EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE CHEAPEST INTEGRA TYPE R IN THE COUNTRY

- I've bought the cheapest Honda Integra Type R in the UK. Costing just £1750 the chance to buy this car came to me during my trade up series for a super car. In this video we show everything wrong (on the surface) with the car. Will we be able to save this and turn a profit to reach the goal of trading it for our next car in the process, or have we bit off more than we can chew ?

Jacking it off 😂
Can you imagine the rust falling off while I jacked it off ?? Would have no car left at the end 😂😂🙈🙈
@@identitycarcare477 sorry I had to, appealed to my silly sense of humour. Good luck with the build
Silly sense of humour is why I didn't edit that part out 😂 it's all welcome here. Thanks for the support
I have some videos of it running a few years ago, I helped get it running and driving again. It drove pretty well then considering. 🇲🇽 Hoping to see it back on the road!
I would love to see these if you're able to send them ? Because it's history and low ownership I would love if its possible to get it back to it's glory days.
Good luck with this man 🍀😎
Thanks we'll need all the support we can get 👍🏻👍🏻
looking forward to this
I'm not !😂 That's for watching we appreciate it 👍🏻
@@identitycarcare477 if i could I'd be there helping to learn all i could ,im trying to rebuild an ek.
That UK rust is no joke
Yeah it's not something to take lightly when viewing a car over here haha certainly plenty on display here thought
Great video mate. Good luck 🤞
thanks for the support it means a lot
Nice video, but im not sure if this car can be saved it might be better just parting it out, however if you can save it it would be a nice video series. Goodluck.
Thanks for the support, I'm not giving up just yet but I think shes still got a lot more to reveal to us yet
It's not that bad
Good test for the boot, that’s pretty solid duct tape should be enough
I was actually expecting to go straight through onto the ground when the first foot went in, credit to the paint job I think its the only thing holding the car together hah
A knew that would start first time once fuel pump was primed If you save this id be buzzed obvs bodywork wise its probs one of the worst out there but it is still saveable
Next episode I'll be stripping the full interior out to get a full look at what we're dealing with. Although it's technically part of a trade series I'd love to save this and have a year with it myself. The B series engine is great and I've got an awfa love for the Honda's for reasons I just couldn't explain 😂
@@identitycarcare477 aye definitely av had a B18c4 MB6 vti and a MC2 vti Aerodeck 82k when bought the deck used minimal oil the mb6 had 150k and used a litre in 250 miles a reget buying my first one , but my mc2 was bulletproof if you go too sell it in a year let me know longshot but id buy a DC2 even if it was ropey and was fixable i, dying too buy another vti if a cant get a dc2
This runs smooth as when it fired up, no smoke or nothing which surprised me. One way or another there will be a dc2 for sale at the end of this 👍🏻
@@identitycarcare477 amazing im not suprized both vti started first time even my nail of a mb6 that burned oil like fuck started first go
Class! Gid laugh m8 👌
Thanks for the support Neal !
Glad you got it running but just watching this video scares me and its not even my car 😦 Looking at that shell I would just try and make a profit from breaking it to save time and money and move on. I reckon you'll be into it for well over 10 grand just fixing the shell.
There's a lot of shell cuts available on dc2 pages which could be an option, or rolling shells for 4k mark. With a re shell and engine overhaul we could maybe end up at 8k all in without man hours into consideration and possibly get 10k in trade value against the next car 🤷🏻♂️ a lot of work to make 2k profit when like you say I'd probably make that in breaking it and move on a lot quicker. We're a saving channel though so we'll have to do our best to save the car in whatever capacity first.
Shes scrap mate had an ek4 same way! Old hondas suck for rust and Its a shame
I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to rotten old hondas, but I think shes still a lot more to reveal to us yet
