That was one heck of a wrestling bout he gave that concluded at 24:45. Nothing but great athleticism with two
very strong and physically different athletes. And good sportsmanship to boot, with a concluding handshake!

Really Great Movie. Robert Bradbury is a Great WRITER, and the folks in the acting have all done Great, in all of Bradbury and Steele's movies. I really enjoy them all and this one is Just Fine, too.

Lookalikes were a common storyline in these old pre-1940s westerns.

I noticed this same concept of the undercover lawman used in an old John Wayne movie of the same era. Also, John Wayne (or maybe it was another 30's western screen star) slid down that same wooden flume in one of his movies. Fun stuff to watch.

Yes, I saw that in a John Wayne film. I wouldn’t be surprised if Robert Bradbury directed both films.

The storyline is very similar to a John Wayne movie. I have it on disc but I can't recall the title.

To me, it's a toss-up for best western hero between Bob Steele and William Boyd, (Hopalong Cassidy). Love both of them.
