I’m currently doing a training on the epic system right now. I got a position as a health information management coordinator for a cardiac practice. My undergrad is exactly health information management ! So cool
I'm grateful to have found your videos. I have 22 years of patient care experience AND dyscalculia. I want to stay in Healthcare but need a career path. Finding your videos opened a path I didn't know existed
I know this is an old video but damn, I was raving for you when you said you passed. Epic does not play around with their exams!! I also took the full 2 hrs despite studying like a mad women for a week straight! They really make sure you know the content. 🎉 Now for the recert exam 😅
@christopher reed I make 6 figures + 15% yearly bonus. However, a great part of it is due to my work experience. I know people with the same degree who don't have work experience who, unfortunately, had to accept entry-level positions. Before my degree, I was making $90k a year (in Texas, which is great). This shows that work experience goes a long way.
Yes Courtney!!! Thank you for sharing. Please keep sharing because my goal is to get into HIT as well. I’ve been coding for 5 years and am ready to move on! That Epic campus is BEAUTIFUL!!! I watched someone’s video on here too, that shows the campus. I want to train at the HQ so bad! Everybody says their food is bomb! Congratulations on passing the module!!!! If possible, can you do a video that goes in depth about Epic PB Resolute?
I realized I didn't even need to watch this video soon after clicking, but I watched to the end because you are such a great speaker and really fun to watch. Very real and very nice. You seem like you'd be a good friend to have. I will probably go and find other ones you've done.
I literally just thought about you the other day. Good to see you. That creamer is the one that helped me transition fully to vegan from vegetarian. I needed my coffee to be nice and creamy..and not taste like coconut lol. I love that you expose yourself to all of the information to get a better understanding. Super smart..and congratulations!
MsSassyMT! How are you hun?! How is vegan life treating you? Thank you so much for the kind words and for your support!!! Sending you love and light! 🤗
I just had my interview this morning for an entry level epic application coordinator position. I think it well. Really hoping I get the position. Watching your videos have really helped me gain a better understanding of things and inspired me as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge - it is greatly appreciated😊
First, thank you for producing and releasing such a great informational video. I have seen my share of them. You should win an Oscar! Second, I am eager to work for Epic as a Nurse Project Manager, so I have been doing as much research as possible. You excite me that working for Epic has the culture that so many rave about. If you have any tips on how to to get a foot in the door I would be so thankful. Obviously, I have already applied, but now I want to spend my time figuring out what IT skills that would benefit me should I land an interview. I have been an RN for 10 years and have used Epic software for 6 years. TIA!!
Gosh I missed you videos! I recently made a slight career pivot and before I did I rewatch all your videos. I even applied for a revenue cycle position. I did not get it, but I landed a great position. Congrats on passing you exam! 🎊 🎉
