my father-in law just bought a ford 3000 tractor yesterday and he's looking for a front end loader for it. I did not know between the different years the front end loaders fit different. Thanks for the good informative video and we live in West Memphis and he's originally from Truman.
Rick, I probably know your father-in-law. I'm originally from Trumann as well. Yes, 'most' loaders can be fit to another tractor. The only real issue usually is the mounting brackets. Rage Fab in Trumann can fabricate custom mounting brackets to fit anything. I wish him good luck. Thanks for the comments. BTW, I use my tractor up at Hardy.
glad u recovered u did a great job mounting the unit I am currently attempring to mount the frame by hand with jacks and crib blocks If i get it its got to be done slowly a little piece at a time
Hello, I wanted to know the purpose of the handle that is fixed right under the hydraulic hoses at 5:39 right where you place your right foot. Have a nice day!
As I recall, it’s a brake lock. You push down the brake pedal(s) and then pull up and twist this handle to lock the brakes. You pull up and twist them let go to release the brakes. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good luck with your old tractor.
It took me almost a year to get it working. Just today I went and got 86 gallons of -20 windshield washer fluid to put in both of the rear tires. That front end loader is so heavy that the rear wheels spin when I pick up the least little thing with the bucket. Thanks for commenting Michael.
Great video! I’m putting a loader on a Ford 2000. Where did you get the piece that lines thread into below the seat? My current valve feeds hydro lines in the back of the tractor.
You can purchase the same Tisco hydraulic access block that I have on my tractor from Quality Farm Supply online. However, understand that that particular block will supply 100% of the full hydraulic pressure to whatever is plumbed into it. This particular loader was originally driven by a low pressure hydraulic pump that ran from the driveshaft pulley on the front of a Ford 600/800 series tractor. It had a hydraulic filter plumbed into the pipes. When I attached it to my Tisco block it would blow the cans on the filters apart. I had to take the filter out of the system. I got help from a seasoned tractor mechanic and implement dealer foreman. He pointed out to me that all the tractors they equip with loaders do not have spin on filter bases and filters put into their systems. That's the only problem I had with this installation. Since then it has worked great. Good luck with your install. I hope it works well for you.
for me you skipped the most important part. How to connect hydraulic hoses to tractor. I briefly saw a plate installed on the tractor to feed the output and return hoses. can you tell me where you got that connecting plate.
Nice job on getting the loader installed on the tractor. Sounds like you had a lot of issues but you got them all worked out. Wow, that bucket lifts high, what was that, about 15 feet?
Congratulations on your successful loader installation I have the Ford 4000 bucket loader and I struggle to get all the connection can I have your email address
Great job! I want to add a bucket to my Ford 3000 and your video inspired me.
You can do it! Good luck.

Nice set up.
Thanks. It sure made the tractor more valuable to me.

Good luck with your install. I hope all goes well. This lift really made my tractor a much better and useable piece of equipment.
Good video I enjoyed watching it always more difficult than you think it is when you first start nice tractor Danny
It sure is Danny. Thanks for watching and the comments. BTW, it sure made this tractor more usable and valuable to me.
Hi sir where did you get the aluminum block on the tractor to hook the hydraulic lines to

Well I'm jealous! But great find and great installation.

Glad to see you recovered. Thanks for sharing. I have a 3000 and will start looking for a bucket like this. Was it hard to locate originally?
I had to drive about six hours away to find it. Since then I've found proxibid and they auction some loaders there.
I have the same loader on my oliver 550
Thanks. Good luck with yours.

That is a Tisco hydraulic block and was on the tractor when I purchased it. You can buy one from Quality Farm Supply online.

I haven't measured but it's higher than I ever thought it would reach. It should really help with the next box blind build.
Step 1 - Have 2 tractors 😂
Right!
