    I was thinking that 5 minute setup time was pretty quick but then realized the Fast Forward during the setup 😂

    Awesome video! Is that awning on the drivers side part of the tent too?

    • @BKM5931
      @BKM5931  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! No, the awning is a stand alone piece. It's really nice on sunny summer days, or rainy days.

    Did you have to shim up the back of the FJ rack to make it level? I have a FJ too. Thanks in advance for any mounting tips.

      No, I just set it so it’s in a level spot on the rack.

    How are these in high wind conditions, and through winter camping? Good insulation and sturdiness?

    • @BKM5931
      @BKM5931  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how high the winds are I suppose. I've slept in it with 20mph winds and the tent did fine. It was just loud, but any tent is loud in high winds. The heavy canvas does a decent job of insulating from the outside air. I've snow camped down to 17 degrees F.

    Have you had to pack this up in wet weather? Curious if itll keep the water out folded up wet.

    • @BKM5931
      @BKM5931  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I have and it’s not great for that really. You need to be able to air it out so that it’s dry before you store it for any amount of time. I’ve folded it up wet for maybe a week, before I was able to open it back up to dry out and it was fine.

    What is the weight capacity using the stock roof rack?

      @BKM5931  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I remember correctly, it's 600 lbs.
