@finnvoid In my case they were purchased as a package. $100 more ($499 total) for the Keyboard / Extra battery etc. seemed like a steal. In the docked position it goes for 16 hours easy on a charge (almost double the time without the dock). Having the versatility of both a netbook and tablet for $499 seems like a no brainer to me. I didn't think the keyboard / battery dock was important..... until I started using it. The tablet itself is barely ever on the wall charger.
about getting it without the keyboard... the point of a tablet is the tablet form, touch-screen etc.. if you prefer it as the 'netbook' form, then get a netbook. As a tablet it's one of the cheapest Android tablets available (and imho, the best). The keyboard (et al) costs about $150 more
Thanks for the awesome review man. I think I am fairly well dead set on owning this tablet, hell since I saw the additional functionality of a tablet/netbook I was more than interested. This was merely the icing on the cake.
Loved the description I like it the way u review the products and the elongated style of describing how the product actually is good.... keep it up... I personally am looking for a tablet and waiting for the Sony s1 and s2.....
dude that is a great style although i think you should have explained a little more about the touch pad, although you gave me more info than the previus 4 vids
@TheEllkaytee It's actually surprisingly sturdy. It feels just like a proper netbook when docked.

well after watching galaxy tab video and ordering it right away, and seeing this now, i want both now ugh, tough choices :(
@unboxtherapy is the switch for connecting the tablet to the keyboard good quality? Or does it seem flimsy, like it might fall apart soon?
this would be epic in class just film the whole class and cut the rage parts out and make a teacher rage montage
@unboxtherapy where did you get both keyboard and tablet for 499??
@nwi17 Yes, the front camera on the Asus is 1.3MP. haha, and yet the iPad can't even get past 1MP on the back. It's stuck at .7
Does it support USB printing for web pages or documents?
@unboxtherapy
Why so late at night?
Is it possible to do gaming with the keyboard?
