We scoured the junkyard to find us some bucket seats, we found wheels and had to have the honed out to fit over the large d21 hubs. We also got a center consule from Rohde Fab.
A truly one-of-a-kind classic episode. Way too often we forget about the joys of owning a static dropped mini truck. I am a firm believer that every mini trucker should own at least one static drop vehicle. Not just their bag and bodied truck or juiced and bodied mini truck💯
heck yea dude! this mini truck is cool as hell! big motivation to keep the mini scene alive and teacing the new crowd a few things here and there is cool too... rock on
I did that with a hole saw perfect. Just go really slow just touching it until it gets a good grove that will stop it from wabbling just go really soft and easy.
Re-drill your hanger bud. Rohde Fab is awesome and great Hardbody gear. And people need to check out his TH-cam channel show some support behind him too.
Sweet truck and video bro! I've got a static hardbody with leafs removed and air shocks. Anytime I have to haul anything with some weight I just blow some air in the shocks and it rides lovely.
Lovin the new content! Awesome video! The filming and editing is bang on. Such a rad little truck. That center console was a good touch. Once that wheel gap is taken out, this truck is gonna look so good.
Love this build! It kinda the same as my d21…. I thought I would bag it to change it up but now I’m not convinced 🤔 (I do have others that are bagged, so I’m not missing out on air ride). Looking forward to what’s to come!
@Grinder TV truck is looking good! I have a 95 kingcab and I got belltech drop leafs for it and 3” belltech blocks for the back with belltech and nitro drop 2 shocks in the from I got belltech 2 inch drop spindles and reindexed the torsion bars then lowered them to match the rear. Rides better than stock I have 17 inch Titan SE wheels
Nice find on those wheels, seats and other parts. Jake at Rohde Fab does make some cool stuff and some Nissan D22 specific stuff. I was going to make that suggestion before seeing this episode. Steve has a really cool garage/shop. Looking forward to the next episode.
hahaha that they would not. AZ has some of the nicer roads for sure. I def went a little smaller than first thoughts. But...we will see how it goes haha
@@GrinderTV I get that, just curious because I'm trying to find the right sidewall height of tire for my truck, just curious on the specs of the tires.
@@GrinderTVlong shot but I need help finding a set of rims for my 720 Datsun I just need all the specs of the rims please 🙏 complete rims size and tires as well i really really appreciate it if you reply 🥹
Damn playa, I didn't see that coming.
Respect the shout out and deep dive into the build! 1 Vote for airshocks with the rear
Those tires got a smile out of me.

Dude!! You took my suggestion on Rhode Fab! Or maybe you already knew about him. :) Great choice.
He was suggested by many. I appreciate it for sure.
I love Steve! Great guy. Also you better sell this before summer or you're going to burn the flesh off your right arm.
Love this build series. Man, boring the wheels to fit takes me back!

Great Episode! I appricate Abner being the dad we all need! Educational!
The deleted headrest looks great on those seats
Loving the Hardbody videos man. Great way to show people wanting to build a simple mini truck.
Loving this budget build.

Yo nice build so for and good rim tip on how to do it right and safe.
Thanks man appreciate it
Looing good, amigo. Can't wait to see it here in Texas next weekend. You are driving it out here, right?
Not this go around. Still needs some things before I take it on it’s first road trip.
Nice...

That’s pretty close to what I have in mind for this one too. Sounds like it’s super low too. Love it
I remember getting z71 wheels bored out for my hardbody!

Love the video Brian . Can’t believe you didn’t text me updates ….. fuck man . Also drop off my bags to Trevor hahaha
haha Sometimes a surprise is fun. I am putting those bags on the Nissan...lolol
Blocks and air shocks in the back. Should be ok for your vender stuff
Shit those wheels look nice on there
Thanks dude. I am stoked on them
You must have some nice roads, where you live.. those "rubber band" tires wouldn't last in NY state lol
hahaha that they would not. AZ has some of the nicer roads for sure. I def went a little smaller than first thoughts. But...we will see how it goes haha
As for the rear 3inch angled block and a hanger redrill will maintain spring pack weight capacity
Good vid, after that one is done lets get on that OBS.........
Might sell that and do more minis lol
There are also 18inch chrome beauty rings available that fit those wheels
I think that might look good
What size tire did you go with?
Dign the silver steelies up against the silver paint #minitruckin
#MiniTruckin
Does the cup holder get super hot?
I didnt own it through the summer but I would assume it does. If I would of kept it I probably would of wrapped it with some sort of material.
*Concentric, not square.
What was wrong with other seats?
Bench seat all beat up
What are those wheels off of
Nissan Titan
What yr what size are they
Not sure what years they came on but they are 18x8. They def were on 2004-like 2012 at least. There was a lower model.
You could have gotten a center console from a 2001 nissan Xterra or frontier instead 😂😂😂
Ya I know. But this one is custom and bolts right in…….
@@GrinderTVok, but does it look good and hold your beverage too?
Wish this wagon wheel and thin tire craze would go away. They look stupid looking.
What look do you prefer? And would you like everything to only look like what you want?
Respect 💪
What size tires are you running??
Small ones. It will make more sense when I lower it…. A lot.
