In this universe Armstrong isn't superpowered by nanomachines or anything of the sort, Jack is just a famished child laborer so Armstrong's strength and endurance still feels superhuman in comparison.
"WHY WON'T THOU PERISH!?" shouted Jack, kicking the wealthy man. The man named Armstrong looked down at him and said with a smirk: "Food, son! It gives you strength for your muscles! "
A month late, but I just love the concept of Armstrong becoming comedically strong thanks to his time in the factory along with other childhood hardships. Kind of inspiring ngl.
Also, make Armstrong still incredibly strong, not necessarily superhuman, but I’d love the energy of fighting a Raid Boss. Imagine the feeling of fighting Mike Tyson but he’s eight times your weight class and incredibly nimble. Also, have Blade Wolf (Now either steampunk, a dog with prosthetics, or just a dog) hand him Sam’s Canesword (or just the Murasama but it’s a regular sword that just FEELS strong compared to regular knives on account of being MASSIVE by comparison. This could also contrast with a British Imperial Cavalry sword Raiden stole from Sundowner (instead of one from the start). Though maybe a different sword of whatever fitting imperialising country works for the setting will fit better. Imperial Japan is a little too early for nostalgia in this time period.)
