A wonderful cast of western actors, with versatile stuntman Bud Osborne, English comedian Jimmy Aubrey, George Chesebro, Lafe McKee and of course Bob Steele with Pirate The Horse.
At 49:24 The 2 outlaws got the script mixed up as to who did the blabbing and the note writing. I think the outlaw on the right jumped the gun and started talking for the outlaw on the right. lol : )
At 54:42 and 54:56 What do those people think that they are doing? Going to catch up to those speeding horses on foot!? Crazy! Must be overcome in the excitement of the moment.
At 49:45 and 49:53 , I think that both outlaws made up the script as they went along. HA! The one on the left acts like he is totally disgusted with the one on the right for messing up their parts. Probably the producer couldn't afford to do a re-take.
He had a long film career, lead actor in 280 silents, per IMDB he had 470 film credits over all. In the 20's he had his own comedy series with Oliver Hardy. Not bad for a "dodo," huh?
Love these old Westerns, thank you!!
This was a good Bob Steele movie and one I had never seen. And I have watched most of his movie many, many, times. Thanks for posting!

Mr Kimbell must have put it in high gear, he was the first to reach Bob and Kimbell at the fighting scene after running after the horses. 55:40

Oh Bob,,,

At 49:29 The outlaw on the left had to ad lib to make the conversation believable, after the outlaw on the left read the wrong script.. Ha!
At 25:58 They both went off without eating their breakfast.
Worse than that Bob's pal went off without finishing his beer.
That’s Silver from the Long Ranger,,,
At 55;12 After Bob knocks Baker off his horse and they start to fight, it looks like they are trying to tickle each other in the ribs. Crude! lol
Like get marry her with out him even talk her much in hole move lol that must way it done in old west ha ha ha
Might have been for the best. HA!
I just can't figure out why all the old westerns seem to have a dodo with the lead star to gum up the works but this guy is the worst.
