Helldivers 2 New Enemy Faction Coming

- Helldivers 2 has been absolutely amazing! The servers have been at capacity for a few days now, with the devs working on increasing the limit. While this happens, could there be a new threat lurking about in the star system? The Illuminate might be the next faction the Helldivers must defend Super Earth against!
helldivers.fandom.com/wiki/Th... - เกม
I haven't completed the video yet, but there was a news broadcast in game where they stated "Rumors of Illuminate sightings are the work of dissidents", further teasing their presence in game
That’s awesome!
Whats that?
@@shjskskasiosoala2449guessing illuminates are the new enemy faction
The Requisition NPC by the ship spawn point comments that "The 'Robot faction' (I forget their name) is soon going to go the same way as the illuminate" or something to this effect, and in that moment I knew this was the answer. I love ironic logic, where the NPC is definitely right, just not in the way they wanted.
i heard something like “sightings of illuminate are to be treated as treason”
I would love to see the illuminates in helldivers 2 as a faction with way less numbers, but way stronger individuals
It would be also interesting to see the automatons start onboarding termind planets and we end up fighting both of them
@@DownloadableContent oh boy! That would be my dream that I have since helldivers 1
Multiple factions in the same instance would be very cool. But it sounds difficult on a technical level
Maybe these multiple factions could be sued against each other.
For example, terminéis and automations will target each other if a Helldiver isn’t near them.
@@snappa_tvi think of a couple ways they could do it, maybe have them do infighting or something. could honestly work, game runs well so i dont see why it couldn’t work
If I remember correctly, the way the illusionist "mind fcked" you was by reversing your key inputs. Up = down, left = right. This effected you in both movement and strategem calling.
Edit: 1k likes. 🥳🙌
Sounds annoying
oh, it was. of course, you could avoid it, or adapt, and it only lasted around 5-7 seconds.
honestly sounds better than the one automaton modifier that mixes your stratagems. have to type in my 500kg 5 different times before i’m already on fire
it also affected your aiming making you aim in the exact opposite direction (time to invert those controls at random)
That is sooooo evil
"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, director."
Nice Vader reference 😅
Also if you listen to dialogue you would know this is the first helldivers deployment in 100 years. And that they were only really being used for “compliance missions”
I really hope we get random worlds that revolt and we get to fight a human faction
Wouldnt make sense lorewise. Why break off into a smaller, less powerfull faction when there are Two (maybe later three) factions trying to destroy you as a whole race.
@@bercor4948 never stopped dumb planetary governors in 40k 🤷♂️ lol
I was thinking about this Bonepickers - a Human Pirate and Revolutionary Faction that do not want to live under Managed Democracy seen and referenced to as " Traitors and Ingrates". They also attack Super Destroyers in space with thier Scrappers and board and fight on board adding a new dimension. They can be used as a random encounter/spanner in the works during missions.
This would be great to take advantage of the dismemberment system in the game
@@Seblarnikaiken_ it’d be really funny to hear ideal chatter about how helldivers are absolutely brainwashed and there’s no point even trying to reason with them. Or how the bugs and automatons aren’t real, that they’re just propaganda to keep people in line.
They should also make the observers start showing up on the planets we are fighting on before they officially announce the faction so it would be an unknown threat for players
For those out of the know that would be just a "WTF did I just shoot" moment. But considering what they did with the Automatons and Terminids, it might be nice to just leave Observer shells laying on a few planets, because the Illuminate have upgraded their gear. So we now have extra weaponized drones, while still having watchers. And a slight chance of their overall forces
Are these factions friendly to each other? If not have a few of them fighting and if you don't stop them from doing enough damage they start taking the planet.
I'm sure the skull headed killer bot woth chainsaws for arms is really friendly when you get to know him.
Being on opposite sides of the galaxy map, it's possible they've never encountered each other.
Mixed faction warfare could be interesting.
That would be a fun easter egg or a treasure goblin kind of mechanic.
bro the players ain't ready for the Illuminate yet, give them a few more days to get used to how the bots fight so they can level and get well equipped for them
The illuminates will destroy us
I don't know word DISMANTLE mean anything to Illuminist....they never be destroyed only CORRUPTION,plus they already there... It's just to make it push.. that's the reason why Helldiver didn't get Exo 51 & 44...we know Illuminist will be the most dangerous factions in Helldiver
Dude we aren't ready because the game itself isn't ready. Way to many bugs, and not enough servers.
@@robertw1800agreed
I don’t think people understand how strong the Illuminate are. They tore through people in the first game. I’m really hoping they are the ones coming back.
The 3rd enemy, the servers!!!
Yep part of the reason i deleted that 🗑️
@@Saanfraanciscooh shut up cry baby literally the only bad thing is the servers for now the game itself is amazing it'll be fixed soon

@@Saanfraanciscoyou get in in about 15 minutes, are you slow?
@@023Whiplash Some people wait many hours.. I still don't personally feel its a great reason to delete the game
The Automatons share similarities to the cyborgs from the 1st game. If you talk to the guy by the Globe Map on your ship, he gives you a brief run down on the Automatons. He basically says they came out of no where, and they aren't sure where they came from. That we will learn more after we destroy their fabricators (Which all of us Hell Divers are doing right now in missions)
You have to remember this game is set 100 years after the 1st game. So they could either be an army built by the Cyborgs, or they are what the cyborgs became after they gave up their biological bodies.
There's dialog with the ship engineer that states that the Cyborgs have been put into forced labor in the mines of Cyberstan for the last 100 years.
I think theyre still cyborgs gone full robot like quake, helldiver players get covered in blood when fighting them
Remember that the super earth government is a fascist democracy not everything they say should be trusted, if you want any proof the automatons are linked to the cyborgs just look at the symbol they both use, it is identical.
This game has been a pleasant surprise. I also love that everyone that’s big into vr also seems to love it for some reason
Yea I have been loving it!!
a vr port of this game would be insane, probably wouldn’t fight the automatons there though
game? what game? a hell diver should NOT be wasting his or her time indulging in common entertainment to ensure his or her brain is primed for the trials that come in combat.
@@Alak-Hul_Darkbladepray for the epilepsy gods
Hey… how’s bout you collab with someone to make a VR mod for this?
im more for the idea that rebels of some sort will be a different faction, or at least a minor part in the war, since people on the ship talk about dissidents and clues ingame indicate that super earth has a problem with rebellious people. Theres a little tooltip you can click on if you find a forklift that says "Used for carrying dissident cages".
Would be funny to have a communist faction
Hybrid races at a later date could be interesting.
Personally if I had to add a faction it would be rebels
@@Saberfighterx I actually think they should add the Illuminids BUT instead of just aliens they could give this new faction some rebel humans.
I think the rebel group is going to be the great grandchildren of the original Helldivers from the first game. It would make sense that the families of the people that had to sacrifice themselves for nothing would be the ones most willing to be upset with that government. It would be awesome if they had modified versions of old HD armor and stratagems too.
Something about the automatons upgrading themselves over the course of the game is so cool to me. It makes sense for the bugs to stay at the same level, getting bigger or more dangerous as we get closer to their home planets, but the automatons are smart, they can think and strategize, so it makes sense that they would launch these attack campaigns as a front for their real goal, which is searching for potential weaponry or armaments. I was also hoping that on some of the territory borders, like the border between Bugs and (X Faction) could have conflicts in which these two factions fight for the planet themselves while we also fight to liberate them, with some actions increasing our own liberation stat, while also increasing one factions ownership over the other. Even Anti-SuperEarth groups cropping up on or near Super Earth, "terrorists" who are trying to change or stop Super Earths control over the galaxy would be cool, as we would be forced to take our focus away from these factions as we fight to protect Super Earth itself.
That thing about enemy factions also competing with each other in the sector map is one of the most important things to me; nothing makes me lose interest in games like this faster than the developers adding all sorts of factions yet for some reason the players are the literal center of the universe and everyone everywhere ONLY wants to fight us.
It instantly makes everything feel completely artificial, kills the atmosphere, and ruins the entire "the story develops based on the actions of all the players" idea that they've been praised for thus far.
I know they probably won't, as the vast majority of people simply do not care, but I can hope.
What if the Illuminate freed the bugs from the farms and made the automatons. It’s been stated that the Automatons aren’t an evolution of the cyborgs but something else.
Not a bad idea
well that could mean lots of things, Automatrons could be an AI designed by cybords to fuse their minds and technology, but it could get rogue and simply exploit the original cyborgs, incluiding their organics to develop more of their own... meaning that well, "their new design does not respond to cyborgs anymore, but to a digital being"
The automatons bear the cyborg insignia
I would love to encounter other squads when planetside, even if it was just the ghost of squads fighting. They could prevent squad grouping by having it so the aliens will detect larger groups after a minute or 2, so you could only have a brief encounter, share ammo or equipment and move on :D
So fun fact something like this already exists, a perfect example would be when you see a icbm go off in the distance that’s another team on the planet that triggered the detonation
@@chubsmcgintirealso while it's not 1 to 1 the starships are indicative of actual other players and when they are on mission the ships will start cycling their graphics so firing down lasers and launching pods, etc. So when you see all these ships doing nothing either your matchmaking is broken, or those players are legit AFK, typically I attribute it to broken matchmaking, but there has been one time when I know the matchmaking was working, it was just past midnight on a work day, and a whole planet of a few hundred helldivers were all inactive.
@@chubsmcgintire interesting didn't know that

Kinda makes sense with the new free stratagem “EMP orbital strike” maybe it’ll play a key role in disabling these guys’s energy shields and weapons
I think they gave thay out because players were having trouble with the bots. The EMP stuff does really well on the bots.
@@TheBluerayxx yea makes sense lmao
My only guess is the illuminate from the first game. They're the only other of the the 3 factions in the helldivers universe that isnt in the 2nd game yet
Hasn't it been confirmed from the devs that the Automatons are not the Cyborgs?
The robots in this one aren't the same as before, they were cyborgs there, so maybe the illuminate will be changed up too
@@ProphitDesigns yeah pretty sure they explicitly called them a new faction, even if in this moment they're sort of a replacement faction for the cyborgs
Cyborgs to robots. Illuminate to Covenant!!!
The reason why we didn't get exo-51&44 is Bots and Bugs is not the strongest thing to deal with.😢
Ilumonate is coming obviously, but I wonder what the 4th faction will be, since we have 4 sides of the map that enemies can come from.
Also the game heavily implies there are "dissidents", traitors to democracy in our midst. I wonder if there'll be an uprising of humans in the future as well.
Watch the dissidents be eitheir communists or fascists fr ☠☠☠
Reversed controls in this game pacing will be cancer, in HD1 it made sense, if they carry that over I think it will be pretty much dead content.
Would love to see some kind of zombie like faction. Spores covering the planet converting animals, humans and even vegetation. You’ve got big bosses chucking big ass rocks and hordes of zombies surrounding you. Throwing their own limbs, other zombies or using bile attacks similar to the bugs. Landmines like the automatons could be replaced with Venus fly trap like plants. So much potential
Zzz Hope to never see zombies
Honestly I doubt it, that would be too close to the bugs imo, melee focused and not a lot of opportunity for hard enemies
I'm going to guess they'll also add a new faction too since there's four sides the enemies can attack from on the system map and after the illuminate there'll be one empty side left
That’s a neat idea.
I could imagine them making the illuminate as a gorilla warfare type of enemy as their technology has been stripped from them. Working more on ambushes and hit and run tactics utilizing stealth and speed. Their technology could still be advanced but they would be using put together remnants of their old technology.
My idea comes from the lore of people on the ship talking about how termanids are evolved from testing and experimentation on the bugs since the first game. I don't know much about the robots but I theorize that it's due to cyborg people creating robots that rapidly multiply which will carry on the will of the cyborgs who are their creators
Awsome breakdown. Im also pretty sure we will see enemies we have never seen before!
I really hope that we will get to see factions clashing, it would be so cool to see a 3 way combat (and hell to experience)
I hope that two new factions are added on the north and south of the map, and then the space in between are planets where two enemy types are present and it’s a three way battle. Would be super cool
First off, great video👏
Second honestly been wondering about that since I first checked the map. There's SOOOOOO much room still, not to mention they could still even expand the map. Imagine we push past our initial borders and fight into the Automaton HQ Planet/System and come to find another faction, like the Illuminate or some new species, is responsible for creating them! Or even some species that the Illuminate have taken over and send to attack Super Earth? Ohhhhh I can't wait to see what happens!
So far though it's been a blast!🔥
HAVE A CUP OF LIBER-TEA!!!
Btw, the cyborgs from the first game and the automatons from this one are a different faction. The only faction that crossed over from the first game are the terminids.
Cyborgs ARE the automatons, they just removed the last bits of flesh from their machine bodies
@@Ranni_Witch Pretty sure Arrowhead studios confirmed that Automatons were not the cyborgs.
@@Ranni_Witchno, arrowhead said automatons are totally different and have nothing to do with cyborgs so fortunately we will have reworked cyborgs in this game
The Terminids aren't the same kind either, they were more or less bred to produce higher numbers for more oil and have changed over time as a result.
I thought they hinted that the automatons are a “new threat” with a familiar logo. They’re probably evolved cyborgs
This is all awesome and sick news !! I would love to see them do bigger and larger when it comes to players on map and enemies forces. I would think bigger might be better when it comes to the large scale battles.
Although the Illuminate are most def the next faction that's coming what I really wanna see is multi-faction plantes where they'll fight each other rather than waiting for the Helldivers to come along. Have it where it's a "contested" planet with mulitple percentages accredited to each faction that's fighting over its control and every operation will have ripple effects on the other faction's progress. Maybe if you ignore the bug holes while taking out many more automatons then the next few ops on that planet will have a much bigger bug presence than before.
Phenomenal game I love small double A games that come out of nowhere and take the community by storm!❤️🤙🏻 wishing em luck and god continues blessing them and us divers!
Although a completely different game, vibe and of course affliation/ licencing of one of The Big Two Deal. I have the same investment and appreciation as I did for State of Decay 1 and 2. Yes I'm a dirty console whore and I'm proud of it ! 😚
gonna be interesting to see how people react to the tiranid worm when that comes, if it comes xD
Would be a bitch to program, but man would that be awesome
oh imagen a small version coming up under u and grabing ur legs hindering movement xD
I've seen its bones on the surface of some world's.
That thing is a beast. It usually attack players that deal it with the most damage. It comes out of the ground and swallow the player. It spits out acid and instantly kill whoever it got on. Staying still is a NO NO. This thing will hunt you down from afar.
@@mrWinterFTW They can make it work. Look at Armored Core 6, the had a giant Robot Worm and it was one of the best fights in the game.
Thank you for actually saying automaton correctly!
😁
No way you have 165 k subs already!! Wow congrats dude
Thank you!
This is the War of the Worlds faction we need!
A lot of the planets have jelly fish and glowing type wildlife already, could be a possible connection.
Yea! And they have been shooting electricity
The one thing that i didn't really like about HD2, was the fact that there are only 2 enemy factions. The fact that the devs plan on bringing more make the game even more appealing. I'm hoping for maybe 4 or 5 total factions(one human Rebel faction maybe?). Bugs, robits, humans, and tech aliens. There's room for more factions as well, but two more would be huge
Imagine the third faction being one of Eldritch nature.
There will be 4 factions the devs confirmed it.
Well the Cyborgs from the last game were the original splinter human faction
@@rhett3185 then we need another splinter human faction that doesn't turn themselves in to robots lol
@@v02max75 My guess or hope is the 4th or maybe even 5th faction are some kind of either mutants (like human mutants) or like Orks from 40K. It’ll be good because if it’s something ‘like’ the orks then it’ll be kinda like a Horde faction that has both melee units and ranged units just to a different level than Automatons.
My brother said dinosaurs would be a cool concept to tackle next or old 60-70 Aliens. Also I think a collab with aliens/xenomorphs would be cool and could even have the smart gun as a strategm, marine gear as armor. They even call terminds and xenomorphs bugs too and could add predator in as a Stalker type of special enemy 😂
That would be awesome!
this is not that kind of game go play fortnight or call of duty for that
More like predator as armour and for the robots it’ll be an easy reskin of terminators with the planet looking like that dark blue scenes that u see in flashbacks from Terminator 2
rest in peace second extinction.
Not every game has to have collaborations. They're slowly building their own universe and lore (taking place 100 years on from the first game) and immediately everyone wants John Wick or f'n Barbie or whatever. What's wrong with gamers today? Just let a thing be its thing.
Seeing how the game is going i would guess that they will add another faction aside from the main 3 that they are planed
I love the idea that the devs really didn't think much about helldivers. considering I doubt alot of people played the first one.
but they went full starship troopers on us, and ofcourse we had to answer the call.
and cause so many people are liberating planets, they gotta think of more enemies for us to fight.
Cant wait for my controls to be inversed
What I want to see is two factions on one planet, fighting for control. Imagine deploying on an Automaton planet, only for Terminids to suddenly pop out of the ground, so now there's a threeway battle for domination!
Plus, after the Illuminate, I want to see more factions in the future. At least two or three more. Let's fill the galaxy with enemies to fight!
Just having your stratagems scrambled was tough !! Planet effect.
I dont know much about the lore but if what ur saying is correct its going to be some awsome content to explore m8
well is cool that the illuminates might come to helldivers 2, but in that note if they come like in nort region or south region there would still be a region wihtout enemy, is just atotal speculation but imagine that maybe...just maybe we get a new enemy faction thats is not automaton, or terminid, or illuminate..a totally new thing...i dont know there is a probability or maybe no..who knows
great vid drifter
id love to see this! after they expand the servers, of course
Yes!
Lowkey I want to see one planet that controlled by the bugs and the automatons , but it’s just a constant “bug breach” and “robot flare” so you will literally be dropping into “hell” or a massive combat map 3 way slug feast
look like there will be 4 factions in total bc theres four directions on the map
It's a circle, infinite directions. So we got infinite mew enemies in the future
Enemy factions can also be pushed out for another to come in.
@@mesaplayer9636it would be awesome if the developers could pull something like this off, but for each faction they need at least maybe 8 or 9 different enemys with unique animations, attacks, etc. it would also be a waste to just remove a faction from the game
@@Leviathan56 they put in more types on the Cyborg and Bugs than the illuminati on HD1 for each DLC version. You would expect more types of enemies later on. It gets tougher for each variations. So expect to die in more ways.

Been following you since before 100k, I didn't realize you made this video so when I clicked on it and heard your voice it surprised me
Not in a bad way of course
Thanks for being part of the community!
Good good, I still haven’t experienced all the enemies so far.
Biggest one I have yet to overcome is the server queue!
What about adding space orks? They already have necrons and tyranids?
The Necrons we have function like Orks, though. Inaccurate Dakka everywhere, big stompy "bosses", bigger stompy walkers and big tanks.
would have been nice if you showed Helldiver 1 gameplay while talking about the illuminte.
That’s good feedback
Not sure if this fresh enlistment of Helldivers are ready for squids. Especially with our lacking armory/assets
there is definately space for a third enemy faction, but theres also space for 2 or 3 more (5 or 6 total) if you actually look at the galaxy map
Every Helldivers video pop up on my feed increases my urge to buy despite my thinning wallet XD
It’s worth it
It would be interesting if Illuminate would randomly show up in missions in small numbers. Your fighting one of the other factions and stumble upon a small Illuminate force.
Also imagine if the Illuminate used their teleport technology to randomly move armies of the other factions around the map.
It hurts to see 15:18 you ignore the container. Why did you not breach it? ;(
I’m sorry!
We’ll be ready
Looking at the gameplay. 15:15 why you didnt destroy the container? There is always free loot
Wish we could have a new faction that's more Eldritch and Magical themed like a mysterious cosmic force that infects and feeds on a planets life force, something the illuminates have been fighting against for awhile now. You would be fighting mind controlled humans, cultists, bugs, automatons or monsters teleported in and objectives would be capturing them to study, interrupting rituals, or heading inside pocket dimensions to deal with whatever is inside.
There could also be a madness effect where you start to hallucinate teammates running with you, dying if you get separated, going invisible during fights and looking like an enemy. Or maybe hallucinating enemies mid fight for you to waste ammo on, only for them to disappear when shot at
They have tons of plans for new enemies not just 3 factions. What I think for a new faction are renegade helldivers that have betrayed and now using helldivers weaponry and using strategems against Super earth.
An eldritch horror type enemy would be incredible! Maybe something like the flood or like necromorphs from dead space, where it's just humans beings that are horrificly warped into grotesque abominations.
@@johnclement189that would mean our super destroyers would be facing the enemy’s without being shot down, which doesn’t make much sense
There is already a third faction that's the most powerful...the queue times! I haven't been able to play for 3 days because queue takes too long. A true threat to liberty!
Joel is delaying managed democracy, but they are not a faction, they are the GM
I would also love some sort of grey alien, reptilians, and even human rebel faction, but for enemy humans they need to beef up the npc ai. They can’t just be running at you like bugs or robots.
It'll be cool to fight off a tribal reptilian faction, although it wouldn't make too much sense as if they had tribal weaponry, why would they be able to travel to different planets. Still cool to think about, nonetheless
Another humanoids
I was wondering if there would be another enemy faction and I was also wondering if the next enemy would be similar to The Covernant or Unitology as we’ve gotten the two most common Sci-Fi enemies Hivemind Aliens and Rouge Robots the next best thing I can currently think of is Alien or Human Extremists or Cultists
Hell divers
Shadow bans are not real
lol
really cool if you shown their abilities from the first game as you explained what they do
Thanks!
Thank you!
Still can’t get over the fact that you can’t jump without a jet pack in this game…..
There’s a fair amount of games that have only vaulting and no jumping. The division being the first big title that comes to mind and it does it just fine
You're literally in space on foreign planets
The Long Dark you can't jump.
I know, it's personal preference i guess. Sometimes it's quite frustrating to see the character getting stuck by a little bump on the planet floor when chased by the bugs, and you have to either run all the way around, or keep running towards the bump hoping your character can 'mush' up above it.@@MrRhoidRage
So? You can sprint in space on foreign planets, but not do a little hop/jump? Jump seems kinda silly to me.@@SHELBYGT645

@Joe-no7gs I’m not concerned about the steam reviews, and they didn’t screw up at all dude what are you smoking.
They’re literally suffering from success. They’re 5-10x more popular than the developers themselves projected. The game isn’t coded to handle the amount of players trying to enjoy the fantastic masterpiece they definitely did not screw up on.
They’re working on it - meanwhile your loss “they screwed up bad” lmfaooooo look at the steam charts they did a great job.
There is actually a voiceline mentioning the illuminate
"In my opinion? The automatons will be forgotten like the illuminate 100 years ago" (probably not the *exact* qoute)
This voiceline belongs the the ship crew member that stands in the spawn area.
I just talked to one of teh npcs on the ship that you are on. This one is to the right of where you enter the ship, or across from where you acess you ship menu. The NPC talked about how they hoped to treat the bugs like they did the Illuminids and the Cyborgs. So to me it sounds like the third and fourth factions are Cyborgs and Illuminids, although I don't know how they will make the Cyborgs different from the Automatons.
i dont know if anyone noticed but on the title screen in the background there is small flying Terminids. i hope they add these bugs to the game too
my TIP is that u can turn your hip fire targeting reticle on at all times..... not shur y thy set it to off its a must for run&gun stay mobil aiming at stuff thats like 5 feet in front of u can get u killed
This game is probably the most exited I have been for a game in years.
Hey! Fellow helldiver who enjoys trucking around the game files from time to time, there are actually model files for illuminates! I'd expect them to be in the game eventually too
Magbe we will get some map where we fight terminids and automatin at the same times
As a player of the original game, I’m so glad that they’re bringing this back. This is gonna be sick.
I CANT WAIT FOR THE ILLUMINATES
Remember brothers our Helmets don't have any additional values or bonuses yet like body armor. So they may add those when they add the illuminates or a varient of it (like the Bots) to aid us on spotting and killing said enemy
I wonder if they will do something where the automatons and the terminids are in the same sector of the galaxy and when we drop in to do a mission we have to fight against the two and also see them fighting
I think the Automatons are not going on the search for the Illuminate but to free the Cyborgs (those are not the same faction but it is said that they descendet from the Cyborgs). The Cyborgs are currently in rehabilitation in the Mines of Cyberstan. In the Last days you could see on the map how the Automatons are creeping in this direction too.
A melee attack based stratagem would be tight
As long as they try and keep making you feel like you are part of the wider big picture I will be happy. I have no doubt a zombie mode at somepoint haha
I've heard helldivers is based off a comic, if so that mist be a dope as comic to read
On the Servers are Full screen that we've all seen, there are creatures flying in the background. Maybe a new enemy.
I really hope we get to protect super earth itself, that would be cool. The trailer showed houses and a suburb, that would be so fun to shoot around in and loot houses
Or some other urban planets to defend/liberate. Given how Super-Earth is in the middle of the map, having to defend that means we would be losing the war hard.
Maybe we could get some urban assault missions if they add a rebel faction.
Considering the positioning, There looks to be, just enough space, they could squeeze up to five enemy types, which would be interesting, Though they could do three, but there is just enough to let them have five, unless they choose to widen the battlelines per faction
Finally got bonelab! Honestly such a good game and I haven’t even completed the story mode👍
I heard alot of insta kills, pretty sure they won't let all the creatures be like this, plus in the current Helldivers 2, there is 8 and 8 of both types, might be only 8 of the Illuminates as well? until the game expands
What would be cool is to have planets with multiple factions fighting for control of it
Yesss!
How did you get the white and blue version of that armor?
W man right here
We're going to have the original 3 factions + a new one from what I remember.
Is the helldivers the grunt of super earth or elite soldiers? I kind of want an update to add something like (AI Soldier/creep) Like in Dota or For Honor
My friend the water people were already here in the first game right now they are just doing a tactical retreat until they regroup.
This game has insane potential
I can't wait to fight the illuminates again, they were my favourite faction to fight against in Helldivers one.
That said, I'm gonna need a bit more time to prepare for them 😅.
The only training video that’s matters
holy fucking shit this video just gave me the coolest idea (mind you i havent finished the video so i have no idea if its mentioned later but i got an extremely cool idea for events in long term)
the video proposes that automatons could be searching for the technology of the illuminate so they can fulfill their goal and exterminate humanity
i think an awesome way to introduce the illuminate into HD2 would be over the course of 3 events, which are as follows
Elite automatons have an EXTREMELY RARE chance of spawning in with an illuminate weapon/technology
this could be used to further the lore in 1 of 2 ways
automatons have found illuminate technology and have given it too the highest level elites.
or
the automatons established an agreement with the illuminate. the illuminate would supply a small amount of weapons/technology too the automatons in exchange for helping rebuild their military
2nd event
The automatons have stockpiled and organized a massive quantity of illuminate weaponry/technology and are using them to invade planets.
this would signify that the illuminate are almost fully rebuilt and are doing the final checks of their equipment through automaton raids.
3rd event
Illuminate forces start appearing in small numbers alongside automaton forces, ranging from lowly soldiers to extremely dangerous elites in rare instances, the galaxy is about to experience all out war.
this is just my idea and something i think would single handedly break the internet. i would dump so much time into this its insane.
There needs to be a collaboration between Helldivers and Killzone. I can imagine seeing orange eyes in the distance of a dark field.
