Been playing since 2017 with over 13k hours between both my accounts 1 eod and now 1 unheard of its pains me to think all I'm worth for paying full price 111.89$ usd for the upgrade two days later drop the price and only plan to give us a key to the game we own the game already tf

Been done with EFT when i realized that BSG are unable to control the Hacker Issue, this is just another Nail in the already sealed coffin.
Same with the new Calling in team mates feature… will lead to more RMT. BSG will just nerf in into the ground and make it pointless. Just like marked room keys

There is already a free version called SPT-Aki, with a lot of mods and it's legal too (I mean not bannable, I've tried).
@@Imhotephp They 100% can ban you, they just don't really have a way of detecting it. They still have the right to terminate your access if they know you're doing it. But as we've seen a lot of streamers are somewhat protesting with it, I wouldn't let that confirm YOU won't get banned if they somehow find out ((which they probably wont)

EoD has always been pay to win. And everyone says rubles mean nothing. So I don't understand the uproar over this. It feels to me like some people woke up, felt it was bullshit from the initial release, then everyone else hopped on board. I don't want a PvE mode. It's a crutch that will make you worst at the game. It's why I don't play SPT. The price is a bit much, I feel EoD owners should get it for 60 bucks but I'm not throwing away a game for a version I don't have to buy. This community continues to show its the worst lol.

When it comes to me personally, as a standard edition user, I'm far more outraged about the whole Pay-To-Win benefits that they added to both the new version and EOD.
Although this is probably the least severe issue in all of this.

All of grey zones best attributes can be directly credited to the unreal developers. Everything else (flaws) are from its devs. It will never be anything

Quit 3 years ago for good, happiest decision I've made in gaming. I was addicted to tarkov when I first bought standard edition late 2018. A month in I knew it was my favorite game out, so I upgraded to EOD looking forward to getting ALL the future content. Slammed over a thousand hours into the game in just over a year while working all the time. If I wasn't out with buddies tarkov was what I was doing, and it was essentially the only game I played for awhile. Once the shittier (in my opinion) updates started rolling out around 2020 I started to lose interest. I could see where the game was headed.
Right around when they added the test server is when I quit for good. I was invited to it, along with an invite to the discord. I reported many bugs, and kept bringing up issues I thought were rather big and especially annoying because of how many years some of these bugs had been around for. Needless to say, I argued with the wrong people and was promptly banned. Only came back for Arena (which is complete dogshit), other than that I am completely done. This is not the straw that broke the camel's back in my opinion, the camel's back has been broken for awhile tarkov players are just masochists who enjoy pain. No, this BSG is setting fire to the straw and laughing.

I have bought EoD because I wanted to support the game development. I saw the game as the most unique and high potential looter-shooter without any real competitors. My thoughts were always, once the v1.0 will drop, we will all be on the same ship - basic edition. Alpha container, no trader rep boost, no additional starting kits.... but now this ?! The game has lost complete touch and sense for what they were thriving for when they announced EFT

There is no miscommunication, with things on the website being changed... the website was edited LIVE as certain streamers were looking into the details to find out if EoD really got scammed... its not miscommunication, its being scummy and un-truthful...
I feel like scam would be the wrong word to use for this discussion, but what if the purchase of the unheard edition and upgrade is meant for all the EOD users to be removed for that season pass(DLC) clause? Surely if it’s about server/load issues for PVE servers, I’m sure most of us would be okay to pay a reasonable fee for the mode to support it.

4:45 This was the line that caught my attention. According to Nikita, the people who paid over 4x the amount of the base game to support the game are not true believers. They never were. Coupled with the statement “everything is going according to plan” literally means that they were planning this. I don’t think this is actually the case of course. I think something happened behind the scenes to make Nikita shit a brick and give us the god awful response. Perhaps a considerable amount of the staff at BSG heard about this and didn’t feel good about it.

If the server costs are the reason why it's so expensive, then give people the option to host the raids on their own computers like Offline Mode or SPT/Projekt Fika
Its not that easy and still carries a development cost through future patch cycles to maintain. Not to mention giving everyone the server client to run locally is basically giving cheat devs the keys to the kingdom.

They could solve the server cost issue on PVE if they would run the environment on the PC thats playing, I mean I dont need a server for a "singleplayer" mode. Even COOP could run on the host. So that would be no or at least small costs for servers. Also why the very high price for not EOD owners? Some just look for a PvE Tarkov, why not a standalone PvE game then, they can add special editions but no game worth 250 to begin with.
All reasonable questions, asked in a reasonable way..... rare these past couple of days. The simple answer is that hosting a multi player PVE on a local computer would be a terrible player experience due to hardware and internet bandwidth limitations. It would be possible to "host" a single player PVE, but then it is not really an online game anymore, and not really Tarkov. Which is really the heart of the issue, since I got into Tarkov in 2019 Nakita has been very open, and adamant, about his vision for the game and that offline / PVE is not part of that vision. I am frankly shocked that Nakita even got to the point of being willing to offer a PvE game option at all; and as stated in the interview it will be available in some form for everyone at launch (whether that is free or as an expansion who knows) With few other exceptions (Star Citizen being the most notable) I have found few game developers that actively try to interact with and get feed back from the players. A great example of not doing this is Diablo 4, that was a $90 turd that I uninstalled after less than 25 hours and the Devs don't care one bit about the player base. As for $250 being "worth it", that is up to each player. As an EoD owner, I found the $150 well worth the money; where I do not see the value in upgrading to the Unheard Edition, so I won't... not mad that they offer it though. Just like it does not affect me at all that Star Citizen has multiple packages offered at $5,000 USD and higher; I bought my $90 combo that got me a ship & squadron 42 and have had fun with the game.

The guy is burning his product because he knows he cannot deliver. Nothing works, the net code is still garbage, hackers are running riot, and every patch brings mountains of issues. He is treating it like its a released game, not early access.

The new pve mode don't need online servers for single player.. they can have a private server hosted by the player through software. They only need online servers for co-op.. its a waste of money to pay for servers for single players.. this really shows the lack of dev experience their team has..
The spt modders figured this out YEARS ago... the pmcs are just raiders with basic bitch gear even when high level.. they don't go to quest areas.. the pve needs a LOT of work to even be close to what the pvp experience offers.. right now it's lacking severley..

If the offline/single player is to expensive why not just make it peer to peer, and allow the host to run a small server of 5 people (including the host) and that would reduce to near nothing. That just sounds like a cop out, also you can't say you don't have money problems then complain about costs, doesn't make sense at all lol.
In a year or so, we are sunsetting the game due to new game development, here is a kickcstarter you can donate money to fund the project. And later on, due to kickstarter not raising enogh funds we are canceling new game develpoment. RIP.

Literally the only reason I bought EOD was for all future DLC's, I didn't buy it for the extra stash size and starting loot, if anything I wish there was a toggle for those features because it removes gameplay, BSG literally ran a scam and I won't be playing this game any more, I'd rather try SPT at this point lmao

Just got SPT and I can say for a fact, SPT is worth it! You can basically design the game how you want it and have PMC’s feel more realistic, it’s not perfect but much better than anything BSG can do, when you die Yk it’s not because of a hacker haha

TLDR for the only explanation that makes sense imo: High attention to details makes development prohibitively expensive. No money left to finish the release version as Arena was the last hope. Microtransactions failed to cover costs: the audience is too grown-up. Had to go back to proven monetisation method of EOD-like pack. No money to pay for PvE servers for all EOD owners. No publisher to support. Can not tell the truth as the creditors would finish the company the next day. Will release an unfinished game to cut costs, lose reputation and will be closed. Maddox Games story repeated.
You can not play pve without owning tarkov. Imo that means it is an dlc, because you can't play pve without tarkov. And it is just tarkov without pvp so it ahould cost less then normal pvp tarkov. It would be awesome for new players to progress through pve and then upgrade for10-20 bucks for the full pvp tarkov standard edition for the full experience

Look, im not a huge BSG shill, I hate many of the decisions they make but I get where they are coming from on this one. I dont think the single player mode should be treated as "DLC", theres no new content, its the same game but they need seperate servers and seperate development effort to maintain it through future patches. If people want it they should have to pay for it or noone would get it because its not finacialy feasible for the company to support. I do think it should be sold as a standalone purchase though, they are way off base there.

SPT servers, even with the MPT mod, can support a maximum of about 10-15 people at once MAXIMUM before the server starts to die. It's not designed for thousands of people.
PVE Tarkov is played on game servers, because BSG is lazy. SPT has a local server.
