Thank you. One question, is it possible to use the CB 500 Adat as the Main Monitor Output source together with my Apollo x8? So that the digital to analog conversion is performed by the CB 500 and not from the Apollo?

and how to route if possible?

@@conrow1157 The only way to make this happen would be to route your main DAW outputs to two spare channels on the 500ADAT (via ADAT channels on your Apollo of course). You would then need to make a choice as to whether you had modules installed on those two channels (which would process your main DAW outs), or whether you always left them empty/bypassed. Potentially, taking the idea even further, you could even treat your entire 500ADAT as a kind of 'top-down mixing' master bus, using installed modules as a linear channel strip, chained together, before hitting your monitors.

@@cranborneaudio nice! And how do I need to route this in the Apollo console?

ok i unterstand. I connect my Monitors to the bypassed adat 7/8 for everyday usage. In my DAW I route the Output to 7/8 adat as well. Having the benefit of better converters. For master chain example In logic I route my Mix via I/O Plugin out to CB 500 adat 1/2@@cranborneaudio and back in 5/6 adat. Will all the installed 500 series unites be recorded then? and what if I insert my SPL Kultupe 19 rack unit to 7/8 to also implement it to the master chain? Can I just leave it off when I juts want to go out in my Monitors? thanks

This narrator should really work on pronouncing his words a little better because he wasn't saying 500ADAT, he was saying "fraunjadata". I was here trying to learn about this product before potentially buying it.

      Hi EightySix,
That would be Elliott's authentic Hertfordshire accent It's not to everyone's liking for sure. At least Elliott pronounces his T's so "bottle of water" is not "bo-ul ov wo-ha"
Hope you are able to get the info you are looking for. Please do feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions not answered as you watch the tutorials.
      All the best!

God bless you Elliot , but dang …I too was having a bit of trouble understanding your fast paced accent.
I get the general idea of this , but I’m left with some questions
