I just purchased my first mini,. It was just delivered a couple of hours ago. This video was helpful. Thanks.
The company i work for just purchased a mini excavator and this is a good teaching tool for our new operators
Wonderful demonstration! Thanks for breaking down excavator use into simple steps.
I like how you also teach the safety aspects of operating. Excellent!
Thank you for this video. Renting one of these this weekend and this is exactly what I needed
Thanks! I just rented one and start using it tomorrow to clean up damage from storms
Great videos! Wish I had watched before I got crash course on the jobsite. I found out the hard way that those things are easy to topple when lifting loads. Luckily I was swinging slow and kept the load close to the ground so it didn't topple the machine but it was bloody scary moment and dangerous. Few inches more or any sudden movement to the wrong direction would've done it. Was stable enough to get the experienced guy back in the cab to save the day. I would like you to have an episode on the mini excavator about those dangers. Say having a chunk of concrete or a boulder pinched with the thumb and swinging or placing it. Something safe for you to demonstrate the dangers for new operators. Many thanks!

There were a few times that that happened to me but in a 926m cat loader tho bc the ground was unstable/uneven and yeah its kinda scary but fun on your first 3 days
Thanks. Really interesting and helpful tips with my work as a gravedigger with a mini digger.
Great instructional video. Learned alot.
Thanks very much indeed!! 👍
Thank you anytime I watch your video it's like I am in the classroom. Thank you
This is great, I've been wanting to learn how to operate one of those for a while.. Thanks for these videos they're awesome 👍
Very good video on safety and mini operations.
I wondered how these things work, thank you!
Great video, I learned a lot from your video. Thanks
Wow,kool,Kool, I've learned so much from just watching you take your time exploring in detail an taking your time running the machine an explaining the functions, I've always seen from a distance operators perform most of these techniques an wondered how they do that,ty,I'd love to have one like this.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. !
Thank you this what I was looking for ! 👍
Thanks for the training...I am now looking for an excavator to learn operating.
AWESOME TUTORIAL AND EXPERIENCE ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO SIR I APPRECIATE IT
really great video! Definitely a great video for a starter
Great job, thanks for the video !!!!
i like your videos because you are showing everybody step by step
Thanks...appreciate that!
Keep the Videos Coming Appreciate all The How to Operate Vids I’m a upcoming Operator would even be better if you Can Double the content that you guys Upload.
Thanks for the comment!
Waou that was excellent for us the bigginers
This dude explained tip top ...Cheers 🦾
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing
thank you sir. your video makes my day
Union Laborer and I'm about to rent a mini so I can grade out a pool and definitely needed some pointers lol appreciate the video!!!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge....
Great intro! Very helpful for beginners (like me).
Very good operator...very experienced
Make sure to point the MOST important thing to do on any piece of equipment is to check the oil
Thank you very very much am really very very very happy for this lesson
Great video...what are your thoughts on working with the final drive at the front vs the back (larger escavator videos advise to keep it at the back when working)
Very good 👍 thanks again I used work in the army and sure miss it .
Awesome - amazing , thanks .
Those are so fun to operate
I usually only track with my hands if I’m loading plant onto float. Get a lot more feel and control that way.
Thank you. Hopefully I'm a little more prepared for renting tomorrow
Great video thank you!
Thanks for the comment!
Good demonstration.
I know it is advanced and you have covered it a bit in other videos, but I'd love to see a video on mastering jump turns in a mini excavator. This is an area I struggle in as a newer operator.
We've never done one specific to the mini-ex so maybe we'll do that.
Thanks for vieos. This realy help me.
You’re welcome!
Thank you I really appreciate it thanks again
Very informative will love to own one
Your a good teacher bud.
Thanks...appreciate that!
Great video thanks for sharing be safe out there have a great Blessed week brother God Bless
grading my yard and moving a retaining wall on monday... wash me luck!
Before starting the equipment it is a good habit to sound the horn to warn other personnel that the equipment is being stated or movement
Thank You
Terrific video....
Man I need one of these
Good job bruther thank you
Thanks!
Great vlog I really appreciate it and I will share this I really enjoyed it I also learned something new thank you 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💯
Glad you enjoyed it
Very good video! Tip for the video editor there: it would be much easier to see what controls do if you put video in the video, for example top 3/4 of the screen excavator from the distance and on the bottom of the screen joystick video, both videos synchronised. :]
Very good operator I like it
Thanks Mate!
Great Chanel ,best from Australia 🦘
I just got my ticket on excavator my age 71 year's old still need more practice don't know anyone who would give me a go have front end loader also roller ticket but like your work cheers.
Excelente
Loving construction machinery but not being an operator I find these videos so interesting.
thanks for the comment
They are very very easy to run.

Hello, I have quick question. Did the machine(excavator) have “button” to change operations? In Europe we have little different: in USA if you want turn right/left you use right joystick in Europe we use left.
God job...god excavator 👍👍👍
Remember you can only swing left 16 times before you unscrew your self.
2. Why should you observe your immediate surrounding before you begin to operate the mini-excavator?
Great video! I don't know if i could drive iso, sae felt more natural to me having curl and stick in the same hand
Very good explains.
Thank you.
Thanks for the comment!
Tnx sir for share this vedeo
I also operate with the blad behind me where possible. It definly feels more stable. I guess because the load is spread across the blade t the back and not the tracks which can pivot around each point, if tht makes sense. With the blade on the same side as the operation, it feels like the base of support is smaller nd outside the centre of gravity
Nice job bro..
Nice👍👍

Blade front or back depends on the digging situation for me
Great
For years I operated a backhoe when I started with excavators I was extremely rough. Was very difficult trying to relearn and think backwards
Wonderful please ❤
Hi. Do you have training school? Where are you located. Its good show.
Can you do a video of a kubota mini excavator and the m62 tlb
crazy idea but could you guys do a video with a PC8000 that would be very fun to watch
YES...would love to do that. Hoping our friends at Komatsu can get us to one of their mining operations one of these days.
Just starting, I forget the blade is down if it's in the back and I tear up my lawn when moving on tracks so I like it in the front.
Can you do a video on a Komatsu backhoe loader?
Unfortunately Komatsu doesn't have backhoe loaders in the US. But we do plan to do some backhoe videos in the near future so stay tuned.
Please excuse my arrogance, do you have a video of the types of digging or scraping or facing techniques please. Thank you.
I don't think we have anything with specific types of digging. Might be something good for us to do in the future.
really good video, you may want to remind folks that depending where they are working, there could be license requirements to operate the mini.
Murica is my license.
Is there a way to turn off the movement alarm?
Hi was just interested because my son is having some work strating on Sunday and this might sound strange to you or I guess you might understand. Am mainly having a look because I want to show my animals what it looks like and the sound of the machinery while it's working so they won't be scared or traumatized by the equipment and the sounds. They will be a bit close to it so that's the main reasons why am looking at the video. Thanks for the information great video also. Ps. I have two macaws 5birds 1rabbit and two dogs yea so I just want them to be comfortable when the work is being done. And they are some very smart animals all of them so they will understand after I play this vedio for them. Have a great weekend.
We have a Kubota mini digger and we don't have a footpedal for our boom swing, is this normal on some machines? And I can only assume that it is the extra switch on the left lever. If you could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it
does it have the backhoe (boom swing) option? You would see a hydraulic arm at the base of the boom if it did. I can't say I've ever seen a mini-excavator that didn't have it? Depending on the model/size, once they get larger they don't have that. And for the controls I've seen both foot controls and joystick operated so you'd have to check your manual for that.
@@HeavyMetalLearning yep definitely has boom swing, it's probably on the joystick but it always seems to be on foot pedals in a lot of videos. Thankyou for the information and I'm really enjoying the videos!
Sounds like you have a Kubota kx41 the offset control is usually a button in the top of the left hand joystick
Good teacher, where is your school located please?I hear by want to be a operator.
when you are moving the machine with the tracks how do you prevent oscillation? When the machine "rocks" it causes you to lurch forward it back which causes you to extra push/pull the track controls and so then the machine lurchers and it causes more oscillation. Your arms are not resting on anything when operating the track controls so it facilitates this problem. The problem is less when using feet.
Hello, quick question. Is there an argument to learn ‘backhoe’ layout, which I would assume would allow you to jump to/from a backhoe/excavator? Otherwise it would be damn near impossible I’m guessing.
I saw a guy who can jump from backhoe to excavator no problem. But if he switches the excavator from ISO to SAE layout he struggles with it. Strange.
Am I an idiot asking a dumb question and you are to kind to reply as such?
good question. On most newer equipment it is very easy to switch the control configurations (either excavator or backhoe). So I recommend learning one way and sticking with that.
Heavy Metal Learning I’ve done more research and realised that it’s an age old question that does not really have a right answer!
@@HeavyMetalLearning said he
And hiw many attachment came with it?
can you do a video about the komatsu pc 55 mini excavator?? it can be good
We don't usually get down to model specific....this PC35 should be very similar controls.
That beep you hear upon turning on the ignition is your glow plugs heating up, correct?
no....most newer diesels don't use glow plugs anymore. Beep is just the machine doing it's system checks.
@@HeavyMetalLearning My new (2020) Kubota KX040-4 uses glow plugs.
@@HeavyMetalLearning Wrong, they still use spark plugs, but they are just really fast, so you don't notice. Same in modern diesel cars. Greetings from Holland
@@thebeastman1651At least in some models, the plugs start to glow the engine when you unlock it/open the door.
I share this site with all my clients who are the equipment business and sell equipment
Love to hear that...glad we can help!
Seatbelt i would if I had one😮
How much can that unit cost?
what would be the control if there was an auger attached ?
You will use the button on you right stick I believe, it’s been a while since I’ve operated a piece of machinery, could be a button on the left stick
generally its a thumb control, but have seen a some controlled with foot pedal...really depends on that specific unit you have.
I´m interested in a video about driving a mini excavator on a slope. I image there are safety concerns as they seem to have a rather high center of gravity.
Mini excavators are able to go on pretty steep slopes, but the tracks need to be in line with the slope. I like to go up steep stuff backwards, and use the arm of excavator to help push the machine up
Anyone have any tips and tricks for digging a trench or a small shallow pond in very soft wet clay to avoid getting the mini excavator stuck.
Got any metal sheets or steel sheets to walk on?
@@timothyjones4959 I don’t. I have some plywood, a small piece of plank, and metal frames.
What size do you need to clear trees for a property, similar to the one in the background
A dozer
