As far as I'm concerned the mystery actually pretty cool. It's like.. (spoilers) ... ... being on a Treasure Island adventure but discovering your own boring mundane suburban home is everyone else's sought after treasure island. Like you've been living, working, going to school on the lost continent of Atlantis all your life and didn't even know.
No i havent watched the show yet but I've heard it's good. It just hasn't caught my interest enough to try. But if more people want my review or take on it I may
Of the episodes that are out so far, I thought the first one was the weakest because it was a bit slow setting things up and trying to hit on the 80's nostalgia factor (but in space) a little too hard. But the episodes since then have gotten progressively better, IMO. (Compared to the Acolyte which got progressively worse!) I especially liked the most recent episode where (no spoilers) one of the characters that I thought was the weakest characterization-wise got more depth. I hope they keep doing that with all the characters as the series goes on. So far, I'm enjoying the mystery aspect as well. It gives me some Treasure Planet vibes sometimes, but with its own unique twists (really quite clever ones, IMO) so I don't know exactly what will happen by the end. Fingers crossed the story keeps up this upward trajectory in quality.
@@authorjoannawhite Yeah, it's definitely meant to be kid-friendly. Like, you've got the typical content aimed at child viewers: A lighter tone, the kids are the main characters and are doing the big decision-making that moves the story forward, nobody gets killed on-screen, the main children get threatened, but never actually harmed, etc. But it's also clearly aware that adults are watching who want a fun Star Wars show. So, it slips in nostalgic elements at times, has good Star Wars world building that long-term fans would appreciate more than a random child viewer, checks in on the kids' parents to see how they're reacting to their children being missing and the action they're taking to get them back, and stuff like that. So, I'd say that it's geared toward the whole family to sit down and enjoy together.
@eruvandib.676 ohh okay gotcha. That makes sense. Still not sure if I'll watch it because they have screwed up so much and this isn't the show we wanted or needed.

I don't want spoilers but I'm glad it's cool. I've sense heard it's pretty good but it still seems like it's for children
Have you watched the show yet? Do you still feel about it the way you did about the trailer? There are four episodes out by now.

Thanks for telling me about it! It seems like a kids show so does it seem geared more toward children?
