and this film is half the budget of most of the DC, Marvel, Disney 'blockbusters' lately
And yet the graphics and animation looks far more realistic and better than those do. Just goes to show you money doesn't always help.
You can really tell they use their budget, better looking than any superhero movies
He shoots scenes like actual movies. Marvel shoots scenes like roller coasters.
@@JimBarcelonano it’s not easy it’s difficult to get it right with CGI.
The moment where he talked about Hans Zimmer about childhood dreams, brings a smile to my face :)
I love this guys philosophy on film making.
I just can’t wait to watch this movie!!! Too bad we don’t have an IMAX theater in my country, but I’m sure that it will be an amazing experience nonetheless.
Had an IMAX foot distance away when Interstellar came out (Amazing), when DUNE dropped, the theater was shut down. (GF+Covid) DUNE as a cinematic experience has been cursed for decades. Planning for part 2, ...part two. gl out there for everyone with no IMAXs.
Can't wait to watch this masterpiece
Love this dudes mindset about his craft . We need a director like this over at lucasfilm rn
let's go 💪
Gréât job 👌 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

It's cute how he never lost is french accent.
Most french Canadians loose their accent when working in english.
It depends on how you were raised. I'm a Quebecois and I have a French Canadian accent when speaking English because I was born and raised in a French unilingual family and I learned to master English during my adulthood. Many bilingual French Canadians have learned English during their childhood (Justin Trudeau for example). You couldn't guess that some of my work colleagues in Montreal are native French speakers because they learned English almost at the same age as French.
@@YanBrassard Was raised in French and learned English only at 17. There must be something like a genetic difference beetween people that affect accents
Dune part 1 has very slow pace and little char interactions imo. Hope this one will be better.
Yeah, it all feels like it's happening in a vacuum. No grand imperium politics. It's there, you just don't really feel it. I think what was shown is rather strong in its own right, but it really all feels limited in scope. Too limited for a multifaceted property like Dune.
Also, If they'd cut short 30 percent of all those long shots, they could've actually added all the missing material
@@humbleopulence you just cant fit whole book i to the movie. I see this movie as a masterpiece worth the book and we should all look at it like that
@@nikolafistonic2751 we should all breathe properly and pick up our trash and respect the rules of the road. We shouldn't all like a movie. And for the record, I love the movie, I just think it's overly self indulgent and badly paced, which it is.
@@humbleopulence I love this movie, watched it 5 times, but I prefer 1984 version, version I've watched maybe around 80 times and often put Princess Irulan introduction as a loop in the background when I work.
