    In my opinion, Sheppard Air is the best way to study, and they DO have the exact questions on their study guide. If a question is changed by the FAA, they update their software and let you know which ones have changed. A lot of airlines sending people to ATP-CTP use Sheppard Air.

    I have heard from my classmates from aviation institute of maintenance, that Dauntless is a good program. I have prepware on my phone for $10. I'm still in school and struggling to keep up with my classes on top of wife and 3 kids, night job and being in class 6 hours/day Mon-Thursday. Unfortunately for me, I will have to wait until the end of program to study and pass my tests because I have not been able to study for my general exam on top of what I have to do for my current classes. I tried that already and it did not work out, so I have to be smart and not fry my brain and have a mental breakdown.

    Hey man love your video thank you for the advice! I just had a question about the FAA exams in regard to the airlines, I talked to a couple friends of mine who recently got hired in the airlines and they said they never asked about written exams (scores, failures, etc) they only worried about the check ride itself and if they had any failures on them throughout their flight training. I also talked to my instructor about it and her response to the importance of FAA written exams were “it’s just a commodity”. I do believe it is very important to try your best and study as hard as you can for these exams to be able to present a good score to the DPE but I don’t think they will cause an issue when it comes to hiring in the future. Again I’m not saying they are not important and you should disregard them completely I’m just saying you should not get disappointed or feel like you won’t have a future in aviation if the exam doesn’t go as planned. Any comments regarding that topic? Thanks again! Loved your video.

      Hey Daniel, thanks so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. Thanks again brotha! See ya in the sky

      @@marvinguzman924 I'm going to be honest with you. I studied the ASA Study guide(book) for a whole week them I started practice the PrepWare for another week. Scrambled the questions and take that test on the PrepWare. You must keep you score above 90%. As soon you started to score 90-95% after many attempts of the PrepWare you're ready to take the actual test. Warning the actual test will modify the wording and order of the multiple answer. and i also recommend that you get the FAA-H-8083- series books for general, airframe and powerplant. The practical tests are pretty much the lab practices from school. It is pretty basic; nothing hard. Do know how to safety wire bolts, how to calculate weight and balance, how to read a caliper/micrometer, how to prepare a 337 form, etc.

      @Jason-ov5rk ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true. All my DPES have told me they don’t really care about the written score because it’s not an accurate identifier of one’s knowledge. Plus, the whole point is to just memorize the numbers/wording of questions. Cheat the system before it cheats you (I got a 98 on my ifr written from this)
