Fabulous as usual guys and girls, what a treat you people give so much entertainment for us all and as was already said the music is always spot on,what was going on under the landy a sticking plaster being applied no doubt. Aidan in 🇮🇪
The album I played as I drove onto French soil to begin a new life after travelling from Steve Patchetts home town was The Doves, The Last Broadcast as featured in a Early Team Faff vid. Not a coincidence.
I've no idea what your jobs are? They should be full time adventure film making another excellent video Team Faff, thanks for the tour of Turin I honestly thought that you were going to drive over the roof Now Where's my dvd of the Italian Job?
About a thousand mile round trip, lets say about 15mpg, you're looking at 1100 beer tokens for petrol alone. Much better than spending that on an all inclusive beach resort any day. Well done folks.
Beautiful! Did you drive all the way to Italy or shipped the cars? I have a 1962 series II and would love to do a small tour of the Alps but I don't have enough holidays to drive all the way... ;-) ... it would take me a month just to get there.
Shipped??? No we drove it all, it was a road trip after all. I actually drove all the way back to England from Switzerland, 850 miles in 24 hours including an hours sleep on the ferry to Dover.
@@130vidal amazing.... what top speed can you do? because mine at 40mph screams so much! It begs to slow down. It will take me a lot more than 24 hours to do 850 miles... I have done London to Dolomites Italy in a Defender 110 few times... but that was a totally different level of luxury. 😀
@@federicocasarin3423 we have RR diffs and overdrives so we can cruise around 65-70 mph. Check out our other videos, one of which we did 1840 miles in around 45 hours!
@@130vidal ah! that explains!!! I did not know you could get a Series to reach that speed! Do you know who could help with mine? It would extend the range of my trips enormously...
@@federicocasarin3423 the Overdrive (although getting expensive) are a relatively easy fit. Alternatively you can fit Range Rover diffs that will gear everything up including low range. You could also get a high ratio transfer case like the one Ashcroft do.
Hi, they are 750 SATs (copies) on 1 Ton rims. It’s had this size tyres on for nearly 40 years. It was a competition trialler for many years, the more offset wheels with bigger tyres made it more agile with better ground clearance.
I don’t know how you do it but the music just seems to match every video you put up and it’s magic 👍brilliant
Agreed, this track is an especially inspired choice for a soundtrack👍
.
Second that 👍👍
Truth. Listening to the actual rattling, grinding, and growling is exhausting.
Fantastic video and inspirational. Makes me wanna jump in my 86…..
Brilliant , true spirit of Land Rover here and a lot more besides. Some of the best around, keep it up !
Should be an Award Winning Movie, goosebumps for me in the positive Way.Please Keep the show on the Road. 💪.
Well done. Top job and top filming again mate.
Nice! Brings back memories of driving with dad. Maybe do a video featuring what each LR has or has not. Engines, gearboxes etc. That would be cool.
Great video overall and a brilliant bit through Turin with the terrific music from the film. "Hang on lads, I've got an idea" 😉

The threads in the timing case where an oil line fits got damaged so we had to bodge repairs to it for the rest of the trip.

The Mini's entering the bus was filmed along the A21.

What size tires are you using? Did you increase tire size to increase gearing for highway driving? Thanks from Canada.
