Well it arrived on Monday 3 days earlier than expected,I have fitted a small fuel filter I bought from a motorbike shop but had to extend the fuel line to fit it in the small gap, all I can say is wow what a great heater very quiet and amazing on fuel highly recommended
I wonder if it would add any benefit to extend and run the exhaust through a mass to collect the heat for later slow release in the same way a rocket mass heater does.
I got mine about 10 minutes ago 5/27/21. The directions are plain gibberish. That's why I'm watching. Looks exactly the same. I'll try hooking it up tomorrow.
I bought one of these because of your videos. I use it in my extra long cargo van. I was impressed with the heat output. I can ride around in my underwear in the dead of winter if I wanted to. I can get over 6 hours of heat on high and almost 10 hours on low. I can't even hear it run when the van is started. I'm planning on buying a few more of them. Will make a great back up heat supply if the power goes out. Thanks for sharing this review. It was the deciding factor on what model to buy. This fully contained unit fits the bill for me, and the price is pretty good too.
Looking at how hot the exhaust gets, something tells me that there's a lot of potential for using one of these heating and also hot water with a heat exchanger in the exhaust
can you post what kind of heater this is ( the same ) cause the link doesnt work,. Ive found that with all the videos Ive been watching link expires or is. unavailable. please post names :(
I GOT MINE GOING STRAIGHT THROUGH THE FLOOR IN MY CARAVAN..ITS GREAT IN THE WINTER.AS I LIVE BY THE SEASIDE ITS COLD AT NIGHT..BUT THE HEATER IS GREAT..
Always check the screws on the heater unit its self inside as there not all assembled properly & can leak gasses.also makeshure your exorst cups around the exorst outlet snug as you can be given ones that are 3mill to big then when you tighten the jubul clip it scrunches the pipe "you think its fine but gasses shoot out from underneath into your vehicle.chech & buy your own jubilee clip.
These 5kw cost around £54 left on constantly in uk for 7 days on the lowest setting 16c . I run a business and run 8 not cheep. unless you live in the usa.
They all seem to use the wrong fuel line on these models but it is so short that it doesnt matter I guess. I mounted mine in a tool box on the front deck with fancy vents and even a lion crest decal to make it look like a bought one hehe. I built in a 12 volt supply and added a small UPS so when I have power outs (Im off grid) I don't start warping the burner fan or frying the board.
Mine had the right line, but it had a full double loop around the intake end of the heater, before running down to the fuel intake. Seems quite excessive. I had to put it in priming mode like three times before the line was clear of bubbles.
I would have it boiling pumped water in a coil around it and the baffler under a hot plate and then exhaust it outside, lot of heat there going to waste.
This is my first look at one of these as my wife is a Marie curie Nurse on nights and using our own car in winter so I'd like her to not have to deal with Internal windscreen Frost ,Any info appreciated 👍

I have the same heater but oddly, the fuel tap at the bottom rear of the fuel tank is on the side closest to the cover rather than closer to the center of the heater as yours is. Yours is far better location for adding a fuel filter. It saves them 3 inches of fuel line, but makes adding a fuel filter a lot harder.
Worth remembering that anyone who is unlucky to have a fire in a vehicle or building which has one of these heaters installed, isnt insured. There are many videos covering these heaters, but not seen a single mention of no insurance cover?
@@dakota3206 Poor installation is the main cause of accidents, and as the heaters are not safety rated, will mean any claim involving fire isnt going to get paid.

Hi Mark, Can you or any of your followers please advise on how you paired your remote with the Unit? Mine is the same controller with the red icon bottom left and no wifi symbol???
very compact and bijou, but i have issues with that exhaust. It needs insulation. Maybe a rigid length of pipe running out of the box to give the flexible pipe a bit more to enable proper venting. Maybe some shielding between heater and tank also ?
Here in the USA an automotive product, a fiberglass wrap, is available to cover the exhaust. The wrap hardens into a tough protection and insulation layer. Cheap, too
I elevated a "kit" system on my camper install. It was a bad idea as the exhaust began to bleed exhaust gasses into my accommodation!! It's now bolted firmly to the floor. Possible issue with this "ready made" system as the exhaust "coupling" is now indoors?
Thanks for this. Do you know how to set the temperature/ thermostat on this thing in stead of the puls/ Herz (H1-H6). I'd like to set it to 22C and when it reaches that temp that it automatically stays at 22C. Thanks
I personally don't think it is a good idea to point the exhaust in the same direction as the intake pipe and heater. The intake will breathe in the fume.
