    Seminole is flood zone X, 5mins from Redington Shores & the trail is walking distance. Home prices here used to be $100k more but since the pandemic, I've noticed prices have become equal across the board. 😳 I'm definitely thankful for my purchase, even though I have a smaller home.

    Totally agree about 19. I have to commute down to Countryside everyday and you definitely have to be defensive driver here. I had a lady pull out and hit me last year and run. Luckily, I called the cops while following her to her house. Nothing happened to her outside of just paying for my damage. Cop was so nonchalant about her taking off bc it’s so common. Definitely agree about the traffic it gets old fast you just have to add that extra time into your commute.

    This was a great video! I wish there was some stuff about Largo, born and raised there and I serve on its planning board, but generally spot on

    I live in Atlanta and your videos always make me want to live in Tampa. I have visited a few times and I am so in love with the city and surrounding areas.

    Just got back from visiting my sister who just moved to Pinellas county. And I loved the vibe there. It was so quiet and peaceful, and everyone we encountered seemed to be really polite and easy going. Coming from Dallas TX, we were really impressed with the traffic, all week we were traveling during both morning and evening rush hour, speeds were slow, and things cleared up pretty quickly. Love your videos, I plan on moving to that area in the next couple years as well and, will keep your contact info when I start looking for a place. 😊

      That's awesome. It's so relative to what you are used to! I hope you had a great time when you were here.

    If your a resident? Then you've seen it change more then any past gen has. It is no longer a nice sleeper location? It's now a nice area thats the spot everyone was told.. "this is a nice spot"

    As a life long, third generation Pinellas county resident, they are precisely driven by making as many arrests as possible for federal funding that they use to import sand, and they are also precisely focused on utilizing child protective services to remove children for federal funding at even Statewide alarming rates, also, innocent of all charges??? Of course you are, because the Pinellas county sheriff doesn't care if you are or not, you're getting arrested period, even if you're the one that calls the police to help you with stolen property, which will happen to you frequently. Vacationing here? Two things you should know, the motto is come on vacation, leave on probation, come back on a violation..... And number two, don't pack anything at all, you're bringing home bedbugs, even the most expensive hotels have infestations of them, due to the motel hopping homeless and the hotel people invite those drug addicts into their rooms which brought the infestations into their nicer hotel rooms ... Don't ride in the beach trolleys, all of them are infested with the wood

    Halfway through the video and the problems have piled up too much already…sorry St. Petersburg, I’m out! I hear you’re becoming the San Francisco of FL and that’s very concerning.

    Pinellas sucks and the more liberal it gets the more it sucks. Lots to do but no where to park. The county is over populated, depends on their neighbors to provide them water and i havent touched on the traffic yet. Pasco is much nicer.

    • @LivinginTampa
      @LivinginTampa  ปีที่แล้ว

      I really like Pasco county too but Pinellas still draws more people. I'm sure it is the beach at first but then most people don't really go to the beach anyway..

      @@LivinginTampa "Pinellas draws more people" is the reason i like Pasco better lol 👍

      Feel free to move to Pasco. Pinellas has always been known for its moderation. It's something I'm very proud of. I'm proud that Bill Young a Republican congressman brought home billions of dollars to our community. I'm proud that Charlie Chris a Democrat brought billions home to our community. William Cramer is another prime example. Proud moderate Republicans that is always focused on protecting our waterways and natural environment protected us from getting disgusting oil rigs near our shores. I'm proud of what my county does. Whether it be on the right or left. We normally do the right thing.

      Pinellas county has more money, more wealthy people , more investors, more infrastructure, nightlife, art scene, beaches, etc. That’s why people find pinellas attractive and Pasco unattractive.

    • @saltminer9120
      @saltminer9120 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jolus6678 Pinellas County HAS NO WATER. They draw most of their water from Hillsborough County. Its an over populated peninsula that without a lot of help from its neighbors couldn't survive.

    in comparison to all your other videos, this one seems like you filmed it in a tired moment---it comes across as very negative for Pinellas County ---do we really need to hear about crashes and unsafe crossings, and US 19 as a horror?? You just produced a video that will dissuade buyers and send them thinking to look somewhere else. Living in Pinellas, there is far more positive factual things you could have said that entice us to live here . Rush hour anywhere is crowded ( think any CA ,NY, NJ ,MA highway ) but US 19 rebuilt as it is can speed you to many places. Time to rethink this review as far too lifeless and biased.

    • @Victory8Slots
      @Victory8Slots ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I disagree. I plan on moving here this year. The video was well put, and sometimes, even if you don't want to hear it, the facts are facts. If it's a dangerous highway, then so be it. He wasn't saying that because to scare others but to warn others that you need to be more aware there. With the talk about the downtown, the beaches, and the vibe, I really like the sound of the area.

      19 is terrible. Beaches are great. Maybe the thing that was missed was how much fun stuff you can do without crossing the bridges. Tarpon, Dunedin, Clearwater and St. Pete all have great activities. I'm headed to the Sunken Gardens tomorrow.

      Biased? It would be biased if Sam didn't mention a few of the negatives in the Tampa area. Time to rethink your review as far too supportive of a dangerous stretch of asphalt.
