Only about a year after this Michaels voice was changing, I feel he hit his child hood voice peak around age 12 - 13, around the time this was preformed, then his teenager voice from about age 16 was like pure silk
At young age MJ already cemented his name in the music industry then came his Mowtown Billie Jean performance. He was demonized because he was indeed the music industry himself. He's been gone for a decade now but nobody yet came close to his level of fame.
I love Smokey but in no stretch of the imagination is his original better than MJ’s cover even he has said this MJ BLEW THAT RECORD OFF THE CHARTS!🤩🙌🏽👑🔥🌟
the losing you song is actually a cover as well of the Temptations original version (I know) Im losing you. Check that version out as well! Its cool bc most of the songs they sang were probably covers from other Motown songs if they were not written specifically for J5
The Jackson 5 achieved 4 or 5 #1 songs in a row in 1969-1970. This was a record only achieved (at that time) by the Beatles and The Supremes (not sure about Elvis Presley.) But after all these big hits they released a song that only went to #20. It was called "Maybe Tomorrow." But it was a great song that is worth checking out. Let me also recommend a J-5 song called "Forever Came Today." This was a song that several people at Motown recorded, but no one could make it a hit. The Supremes and the Isley Brothers both did it. I personally think the J-5 did it best.
MJ was a true prodigy! I can't think of any other kid with a voice like that 🔥💪🙏
closest would be jackie evancho
Mrs. Jackson said Michael was born with an old soul.

Michael voice was out of this world!
I enjoyed looking at you reacting to MJ. Like an angel from Heaven, here to entertain us for a while.
I remember one time hearing Bill Maher ( hater ) saying that the Jackson 5 was just a pop boy band... This is soul music. 😎👍🏾
Thanks young people for recognizing talent without internet and social media ❤

I love both versions. Of course I am a big Smoey fan, He wrote si many its for Motown, including My girl the big hit by the temptations.
Smokey Robinson wrote many of some of Motions greatest hits including My Girl the temptations greatest hit in my opinion.

Ok… first time here. You guys seem to be genuine. I'm usually rather skeptical.
I think you had a good reaction.
