the spikes I get in the great desert happen even if I ain't walking around, I could simply be rotating the camera and will notice pretty big spikes sometimes, even if I lock the game at 60FPS, I still get them. But hopefully that is just down to the Unreal Engine.... Thank you for responding though.
@@Yuiiski- I can check next week. I'm gonna be away for a few days. Luckily, I already started a third Playthrough recently. So, I'll check out the Great Desert buried ruins, once I get back.
It's a shame that High Frame Rate isn't allowed on Vanilla Performance mode.
True. Which is weird. Because It would definitely run better on the Performance mode vs the Pro Mode.
