my daughter today said.. I need a small pencil case, so I found your tutorial and she said perfect! I made it up and she's happy..thanks for the cute case!
@TheCraftyGemini thank you so much! Can't wait to make some of these fun little projects. My children, niece and nephews are going to love these as well. I'm do happy to have found your channel. Thanks again.
Not me running to Joann’s to grab more fabric for this project . I don’t need it fabric but I def need interfacing! Thank you for such a good tutorial in just the right time 😊
This is an excellent tutorial! A bit fast for me but then again I'm a bit old. 🙂 I thought I would have to look through several tutorials, but this one is where I will stop. Thank you once again!
Is there a reason for not boxing the corners by cutting out the squares when sewing the bag together so there aren't little triangles inside? Hope that made sense 😊
You can, it just won't have as much body. Try using two layers of SF101 to make the exterior a little more stiff. But it will work either way! Happy sewing!
I was thinking that in its flat state, this wd be great for storing all the extra feet for a sewing machine or serger, to keep them all together, yet the zip will keep from spilling. I’m sure it wd work in its boxed state, too. You cd even sew on a row or two of fold over elastic to keep them in place. 😊
I’m so glad I found you. I’m 66 and making gifts for family members. Your tutorials and voice are so easy to follow and listen to. Thank you.
Happy to help!

@@1dCasey Silly me. I thought that button was for some kind of Settings. Thank you for your help. Now I know I will enjoy this tutorial!
Hi! Thanks, great tutorial!
I was wondering is it possible to use this method to make a slip book cover?

Thanks! Love this!
Can you tell what type of cloth did i want to take for exterior
Cute. What kind of iron do you have and is it light weight? Mine is. Getting too heavy for my wrists.
I have this iron the 1800-watt version (aff link): amzn.to/4d6lcxw and I think it's lightweight at ~3.5 lbs.
I have this iron & love it, light weight & stays hot.
Thank you x
Thanks for the tutorial! What is the final length of the pouch?
Hi Vanessa, thank you for the video. May I ask which juki you have. In the market for a new machine. Thanks
Hi! Very cute ❤. Can I ask what was the finished size of your pouch as you made it?
Great tutorial 😊. What is the purpose of the wooden tool you use right after you press the fabric? Thanks
@TheCraftyGemini do you have a tutorial like this but has an elastic on it to attach to a journal?
Can we use SF 101. Because I order the light fusible batting and waiting to receive it
You can, it just won't have as much body. Try using two layers of SF101 to make the exterior a little more stiff. But it will work either way! Happy sewing!
@@TheCraftyGemini I was thinking that two maybe put two of them but I will wait for my order thank you
The fun part is choosing fabric for the recipient
How about i can used 9 inches zipper

Really wish you would slow down the video like you used to do back in the day. I don't care for the sped up videos.
Otherwise, nice project.
