Even though I'm basically doing the exact opposite of what you're doing, this video has helped me tremendously with my post apocalyptic flak vest! Great stuff!!! I don't doubt you have something else that'll help me
A technique for making a sharp line in fabic we used to use in the Marines was to pull thin mono fishing line tight like 4lb test in the fabric crease and then runs a really hot iron over the outside of the fabic to melt the fishing line intot the fabic and it holds a sharp crease. for eternity
You do this after I gave up on the idea of being an offical mando lol. Could have used this a couple of years ago. Oh well, I don't have regs to deal with then lol
So the website for the vest isn't cooperating for me. Would it be possible if you could make a template for the vest, or find another vest that'd word? I've looked but I just don't know if I'm looking in all the right places for a good vest
I know this video is over two years old at this point, but do you know where/how I can get that carrier vest? I managed to find it on the tacprogear website but they dont have an add to cart button that I saw, which makes getting one of these impossible otherwise. Do you have any suggestions as to where i might find one of these vests now?

I needed this tutorial for my mandolorian build for so long

Loving how the build is coming together, definitely will consider this when I get to making my own flak vest.
If you need to glue some fabric down I would advise using headliner adhesive that is used for cars.

i realize this is an old video but can we get the link for the vest?
Damn, I Just picked up a boilersuit, and the flak vest was next in line for me to make, so this came at the perfect time!
This is a great idea for the budget-minded.
Thanks for filming this, and hope to troop with you soon!
Awesome work. Greetings 👍
isnt the bolt and washer and stuff uncomfortable poking you? or risk damaging your undersuit/clothes?
It would be awesome if he did a sabine wren helmet seeing as she might be in one of the upcoming Star Wars shows.

You have to select both the size and the colour and then it will tell you it's sold out
Your entire outfit would look better if you wore black instead of grey and white under the armour
Lmao for mine (not an official member) i used an old welding jacket i just cut down to what i wanted.
Do you take commissions?
Does anyone know of alternatives to this type of vest. Currently soldout
What was the name of the vest he used

Was about to mention that, but saw your post first. Thanks, vod!
