Love how Dan always takes the effort to understand the client's hair type, and tries to suit a haircut that is fitting. Most barbers just cut without properly understanding their client's hair type, especially not if he's a first timer.

Spot on! It's refreshing :) Just having completed barber's school, most try to smash out the same hair cuts on everyone, which doesn't really work. The ones that cut with deep consideration and thought like Dan, really stand out - as it just suits the head shape, hair type and lifestyle etc

Client walked in with a hairstyle closer to Holland’s than the end result. Probably just needed to be touched up and styled. Too much length was taken off making it impossible to get that same look. Tom Holland’s hair is pretty long in those movies it’s just pushed back.

My dad has a full head of hair still (age 74), but it is just very fine, even finer than with this gentlemen; it's baby fine, and you can hardly hold it between your fingers if you don't get it very wet. Glad I found this video today, adding it to my arsenal of videos to watch before we cut dad's hair. We have all had to learn with this pandemic, haven't we? :)

Thank you so much! From Dan - To do anything through my fingers eg, the top, texture etc I use Joewell C Series offset in white and then through the sides eg, scissors over comb I use Scissor Guru 7 inch offset.
