It's a Monster... What a fucking great song !! More than 20 years have passed, and yet I still listen to it almost every day !! I've grown up with Extreme. Thank you so much guys for your music which is such a blessed thing for me !
@ 2:44 Mangini decides to turn on the double bass & match Nuno's speed/timing.........Incredible! They transition into RIP..........Watch their Queen/Freddy Mercury tribute.......they are masters of montage.
3.10 That moment when you realise that the drummer was learning to play the track along with the CD and not what you told him! Love Mangini though, he's a legend.
As I got older I learned to appreciate when it comes to vocalists their performance more than how tune they are in. Sure Gary sings sometimes out of tune but so does majority of singers. But as a performer Gary is among the greatest. He's now almost 49 and his physical power is greater than I ever had or anyone I know. He's like a duracel bunny that never runs out of energy. Nice performance, Extreme at great form.
0:31 Wrong song! ('s A Monster)! Its actually unreal because since this was around a week before Donnington 94, but once they reached Donnigton, they played its a monster more faster.
OOPS on Tempo and feel at 3:13 RIP - Drummer was LOST for a sec...Look at Nuno COMPOSER..... also..Man was Gary Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.... ALOT of energy on Monster song..Look at his face on top of the AMPS..geeked out...lol.. AWESOME GUITAR player, one of my favs..also..Nuno plays on tour with Rhianna "hip hop artist"
this is so awesome! Mike M. had a couple of mistakes during the RIP intro. but over all, it's still amazing! love Mike and Extreme! thanks for uploading TOBLERONETWO!
@@lalhmunmawiapachuau7777But was still playing the intro when they went into the verse, most likely due to lack of practice for this version as this seemed to be a really odd switch, didn't fit at all.
Mike Mangini playing with Extreme is like Mike Mangini playing with Hanson. If Hanson also had a great guitarist. I'm not that good at analogies but you get my point.
same got dang rythm every song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with a wee harmony and harmonic on the git these guys suck ass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, it's the guitar solo, let's film everyone else.
And now Mangini is on the top of his drumming career. GBU Mr. Mike "Maestro" Mangini.
a.k.a Cher on Drums!!! Hey, it's HIS FAULT for knowing how to manage his hair ;) Like everything else.
I came here from a sound check video where he explains he's still progressing.
I was there!!!
What a great year!
Pride & Glory,Therapy?,Sepultura,Pantera,Extreme & Aerosmith.
What a great year!!!

Crazy seeing a clip of Mangini right before he switched his Tom set up but already using cable hats/left hand ride.

that was on MTV's 'headbager's ball' . Opening Aerosmith 29.05.1994 in Warsaw, Poland. Great show!
Mangini, master of drumming. This clip is great! Thanks for uploading.
nahhh
Yeah!
For all you nay sayers that said Mike Mangini can’t groove!
I don’t think he’s playing too good here, to be honest…
@@kiekko673 of course you don't... if that was Portnoy then, wow wow.. hahahaha
Mangini is obviously a very technically gifted drummer, but there’s no doubt he was a bad fit for Extreme.
Mike mangini on Drum !!
And playing Remo Drum Kit
i love the R.I.P. song since i was a teen until now.
3.10 That moment when you realise that the drummer was learning to play the track along with the CD and not what you told him!
Love Mangini though, he's a legend.
Yes, 2:54 - 3:12, changing tempo, drummer bagus.
From it's a monster to RIP
What a groove this has and what a fucking raw voice...awesomeniss😆
The Whole band is great! The crowd was really into it too. Thanks for the post.
Extreme with Mangini is absolute power and groove!
I supposed Extreme will be remembered as fostering the world's best drummer in his early years.

lol! Nuno must has something like 26 or 28 years old here!
rest in Peace, silly TV. Nice upload tho, this stuffs rare.

aaaaa thanks for this!!!!
Mangini was a perfect fit for band like Annihilator and Extreme
Mike mangini 🤘
Aaaaaaah I had this on video, I'm looking for this scene on YT for AGES!
Beautiful, thanks buddy!
i was watching this thinking it was donnington then i heard mike at 2.45 and thought dont remember that at donnington lol. First i have saw this!
Thanks for such a good posting!! love it . I wish I could find everything they did back then..
It's not R.I.P in the beginning
0:31 Wrong song! ('s A Monster)! Its actually unreal because since this was around a week before Donnington 94, but once they reached Donnigton, they played its a monster more faster.
beautiful.
Great upload... thank you!!! Hard to believe it's nearly twenty years ago :-(
Man these are great thanks
Thanks for posting! Really great performance
Рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍
Beste Besetzung ❤🤘
these guys never aged a bit.

nooo...that was the transition from a higher energy and fastest song, to a slower one ....... i don´t see any lost in there.
mike mangini on drum?
what tempo?
@@gregdeangelo8650 yeah
There's no loss of tempo. The two songs are of different tempos, Mangini skillfully switched from a faster tempo to a bit slower one.
Mike mangini on drum?
@Angel Messtanoffski The Great Mancini
omg really?!
Yess of course
@@lafera310 He also recorded an album with the band. 1995's Waiting for the punchline.
@@ridehead8771 Not exactly, Paul Geary recorded the drums on the album, except for two songs I guess.
Rest in peace? No no this is more than words
03:41 Is she coming from future ? she is taking pictures by her smartphone camera. It was in 1994
Mangini is deadly fast
He should've yelled Fore! when he flung that mic stand😂
is gary used to be a ballet dancer???
3:00 Train wreck averted by professionalism. :)
@Patres87 i somehow agree. For me Nuno is better when Live.
f*ckin' hell; as time goes by!
@rmtdrums yes u get that on motley crue shows
Gary is like a man with an update of a monkey FW that is corrupted. he is a total league of his own
Gary Cherone looks like Ralph Machio.
sounds like him too

Gary Come!
Try watching the whole video. Do you have A.D.D.???
We can play any better than the other bands.
Here's hoping Mangini can rejoin Extreme or join a similar project. Better to play this type of fun music than boring Dream Theatre
Boring? Dream theatre?
Why mike mangini lost tempo?
Because is 4/4
Lol@ ‘Rest in Peace’
Feel bad for Gary Cherone how he was treated in Van Halen, was BS he wasn't all that bad.
0:30 - epic fail :DDDD
Mike Mangini playing with Extreme is like Mike Mangini playing with Hanson. If Hanson also had a great guitarist. I'm not that good at analogies but you get my point.
Well, Extreme will be known for something until eternity.
😅
I think that womans came there to see Nuno
No doubt lol
Yes sure
Gary Cherone was the limiting factor in this band. His voice is great, but the stage presence doesn't fit the band.

paul geary the original drummer is so better (..!)
